No shit. I Just don't get messing your customers about. It makes no sense and is entirely avoidable.
Gregory, this is in no way aimed at you, you've been great and I assume are main reason this line was brought back to life. As far as I can tell, it's the man himself. If he loves 2000AD as much as he has claimed, why treat the brand and it's fans so shabbily?

I think maybe fish n Gronk will be on sale for more than 24 hours and no variation.

Just a guess.

That would be nice, although clarification from the powers that be might ease minds!

They are sure to be up eventually, and I would be shocked if they are up less than 3 or 4 days, and completely unsurprised if they are up for well over a week.

I'm sure folks will find them and have time to spread the word to others. Not that they should have to.... but people that want to buy them will still have the chance.

But if that's the case BPP then it's hardly a convention exclusive, and the the people who queued to buy them will be pissed off (not half as pissed off as the guys I know who have had to pay flipper prices on eBay to pick them up).

This kind of mess is totally avoidable if 3A knew what they were doing. Unfortunately it's always a wing and a prayer, it was kind of funny 5 years ago, not so much today.

If there's any variation I'd say just a different box, again just a guess.

Don't get me wrong, I hope it's a week long sale and exactly the figure offered at the con - it was perfect, (well, apart from being 1:12 when it should be 1:6), just don't see why 3A can't make things clear and tell us what's what!

Maybe they get a different box or something.

Who knows.

I don't get 3A's strategy of releasing-hyping stuff for conventions then only make alts available for bamba (orange Storm Troopers? Beuck) but that's the way this company is headed. Conventions are a gathering of the faithless and a few lucky true. But very few. It's not a business model for a company who complain their lines don't get supported and they don't make toys for 'money'. But I think we'll see Fish n Gronk. I think they know the damage they'd do to their core would far outweigh any gain from SDCC.

Since this line is Now Gregory's baby at 3A, and I know he is supremely proud of his work on it (much deserved), I'd trust when he said

gregory wrote:A Gronk and Fish set will be up for preorder at Bamba

Personally I am expecting they will be based on variations previously published in 2000AD. Not identical to the SD release exactly, but "correct" to the AD universe. Whether people will prefer one or the other is a personal taste.

Similar to Tharg's 2 colorways, etc.

He did say the Bamba ones would be slightly different.

Would be nice to have some information - and good publicity while there's so much buzz around the new figures.

Could be a Ron smith fish not a Brian bollard fish. Or half a fish if Ron's timer went off before he was done.

Mmm to go over some stuff - 1/6th 2000AD are coming in 2016

Dredd, Death, Alpha, Anderson, and Rogue are the line up

1/12th Dredd - that's a prototype, some elements will change. Boots will have ankle articulation so he can sit proper on the Lawmaster
He comes with multiple hands - fists, open palm, gun holding
Weapons load out - Lawgiver Mk1, Mk2, and Daystick

1/12th Lawmaster - Will light up, just the gray proto. I'm thrilled with how great it turned out so we decided to show it off early

1/12th Hammerstein - Ash and I took some passes on the current design. It's coming together
