maybe it was williams best's first creation? not as refined as mars and co. or maybe it looks like that for a reason, so it can take more damage, the bruiser of the WBR squad?

word Jessie does have that oldschool scifi movie look.

prefer mars and co and still think im dumb for passing on mars. Embarassed

The shoulders look like they came from TK Hunter. Clamps from Ankou was it? Head looks way to high up. Like he's come kind of mongo. Not trying to be a dick. Mars and co. were the tits. This is just a mish-mash. Something like a samurai helmet or something would have been closer to the Shogun Warriors. Hope this doesn't kill the line. Sad

I want to love it. I so badly really really do. The first release was such a home run. I've been so excited. And ...it's just not growing on me yet.
Maybe the paints will win me over?

Just fucking around. Couldn't come up with a combo that I really liked, so I went traditional primary red and blue... I'm sure 3As has gotta be better. Plus, decals. Love the torso but biggest struggle is that head....  :/

Also if anyone else wants to take a whack...

Yeah, it's ...odd. To me he almost has the feel of a kaiju/anime monster villain rather than a bot/mech. When I was messing with it I was wondering did anyone notice the Ankou/Nabler like eye in there? Adds to the silly factor I guess. I'll probably take another whack at the colors.

If there were a team of 3 robots..and two of them were the cool robots, and then there was that 3rd guy that always showed up but never really did anything....this is that guy.

Not a fan of the protruding belly-button; it just doesn't fit. He almost seems like a villain rather than teammate to MARS IMO.

Has anyone heard when William Best is supposed to be released? Ash mentioned he was next in line before Squidicorn. Is he considered in the 2nd wave of 3AGO figures?

William Best - most likely 3AGO wave 3 or his own separate release

If I could do photo-manip, I would cut the torso (the blue part in the color mock up) in half and drop it down so that the shoulders made sense. I'd also take out the belly-belt part. I'd probably also loos the hunchback on the sides of the head. Just me though.

I might be one of the few who actually likes Saturn... never liked Mars, too angular.

Saturn however, i like his bulbous shape and wacky proportions, his claws and mono-eye.

I think he looks like something out of a Scifi B-movie or wind-up tin robot toy from the 50's. Something like the robot version of this guy:

Yeah I dig Saturn a lot. I can totally see that bot fighting a giant rubbery squid in a dinky miniature city.
