Jumped on this one - couldn't resist the weathering.

I have a Mk3b and have wanted an 'a' for a couple of years, I was unable to decide on the colour way until now.

Reminds me of early 3A weathering - a similar finish to the Dutch mercy Mk2 or the Nero Merc Bramble.

Awesome

I assume 7 is Bot Sniper

5 characters left
Wonder how these will be distributed between the 3 remaining releases.

Glad to see a DLM in there. Not that thrilled about the human sniper but I'm guessing he'll form one of the two-packs, maybe with the Mk2 Bertie?

It was announced a long time while ago the Shitty Nine would consist of Robots and Human members.
Forgot about that info as well but came across it in the last couple of days.
[edit: even better with quotes]

Sunday Q+A 46 - 2015.01.11
Q: Any military manhunter (spec ops) Terran units designated to react to threats like Nom de Plume or other heavy hitters? Would love to see a Spec Ops grunt for SOTF.
A: The Shitty9 is a group out together to combat the NOM, but yea, as the NOM become a bigger threat to the Earth league, the response is always bigger and heavy weapons, that includes soldiers as well!

I expected Von de Plume would be one of the Shitty 9.

that sniper bot would be the first sniper bot in 1/12 form...

my guess:
- Caesar & bertie mk2
- Armstrong & Sniper Bot
- DLM

surprise there's no square....

Agreed I actually expected a square instead of a Damn Large Martin.
Especially since they'll have to fold 5 characters into 3 releases.
150505_3A - H3ADLINES_008
Q: In regards to the new Shitty9 group, will each toy release through Goodsmile represent a group member of the Shitty9? If this is so, and since you only mentioned six months worth of releases, are the last three members going to be on Bambaland?
Ash: Each release is a member and yes the 6 releases will cover the 9, the next set is a Dropcloth two pack, so 3 members over two releases!

Just a quick question. Why did 3A choose to go through Goodsmile for this series? With several releases, it would have been great to use the membership discount.

Good Smile are 3A's Japanese partners and distributors. They are massively supportive and arrange for a lot of unique and amazing opportunities.

The Exclusives are in conjunction with Good Smile and Hobby Japan Magazine, so each release is meant to coincide with the new comic strip

I love this series, but dislike the scale. But I may convert for a small collection, the story behind each character is rich with detail and the overall feel seems like the old WWR brought back to life.

I like the Shitty 9 so far, both design and story wise. Won't be collecting them because money!

Only complaint is... why not include each comic installment with its respective bot release?

Can't wait to see what the Armstrong and DLM look like. I have a special love for those models (well, LM more than DLM, but doesn't matter).

Wonder if the Armstrong will be 1G or 0G.

Sorry this is grinding my gears to much.

It is not a sniper bot but a bot sniper. It is not a robot that snipes but a human that snipes bots. Two very different things.

Back on topic. The Shitty 9 looks like a very colorful group. I'm interested to see how the rest of them turn out.

this. hoping for a similar style bamba approach after this, comic on blog and corresponding figs on bamba. so we can use our 3AA discount and all.

i get why its happening with goodsmile and the comic on hobby japan, i get that. very cool for Ash. but as a 3AA member cant help feelin a lil left out in the cold. oh well. money saved i guess, but yeah a similar thing for bamba would be good.

Hey guys, can we talk about the Shitty 9 series? I see this line as being kind of a "best of" or a "starter set" it's great that you get a variety of bots in a wide range of colors! They're all heavy hitters too! There are no squares padding out this elite fighting force!

I'll admit it. I'm a bit disappointed about the RPU Dropcloths. When I first saw them I thought they were great, but when you see that the entire rest of the team are different units having a second Dropcloth seems redundant. I would have really liked to have a Grunt instead. I mean they're about the same size and have similar armaments, and this way there would be two human members of the Shitty 9. Being the only human in the group, I feel like the Bot Sniper is there to meet some diversity quota.

I consider each WWR figure to be a distinct individual. The RPU Dropcloths are the perfect example of this. As you may know most colorways will feature only one version of a particular bot type, but here we've got two Dropcloths with unique detailing to show that they are in fact specific bots within the same faction!

I know it'll probably never happen but I'm hoping this line expands beyond the Shitty 9 members themselves. We'll at least get a Von De Plume at some point, right? Perhaps a 1/6 3AA Super Set?

I have similar sentiments, having two identical members is a waste, especially since this team has no Bramble or Squares. The Human member is also a little disappointing, though I will be interested in seeing a bot sniper in 1/12th scale. I hope Von de Plume gets a proper 1/6th release, way too good of a character to not make in full-sized detail. Wink

That's funny,
After reading vincejustvince and Argentix posts,
the more I think about it, the more I like the inclusion of the RPU Dropcloth twins (comic relieve) and the fact Ashley dropped an einzelgänger human botsniper in the Shitty 9 mix.

Classic ABC Warriors The Meknificent Seven or other band of misfits stuff.

I even start to fancy the inclusion of that Damn Large Martin.

I do wonder where if and when Von de Plume will be included in this small collection.
And yes, a 1:6th Von de Plume maybe together with the Bertie Mk2 in a two pack would be cool.
