I'm loving these guys. Great sculpts and paint (the paint on the hands of the full colour looks like Bisley art), Tight joints, and the costumes look fantastic. I was worried about the blue of the full colour, as, to my mind, Death wears black but it looks good. It's dark enough to suggest it's black and mimic the comic style highlights. That said, and I know I've said it before, sorry to harp on, I would happily buy a full colour black suit if it were offered.
The suit restricts the articulation a bit, as you'd expect especially in the shoulders and hips but Death ain't much of a croucher so I can live with that. But I do wish he could raise his arms and keep them there. I also wish he had more of a torso bend and articulation at the base of the neck so I could achieve some creepy lean ins.
All in all, I'm pretty blown away. Great job to all involved, this is one of my favourite toys.

Still waiting on Death here. Baffles me that some folk in the same country as me have had them two weeks. Threea's distribution model is just wonky. Unlike any other company I order from.

Could it be that yours is hold by customs for some reason? I know that customs can be very weird at times.

It seems unlikely, as a rule only 3AA sized stuff seems to get looked at, anything smaller has always snuck thru. Looking at the 2000ad board it's clear others haven't received theirs while some have weeks ago.

I mean I know it's not ThreeA fault beyond it being their choice of carrier to keep costs down but you would think that people would all get their stuff within a fairly short window but it always seems so spaced out.

Same with mine, which just arrived yesterday. The figure appears to be fine, fortunately, but they really need to start using sturdier boxes.

Death seems to struggle to stay upright in anything other than a straight legged, arms by side pose. Can anyone recommend a good, inconspicuous 1/12 stand?

Take care when handling your Judge Death. I don't know if they're fragile, but the right hip joint on mine was broken straight out of the package...

That's a bummer. Mine (especially the B&W) love falling over and have had a couple of shelf dived (they've been taken down 'til appropriate stands can be found) but still seem solid.

Only had one report of a hip breakage so far, this would make the second unless you're the same person, and two reports of a shoulder being popped out of socket. So far less than 5 reports of any damages out of a pretty good sized run.

The fragile bits are the beak and tail on the shoulder pad, they have some give, being softer plastic, but he's built to take a tumble or two, as with any figure I wouldn't recommend it. Fear/Mortis/Fire will have some improved articulation.

What kinda articulation improvements, Gregory? I know you've said Death's done but will we see a reworked version of him? Perhaps in 4 pack or something?
How're Judge Fire's flames coming along?

Mostly in the shoulders and the pad connections and really minor tweaks here and there that'll help with posing.

No plans on returning to Death outside of 1/6th scale.

Classic Comic Edition Dark Judges 3pack is in the plans, but not until Fire is done. Fire is very early stages so it'll be a bit of a wait.

Fear next month if all goes well.

Oh Faaark!

Both versions of Death arrived in the Grim North. Now wishing I'd ordered duplicates as I can't bring myself to open these up!

Stunning!

3pack? As in Fire, Fear and Mortis but no Death? And only Classic Comic Edition, no regular colour version? Just trying to keep things clear Smile

Fear will be fantastic to see in detail - so many great elements to the character and design.

As always, your work on these is appreciated, Gregory!

Is it normal for customer service to answer some questions, but not others and ignore some messages entirely?

English is not their first language. Sometimes might be difficult to translate or they simply don't have answer at the moment and are waiting for a response from the factory or the higher ups.
