During SDCC...

Wonder what the venue will be.

Was hoping for a Seattle Venture cause of our pets, but a short San Diego visit should be doable. Can't wait to see the full artist line-up.

Hrm. Will need to think on this. SD at that time of year? Not the easiest to get rooms nearby. Worse comes to worse, we might stay out of town and drive/shuttle into the area for a show visit one day. Will have to discuss with the Mrs.

Would be different if we were going to be at SDCC as well, but again, not exactly easy to get into if you've been out of the loop for a while.

Wow,..... sure it was always an option but I didn't truly think it would end up happening in S.D. --- during SDCC is good and tough at the same time.
If there is a no interest in SDCC, I'd deeeeefinitely recommend staying outside of the Comic-Con perimeter. Regardless of where it ends up happening, you can get to practically anywhere in San Diego, from anywhere in San Diego, in practically 30min.

They better have tight security, I told Gimbat years ago that I'd just have to try to kidnap the 1:1 Dropcloth if I ever saw one in person! (j/k, unless someone is down to help[again, j/k])

Show will be in the Gaslamp near the convention center. More details to follow and line up announcements closer to the date

Might be some Airbnbs in Downtown, Coronado, Little Italy, Banker's Hill, Golden Hill or Hillcrest worth looking into if people are traveling in groups or looking to share a spot as hotels can be hard to come by. North Park is close-ish to downtown, but will be a $20+ cab/uber give or take.

Hotel Circle hotels all have shuttles that can take you to the convention center all during SDCC.

We'll have a small display at the booth. Looking like well have the same location as this last year's booth.

There's a chance we might be split the booth with Threezero. Too soon to say though

Nice. Hope to see your awesome setup! Hints at what lines plan on featuring? TK sound for sure but any AK or WWR or something we haven't seen yet in new line?

Oh I can't share any details like that. It's Venture and like previous Venture's it will be epic and fun for those that attend

Now I just need to figure out if I can afford a place to stay and plane tickets for my family.

So hyped I can make this one. SDCC is a bloody media flooded mess and I'm stoked there's a 3A event in California not tacked on to it.

Hotel has been booked.  Cheaper to get a hotel in La Jolla and rent a car for a few days, then get something downtown.  Plus...the beach!

Just need to book flights!

Parking where? At the gallery? Im saving several hundred dollars so if it means spending $20 for an evening to park, it won't be the worse thing.

We'll have our car as well, but will probably be using the trolley from our airbnb in La Mesa since it's along the line.  Parking in the Gaslamp is rough but it can be done, you may want to follow: https://www.aceparking.com/comic-con/ for the parking lottery in March.
