Is this the first time they've mentioned the 5% cancellation fee?

From the store page:

"As we make out toys to order, cancellation will incur a 5% fee."

That's new...

I was unaware the CAD value had dropped that much. I remember it going back and forth with the USD.

Folks have mentioned getting a cancelation fee before, but it's the first time they've put it on a listing from what I've noticed.  By the way, this is a limited time sale as mentioned on the blog if anyone was wondering.
Hmm.  I think I'm going to have to pass on this set, though it is a nice looking set.  I've just spent too much on other figures lately. Ah, well.

nan it dropped 30%.

one of the first reason oil price drop.

the same reason why Russia economy is strogeling.

its a good time to sell tho i made 2.5k on old stuff, 40% profit.

I think it comes about bcos someone mention tt they want to bring the case to their consumer association of paying 5% admin fee when product was not rcv on stated date. So for organisation it is better to put up front a cancellation fee notification such that u purchase with this knowledge and cannot bring up the case with consumer association of unfair pratices when u cancel the purchase even if it did not ship within stated period

The AUD is about as equal as the CAD when compared to the USD. I always go to xe.com to track it all. EUR and GBP have gone down as well, which I won't lie, I benefit from that one, but I understand it's a bummer for those who use it.

That's what I figured. They say warnings are written in blood so I guess you can say the fine print is written in money.

I wouldn't doubt it if people cancelled and wanted to full refunds since no where has it been stated there was a fee. So up until this set, you can most likely fight it and win, depending on how far you want to go with it.

Yeah it makes sense to have a cancellation fee. Kinda a bitter pill to swallow if you're cancelling due to epic delays though. This set says Q1 which seems pretty optimistic to me these days...

I imagine production has kept going though from when they made them for the Venture. So the delivery seems highly likely.

i'm sure that ash stated that an item can be cancelled with a full refund if it has missed it's estimated/predicted delivery date. i think that they are putting it in the product description now to help them deal with the seemingly increasing number of cancellations due to lateness. :/
