Gimby , not many things to discuss for now..

Steel Age is smth new and unknown.

But I'm glad that Ash is working on new stylish characters from DC.
Batman will start the line and later we'll see more, heard about a monthly figure from DC universe.

That's hard to believe but all is possible.

From Q:A

Q: Can you please show a wee tease of Steel Age Batman? Do you have a rough idea of when you hope to have this on Bamba?
A: Very soon, and then a monthly figure from my DC universe, spent some time developing a new body for them, can’t just use a normal 1/6th body on them etc.

“Steel Detective Batman and Joker Fresh LTD Editions will be our finale to the DC Steel Age line.”

Wonder if these are the Blue and Grey version of batman with yellow belt.

Man since they didn’t sell out it would be awesome if AW would toss in a special bonus comic signed or even blow us away and make it a two pack with detective joker unannounced but included with the orders for those who backed the release. I simply am blown away that it wasn’t sold out.

Sold a majority of them. There’s about 40 people that ordered, but didn’t pay. They’ll have til end of week to complete the PayPal transaction before their order is canceled

We’ll save some stock to sell at shows like SDCC and a small allotment will be offered to retailers

...and I on the other hand will never quite understand this mindset. 3A offered up a figure, and we bought it. That's awesome. Its one I wanted and the price was acceptable to me. Win/win.

But because it didn't sell out in a flash, the company should now should give the people that did buy it even more than they paid for? It's the whiff of entitlement suggestions that puts me off.

If 3A chose to do something extra for fans simply because they felt like it, that = totally awesome.
Fans suggesting the company should do something extra for fans = entitlement.

It's been around since the early days of 3A, and for sure long before 3A ever existed, but any more I sure do read a lot of suggestions from fans about what 3A (and insert any other company name here) should and shouldn't be doing to reward them for spending their money on the products they offer. Buy/don't buy. Our choice.

Giving them suggestions on things we think would make for product we'd be interested in buying = helpful info.
Floating ideas of things they should give us for free because we bought a thing.... not so much. But that's just my .02¢, and different strokes and all that.

I can only cross my fingers and hope the accompanying Joker fig is as easy of a score!

I think you're reading too much in to what 3A_Boltman said. Entitled is saying something with certainty and arrogance that this is deserving and owed. His is really a "Know what could be cool?" comment, which I agree would be cool but highly unlikely.

I agree with you Josh. Pap and Bolt were both commenting on a "wouldn't it be cool if..." I'd take that as wishful thinking, just shooting the breeze, I don't see it as entitlement or demanding. All you guys bought the figure coz you liked it, if anything else happened that would be cool, if nothing else happens you guys got the figure you wanted. All good here, nothing too see, move along.

I missed Laurent at the time but got one in the aftermarket for cost price and he is very cool, knew it was way less than 100 but didn't know it was that low. I used to be one of the Emo bashers but now I'm waaay more laid back and much happier. Cool

I'm just saying I don't think I'll ever understand how people's minds immediately go to that point of daydreaming of getting more because they supported something. That's expectation, even if it's wishful thinking. I just don't think I'll ever understand it. That's all I'm saying. Making polite conversation.

... but wouldn't it be cool if Ash came to my house and painted a wall mural, because I bought one of his comics that didn't sell so well? Shocked

Sometimes getting a bit extra is nice. For example, I have a toy room that I would say is 90% furnished with Hasbro figures, NOT an exaggeration. Aside from a few Neca Hellboy figures, Power Ranger Zords and Voltrons and some 1/12 3A Brambl, everything else is Hasbro. but there is NOTHING Hasbro will do for me. I don't get extras, freebies, nadda. So to think "Wouldn't it be nice if..." is fun to think about. Or take the first 10 years from Bambaland. People that took a chance on year one and have been a member since year one got a special bonus for year 10. Sometimes a nice "Thank you", even a small gesture, is something fans enjoy getting. I don't agree with the the demanding entitlement fans. That's never cool.
