Mortis Mobile Infantry Dresden Frau V.1
Just saw these lovely painting on Ash`s Insta
https://www.instagram.com/p/BCxKyXnzOwe/?taken-by=ashleywoodart
Could this be the Boxart for these freakin cool figures, that were shown at the latest 3A shows?
http://static1.squarespace.com/static/52804262e4b0eb00f525cf3a/5677ba8bbfe87322f1597a7f/5677bb69bfe87322f1597e2a/1450687356247/1_DSC_6609_1.jpg?format=500w
Love that design and concept and can`t wait for them to drop!
I would love to see a dirty weathered Version to match with my Squads....
(but please not that month, i already preorderd the AGO Squares and finally finally finally scorred the MK3 Dutch Merc Bertie
for a super fair price from a super nice UK based seller! )

Wave 1 invites us for a deadly Dresden dance on April 28th
http://www.worldofthreea.com/threea-production-blog/m7xmhztw893pl628rlsrpz8p7yb3ex
Damn, i want all 3 of these deadly Ladies, but end of the month and the hefty prictag of 160$ is hard to swallow...
But i need at least pink Lollistick for my Hoaxer 1 pinky bot crew!

Re: Mortis Mobile Infantry Dresden Frau V.1
Is it me or do these look odd to be the villains who fight against the tomorrow kings? They certainly are interesting but I see badbot and tk Hunter more of a fit visually but honestly I could see these half machine gun chicks be like guard dogs for the Mortis queen when she gets revealed.
Re: Mortis Mobile Infantry Dresden Frau V.1
Personally, the freakin visual aesthetic of these are just mindblowing!
But in "real combat" (i`m not familiar with AK or Popbot, so i mix cool figures i like, with my WWR anyway),
i can imagine this "gunny hill" searching ruins, to track down hidden enemies (at first you hear the sound of the high heels...klick-klock-klick-klock....and when they find you....the head turns and....ratatatatata.... ) so these are similar how i feel about smaller bots like Dropcloths, which have more a "urban warfare" or "house to house fighting" Commandos vibe to me...Hunter is of course another enemy for the TKs i think...big-raw and brutal!

Re: Mortis Mobile Infantry Dresden Frau V.1
I wish these would be 20-30$ cheaper, as these are "half figures" with an gatling...but sadly, too cool to pass....but damn...160$ without AA....
(my clever plan was to get Von on the aftermarket...yay.... )
Hopefully the "hand thingis" (didn`t know the english word atm) on the back are removable, as i like them more as an independet killing unit...

Re: Mortis Mobile Infantry Dresden Frau V.1
Would love to get one of these, if only for the absolutely bonkers concept (I envy Ash's imagination). It doesn't have to make any kind of sense whatsoever to still be visually appealing. Talk about a conversation piece!
Price is the only stumbling block for me. It would be a no-brainer at $120. $160 is awful steep considering it's really half a figure with no clothing or accessories to add to the cost. Plus, I'd be getting beat up twice with the shitty Canadian dollar.
Of the three, Woodlands is my favorite.

With the current dollar/euro conversion I'm out. Very nice design, any colour would be a great addition but gotts ta pass.

Yeah, 120$ would a perfect pricing and should benefits the sale for sure (Nabler Guys anyone?), i paid likely the same for 10! Ago Squares with my latest Bamba purchase, and speaking for me, i would order two Dresden Ladies in a heartbeat...but for now i don`t know, if i can justify 160$... because if i do = i surely feel stupid for doing so....

You and me both, fluppeco. This is the first thing from 3A this year I'm remotely excited about. But that price....even with the discount it's too damn high. Shameful, really.

Re: Mortis Mobile Infantry Dresden Frau V.1
I'm not sure bow pricing gets calculated by threeA, but $160 for essentially half of a figure + an accessory seems totally bonkers.
Anyone else getting the feeling those ammunition belts are going to fall right out of the gun once in-hand?

Like you I find ridiculous the price of USD 160. At that price rather offer a sale for 2 figures in a single package.

Re: Mortis Mobile Infantry Dresden Frau V.1
Very excited and surprised to finally see these.
The first real Mortis figure.
Okay, the bottom half of it.
Pretty happy with the legs.
I feared they would get the less bendable Lasstranaut-like legs.
Definitely getting one.
Probably just Woodlands Frau, although the mostly black Licorice Assaulta (what a name) tastes interesting as well.

Re: Mortis Mobile Infantry Dresden Frau V.1
Can somebody confirm if the legs are from the 1/3 female bodies. That would somewhat explain a premium price, but still it feels too much, at 120 I'd probably bite if it's from the 1/3 bodies...

Re: Mortis Mobile Infantry Dresden Frau V.1
$160 is CRAZY expensive for that figure. I would pay that price IF it included whomever is supposed to man that gun otherwise thats WAAAAAAAAY to much for a kitbash figure.
Also, I purchased figures in the past with the hopes of getting their complimentary piece, *cough* King Thumb chopper *cough* which never came to be...so i am very hesitant to buy this with the fear that we will never get the fig that's supposed to man that gun.

I quite like the concept, the execution isn't something i'd buy as it looks to kitbashed and honestly, I wouldn't have thought it would be more than $80-$100.

Re: Mortis Mobile Infantry Dresden Frau V.1
^^good question! the first mortis in toy form is the severed bot head with the OG Tk's, first full figure would have been the interloper, original. i think.
