That looks awesome.
I like the tilted slightly Drop Pod.

Also those black lines on the mildly weathered Civic Defence Droppie 1.5 looks pretty sweet.
Have to see how it is in hand but it looks great in this pic.

But yeah, all things considered these are fantastic, and give me hope for more awesome bot releases in ThreeA's future.

This is nice to hear. Now ThreeA just needs to release them in some nice colorways, preferably classic ones, and I'm jumping right back in.

The guns do have colored highlights to match each member (which was not seen in the promo pics). Other than that they're all nice and identical - super formal just like a boring, government building Very Happy

Man I love these guys!

FUCK YES!

Got my COMMANDER BRAMBLE today! Laughing

This guy is so damn awesome, seriously. Even the box for this guy is badass, really nice work all around. I've never had a Bramble in 1/6th scale and this is by far one of my favorite WWR bots. The paint and weathering is perfect and all the joints are nice and tight! He's got pistols the size of cats and big fists for punching the ever-loving shit out of anyone and anything that looks at him funny.

Christ it's been a while since I got a real war machine like this one - I don't care if they don't sell as well as those fucking barbies, shit like this is why ThreeA is the best damned toy company on the planet!

...

So yeah, basically I think they did a really good job with this one. Wink

Got to work today and my civic dropcloth guard was there! Must have come in yesterday or the day before when I was off! Box is huge and is maked with a number 2 so I guess I got #2, lol. Can't wait to open him.

#2 has the yellow highlights and the word Peace on one of his shields.

Lovely bot! Too awesome. The Guards give off a Stormtrooper vide for me.

Also gotta say I'm team no cloth.

did they come equipped with grenades or are those from snow panda? Seriously reconsidering these guys only because I've always wanted a ver 1.5 DC.

Great pics Grish, I see I have to readjust the belt.

I am surprised to notice I am team no cloth as well.
Where as the earlier releases looked uncomfortable naked without the cloth.
It really works with the Civic Defence colorway.

Love that trooper vibe you're speaking of.
Finally this robot comes out of the shadow of the original Dropcloth (Mk1).

Only regret, Maybe I should have chosen a regular H/S Civic Defence Dropcloth 1.5 Guard instead of the Commander. Smile

Yeah, I was surprised how well they look without the cloths in-hand. I think I'm only going to equip the Commander with his, just to make him a little more special and to make the others look more expendable. Wink

I love the original Dropcloths as well as version 1.5. But these white colorways just don't do it for me. No denying the execution is great but I just feel this wave of Dropcloths could have been so much better. Looking forward to more pics of the 1/6th Bramble though!

I'm not a fan of the SOTF line in general, it just doesn't fit into the established WWR universe that I've collected and love. Kind of hoping Ash loses interest in it LOL.

+1

doesnt give me the WWR feels, so far nada im compelled to buy and stroke my WWR boner to. all seem so out of place so far, beyond the fact they are suppose to be clean like that bramble IMO looks off somehow, reminds me of a mass produced toy, rather than a collectors piece we use to see. dunno hard to explain i guess. "phoned in" i think would be an accurate description i feel when seeing them.

Great photos, Grish!

These would go great with the original weathered Second Day Heavy Bramble Mk 3 or DW Harold.

I like it. It's new, it's interesting, it's not the old WWR and that's fine with me. I've made the comparison before, but the old WWR is like WWII, the new WWR is like WWIII - it's something familiar, yet completely different. Old World tech meets New World thinking. Reminds me of a certain franchise I used to know, what was it again...

Imagine a ModChip set of 6 DCs in correlation with SOTF.

Cdr - reject
CALM - surge
PEACE - war
ORDER - chaos
SECURE - weaken
CONTROL - anarchy

Most of the lettering in a graffiti style cursive, and more grungy classic paint apps.

Count me in for an Anarchy Dropcloth with a big A sprayed across his chest. Awesome idea plus they could reuse the pod idea too.

i think i drew a anarchy(with the A on chest) droppy in fan art for Caesar 1/12 drop when i got the emgy. imagined that crooks would reprogram DC's and run wild with them until the emgy crew show up with a Caesar. Twisted Evil
