Does anyone have a link to a review of DOOM?

Thank you 3a_boltman. I am debating between the Classic and the Stealth editions. Is it hard to get to the batteries? How are the lighting effects for the chest and legs?

haven't purchase batteries yet or looked for them. I went with stealth as Amazon had a good sale. I can send pics but don't know how to post on this forum. wish you could just upload like how Facebook offers.

Yeap, I am buying it on Amazon. I have some points that I can use and the price right now for Doom Stealth Edition, and Iron Man Silver Centurion, is pretty tempting. However, I have heard some issues about QC with regards to the lighting effects (Doom) and joints/plastic (Iron Man).

It also troubles me that I have not been able to find reviews for Doom.

Yeah not a lot on Doom, I was trying to find reviews too. Really angry with myself for not pulling the trigger on the ghost version. Sooo hard to find now. Debating on picking up a classic version or not.

Right, you can find the Stealth and Classic versions pretty easily but I have not seen the Ghost version come up for sale... the lack of reviews is pretty odd. I have seen quite a few on Iron Man but not Doom.

Still debating on it.

Well I broke down and bought the Classic version, I got a really good price on it. There are a couple of reviews of the stealth version up on the youtubes now.

Thought I would update this a bit. When I get classic in I will try to get a few pics to show it off since it seems most people have gotten the stealth version. Anyone else ended up scoring a Doom yet?

He's really good. I really like his size, he's bigger than most 1/6 figs, really solid to hold. The lining on him is one of my favorite parts, it gives him great definition. I love everything about the sculpt except the nipples, but I just wrapped the robe around him in a more traditional Doom fashion so I don't have to see them. Admittedly I haven't gotten around to getting batteries to see the light up effect, since I didn't use them much with atlas or robo heavy, but I like how Doom looks without the light up effect so it's not a big deal. The rubber is used only on joints on inner elbow, thighs, neck and ankles. It's held up really well, especially on the inner elbows since that rubber has faced the most bending.

Only complaints are is toe joints are a little bit loose, but otherwise he's A+ figure.

If the ghost version didn't exist though I would have grabbed the classic version, but the white just looks so great on him, so I'm glad I have it.

Yeah I wished I picked up the ghost version when I had the chance. It looks great and so hard to find now. I went ahead and got the classic because of the price I was able to get on it. It should be here around the end of next week. I am pretty excited to see him in person. The sculpt looks really good, especially his spine looks impressive.
