Look at photo here.  Second from left is a transparent version original custard.  Guess they are making the Circle of Labs variants ?

Received Ms Shadow almost two weeks ago but have been far too immersed in work to post. Haven't even had time to open it but was planning to this weekend because I've a sizeable stack of unopened 3A boxes.

I still haven't made up my mind whether I really like Ms. Shadow and should try to buy her or rather not.
So I am looking forward to read what you think about her.

I find if you're not sure about a figure, it's best to wait and either nurture that desire or let the out of site out of mind factor take into effect.

I totally agree but in my experience there is 'the right time' for buying a figure (on the aftermarket) and if you miss that, it might either get very scarce or very expensive...
Now seems to be 'the right time' for Ms. Shadow.

On the other hand there will be released so many cool new figures at Bambaland this month and in july, that I can't have all I would like to have anyways.
So I guess I will just try to enjoy picking the ones I like best...

From the pictures I've seen, I don't think she's worth buying. Of course I don't know what your taste is like. But I've been collecting 3A female figures from the start and well Ms. Shadow in my opinion just doesn't have any visual longevity if you will or for that matter any visual congruence with the rest of the AK figures produced so far.

Ms. Shadow seems to fall a little short to me as well. For the mother who lives in a post apocalyptic world killing zombies and monsters I was expecting more of a bleak mission bad ass look vs a Egyptian mummy queen. Maybe that's the interesting thing about Advenure kartel. Is it more walking dead reality or is it scooby-do adventures. What's the tone? Feels a bit of both in my opinion.

I was led to believe that Ms. Shadow would have a "chunky" body. That looks like the same female body that 99% of 3A dolls have! Where's the extra thickness? IT'S A COOKBOOK!

I my opinion Ms. Shadow doesn't have too much Adventure Kartel vibe simply because she isn't all weathered and dirty.
She might look great next to Penumbra though and of course I get that she is supposed to look just like she does.
And I am tempted to get this figure, that's for sure.

We need a new Adventure Kartel comic that includes the story of the Shadow family, that is what I think!
And make that a big hardcover again, just like the first one.
