Gregory, keep in mind, this Prime has big shoes to fill. 3A DOTM Prime is 100% my all time fav Prime, so this one better come close or better. Like, I don't have words to express how much I love DOTM Prime

He's smaller, just shy off the ultimetal methinks. I decided a while a go I wouldn't support anything Bay-verse, but that size is awesome.

How long is he going to be up for? I don't get paid till Tuesday, and as usual struggle with a few other things in line. And the fact I'm trying to slow down on toys in general, which was another reason I chose not to get 3AA. This looks awesome though. What else has 3A or Threezero done with diecast, is it your first time? And outta curiosity, obviously I simply couldn't you guys having surprise Ultra/Nemesis drops, lol?

Might cave on the movie on cheap night though...

When Threezero  started out they were one of the first companies out there doing diecast accessories in the designer toy world.

G1 Optimus Prime is ThreeA's first foray with diecast. We'll be using it in some capacity on all the G1 series. We'll keep Optimus up in Bambaland for a while. Just the classic edition for now, gotta see what the interest and support is like.

Ultra Magnus and Nemesis Prime will happen later this year if all goes well. We're spreading out the releases as we recognize they are expensive and understand fans may not be able to afford all three dropping once. Some variants will become retailer exclusives. News on that closer to their PO.

The feet, the majority of the legs including back of legs, some of the detailing in the hips/torso. Has a really nice heft to him

You guys did an amazing job on the engineering from what I see. The amount of posability you got into him is great. I really love the entire sculpt for the type of figure it is (non-transformable). It's bang on, and clearly a labor of love for everyone involved.

Really looking forward to Megatron!

I know I should be cutting back on my addiction to toys... but I had to p/o this Prime. Deposit program makes it a little easier to swallow with the 3aa discount.

I love threea and I hate it too... anyways, looking forward to Megatron...

Dang..the movement on the torso really surprised me! It was a bit wobbly..but im sure tolerances will be adjusted. Fantastic work to Curtis and everyone involved.

My chinese is a bit rusty but here is what I got from the video. (anyone from 3A feel free to correct me)

-1st 3A toy to have die-cast.
-when the eyes and matrix are lit up and you take the matrix out, there is no light coming from the body...light source is in the matrix!
-autobot logo on the arm is turned on by the smoke stack.
-wrist joints move in and out to avoid rubbing between hands and arm.
-gun hand has a clip to help with holding the gun in place.
-arm, leg and torso joints are a new design?

It all looks good to me!

Will the final product paintwork be similar to dotm prime, or metallic looking like the proto shown in the video review?

Uses a similar metallic paint as DOTM Prime, but has a heavier weathering wash over it
