Panda Merc Shadow in FL today . . . And I love her.

No issues with the wrists at all, they move smoothly and seem solid (so far). The only issues being pretty weak at the upper arm swivels (esp. right) and the shoulders (esp. left) . . . Neither side wants to hold her arms up very well. But at least I did get a lefty and a righty.

As far as the 10" body . . . I love it. I think it suits her character perfectly. She's sexy and cool. And little.

I'm sorry that so many people have had issues with the wrists and I hope CS works it out for everyone, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't crazy about her . . . That red hair, and who could resist that face . . . ♥

Opened my panda.  Front hair scuffed.  Both arms super loose all joints.  Can't make her stand with backpack on.  But she is super cute and I love  the orange panda suit.  Wrists seem okay.

I found the panda can be a bit tricky to balance, but on certain angles the tail is rigid enough to prop her up.

@ print66:

Yeah, that's pretty . . . Terrible. I've got a Little Shadow V2 on the way as well, and that may be where I get stung.

There's no way that isn't a CS replacement head for the girl, (along with the hand). That has to be taken care of . . .

I changed the hands on my 10" Meta Popbot No Rabbit Tamer, feel lucky wrist pegs did snap. Was super careful as thought wrists were weak point.

So your wrist pegs did snap? And you changed them out, how? Just curious and it would probably help a lot of people.

What'd be a good replacement for the wrist pegs anyway. Anything metal with a simmilar width that maybe could be given a ball with apoxie?

Playing with my Panda yesterday and the left hand broke from the wrist. Sad Mad
Would have preferred a ball jointed wrist peg but I doubt with her arms being so small that may not work.
Time to contact CS.

I would recommend all who even mess with the the hands without breaking:
1) first take a hair drier for 30sec on high to loosen the joint.
2) Carefully remove the hand form peg
3) with a Q-Tip and Hot water remove the weathering from the peg and inside each hand socket hole.
4) Place hand back on peg and you will notice that it has less change of snapping on subtle movement.

Its not a fix to the poor design but a slight preventative from breaking. Metal Pegs is what it really needs!

Yes, that would have been the right move for something this delicate.

Thanks . . . I've got just one more to post and then no more love notes to Little Shadow from me.

Received my Little Shadow V2 yesterday but did not have a chance to open it until today. Left wrist peg came broken, same problem as many others out there. Also, I saw on page 7 of this thread that Print66 had some issues with the paint on Shadow's head, think I might have a similar issue. Took a few pics, what do you think, same problem?

Going to conact CS and see if they can help me out.

Looks scraped, but not anything that looks terrible from here. Might be different on your end.

I wasn't sure if it was anything worth contacting CS over, but I did mention it in the email I sent about the wrist pegs along with the photos, so I'll see what happens I guess.

Brilliant photo, Mouse9090. Really great.

And thumbtack, I have to say that's a tough call. I mean the lack of paint coverage on my V2 Little Shadow is more subtle, like on the underside of locks of hair and it doesn't really bother me. But if there was something obvious up front I could feel differently.

I don't think the scuffing I would worry about on a weathered figure too much. Mine has fairly similar marks and I don't think they look bad at all.

Still, as you say, you mentioned it to CS, and if it really bothers you it won't kill them if you mention it twice. You paid for that figure and you have a right to be happy with it.

Mine has very similar weathering on the hair, appears to me as intended for the look.

Definitely email CS if it bothers you, ask if they have a cleaner looking head for replacement, but I have a feeling a replacement head/hair will look pretty similar.
