Yeah, the instant I got it!
Yup, definitely my favourite bit of the pack.

I just got another t-shirt, TK head and membership card today. Not planning to sell em. I really liked this years t-shirt so I am glad I have a second one now.

I know there's still discussion regarding 2015 membership pack, just wondering when we might start hearing about 2016? Oct or Nov sometime? Still trying to figure out what to do about renewing.

Re: 3AA 2015 Discussion
I don't know if I will renew either. I only collect the Destiny figures now, and the Warlock is supposed to come out this year so will still be covered by my 3AA membership. That means I would only have to eat the full price on the Hunter in 2016.
I think it's better to pay full price for a single figure than to pay $190 for a membership package I do not want and then the discounted price for the figure I do want. Of course I'm assuming the 3AA price will be the same as last year and that all the Destiny figures will be priced similarly.
I definitely won't renew if they try and delay the Warlock release to 2016 in order to trick me. I would be so angry that I would post a stupid pointless annoying message on the forums about it. I need a bit of an incentive to renew other than the discount. What good is my discount if there are no Destiny figures to use it on? I really doubt they'll release anything other than the three guardian figures.

I know I've said it before, but I'll say it again. They should keep membership packages simple. All the packaging goes to waste anyway I'm sure. They should just sell 4 different figures. One figure sold during the beginning of each week of the month of January. Each figure would be from a different 3A line. You'd be able to buy each figure if you wanted to, but you'd only be getting one membership discount. There wouldn't be any membership card 'cause we all know those have been screwed up in the past. So no lanyard would be needed either. There wouldn't be any clothing 'cause we all know the sizes for some have been screwed up in the past as well. Just the toy and the discount. Simples. Easy peasy. Beautiful breezy.

I plan to renew. I've already made back more than what the package cost me from discounts. Plus with 2000AD, Transformers, DC and Marvel, for me 2016 may still be worthwhile.

Re: 3AA 2015 Discussion
I haven't bought much this year (four figures, but the offset on saving vs membership price has still been decent) but I'll decide for 2016 once we know what's in the pack because aussie dollar sucks and all that. I'd definitely like to see a simpler pack though.
Re: 3AA 2015 Discussion
I like the card, and they've never been screwed up, just sent to the wrong person.
I agree that simpler is better, but Ash made a good point that the packages are what they are for the new members. He wants them to have a great intro to 3AA.

Re: 3AA 2015 Discussion
Yeah, at this point I imagine the general expectation come 3AA Day is for a big fancy box with a shirt and art a load of stuff so rolling back to a the barebones pack with plastic bagged F-Legion in it probably won't fly for most any more.
Not that there's necessarily anything wrong with the big elaborate sets per-se, its just that I'd be fine with receiving a box that wasn't almost big enough for my 30kg dog to live in...

Re: 3AA 2015 Discussion
I'd be happy with an higher quality AK figure size type box with internal plastic clam shell. We can keep the card and/or give us some postcard art on quality glossy cardstock. For clothing, just give us a cool 3A beanie or some 3A wrist/head sweat bands. Maybe a scarf or some socks. A one size fits all deal.

Re: 3AA 2015 Discussion
I'd be perfectly happy with the card and one really well made figure in a simple Nom style box shipped to the right address, personally. All the rest, with the tons of filler stuff going in just leads to unnecessary delays, mixups and bad feelings rather than being impressive or extra exciting. Sometimes it's better to do one thing REALLY well and knock people's socks off with that, than a bunch of stuff with various flaws. But that's just my take.

Re: 3AA 2015 Discussion
No need to make them bigger and better every year. With more and more signing up I feel it just leads to more delays. 80% of the packing goes in the garbage anyway.

Re: 3AA 2015 Discussion
The lassy pack was pretty impressive the best pack of all. But this last 3ago with extra junk, love toy, 3ago tk head and mcgee seemed thrown together and random no cohesiveness. Ideal for me would be a 1/6 toy and print of said toy. The box, lanyard, bgas, hats and tees have really been hit or miss. 3a is trying to cover so many different genres at once.

Re: 3AA 2015 Discussion
I still think it would be cool to have the box come with 1 figure, 1 nice piece of art, the smaller the better, and some piece of swag (scarf was a good call by Chivo. Like an awesome football (soccer) scarf). I know it would be difficult but I think 3 different figures, 1 from each major line, would be cool. You could pick which one you want and a lot of people would be happy. I know, I know, every time someone brings that up it's like "Oh, the difficulty! Oh the planning!" Well, they put 3 figures and a dildo in this last box. I think if mankind can do that, they can probably figure out how to get 1 AK, Popbot, or WWR figure in a box. I wouldn't even care if they sold them in waves, saying "Hey, if you ordered AK box you get it in March, Popbot box in May, and WWR in July." Waiting for something I want is much better than getting something I won't know what to do with early. Just one man's opinion.

Re: 3AA 2015 Discussion
I think the best option would be to just offer some sort of voucher or credit for a free* item of your choice during the year.
Not everyone likes or collects the line that is included each year, so just let us pick what figure we want. The "pack" can be described as above. Card and scarf (or beanie. Been wanting a 3A beanie for a while). Simple and easy, should be able to go out a month or two after the sale.
That would also help with the production schedule as they wouldn't need to make 5K+ of one or more figures.
* Max limit of $150 or something

That is actually a great idea Robby save a ton of 3a hatchery time making the same figure all at once. Give the fans the toy they want. But I think Ash seems to get a kick out of making 3aa packs different every year. They have become almost like art pieces.

Don't you know that everything released by 3A is an art piece? These are not mere action figures. These are Ashley Wood's hopes, dreams, and fantasies given a three-dimensional form.

I still like the idea of a 1/6 or 3AGO Legion figure. Sort of unique and have a line of it's own like Hatchery TK protecting the toys. Don't know if it could fit into the WWR line, but could easily blend in with AK, Popbot or hell even Pascha to a degree. Every year a unique head design or outfit or even Ash or Kim heads.

A 1/6 legion figure would be badass with Multi heads to switch out :a nom4th head/tk head/robo head/zomb head/random human head with extra parts to customize. It would give all the fans of the various toy line a unique toy. Plus it wouldn't require a new toy mold.

I totally agree, a large box is not necessary and I am not sure if everybody appreciated all the pieces in it. Certainly judging by the what went on sale on Ebay and the various BSTs. A point to make as well is that a lot of folks got stung with custom charges for this large box.

3a weapon and accessories pack would be cheap and easy plus low cost shipping. In an ammo box.
