Yep, it's been a long, tough road, but we're finally almost at the finish line. I have to give 3A major credit for even making it this far. I think the 7B should be used as a prime example of a cautionary tale when proposing something as ambitious as a team of figures collected over time. We'll see how far the new Dirty Deeds get...

Be afraid. Be very afraid. Twisted Evil Now, words around the campfire is that they are already into the 5th prototype (could be wrong here), so maybe, just maybe, theycould break the tradition.

The Dirty Deeds are not entirely a fair comparison to the 7B. For one, each figure is basically the same as the last, just with some different mcguffins thrown into the box whereas the 7B use molds from a variety of past and current figures. Then there are factors that go against them like higher shipping rates, more intricate paint applications, use of decals, etc.

All in all we can't really assume things will go like the 7B... but hey, it's fun to speculate! Wink

I wonder what the last member of 7B would be? Maybe a TQ?

Did any of you Legonaires got a 7 Bones Heavy Duty Slicer Yoshitsune yet?
Any quality issues?
Any opinions?
All the fotos I saw were really cool! What do you think?

One loose body, that doesn't sound like any major quality issues yet : )
I always liked the 7 Bones a lot and this one looks just great. I have mailed CS for extra stock, but they haven't any. The 'aftermarket' might be too expensive for me, but I will have a look for this one...

Congratulations to all, who scored one!

Mine is ridiculously loose. Can't stand up without the stand with or without the backpack (which is way too heavy). Shame. Yaro is the same. Very loose joints. So disappointing.

You're the second person so far! That's insane!! They delayed them to ensure quality?! How can this be?!

I don't get what would have been so hard about finishing the 7B like years ago...if he put as much time into finishin them as he did into all the random paintings of high heels and those fashion barbie doll figures he could have completed the whole popbot story by now probably.

Considering he uses the longer face that many people don't like, you may be better off finding another 7-Bone head on eBay and just swapping them out...

You mean the blue doesn't match or his hair? Or everything? ha!

7bones concept really looks like it fell apart to me.

Yeah, whole figure is off. Skin tone, hair the blue on his shoes and armour. He looks ok with the rest, but bordering on a stand alone figure..... which is kinda missing the point.

This is the really funny thing about Ash, he really is an interesting specimen. When I first found 3A I was absolutely amazed at the amount of thought that went into the WWR robots: Seemingly simple designs that could easily be passed off without explanation, and yet there is much more to them in Ash's mind. Things like the false 'eyes' on Dropcloths to give them a more relatable appearance, the Square faces and their psychological 'carnival effect' defense, even the Caesars daggers are explained to vibrate at the precise frequency to rend metal like flesh - since normal blades would simply break. All of these interesting and intelligent insights...

...and then the next day he turns around and presents us with a 1/1 scale severed foot... or a T-shirt that no one would be caught dead in... or something just incredibly random and insane, like pretty much anything from Adventure Kartel. Something completely devoid of logic or reasoning both in concept and in marketing, at least to our minds. Or something that makes you scratch your head and say, "Why the hell would anyone want to buy that?"

Now, please understand that I'm not trying to say that these bizarre creations are bad or inherently unwanted. I'm simply pointing out two sides of a very strange coin. Madness - probably, but as a wise man once said, "There is no great genius without some small touch of insanity."
