Mortis will be up for at least 6 weeks.

Fear will be coming down soon. We gave more time due to requests.

Oh Fear was on preorder the moment he hit. I just have a big purchase from Sideshow for Iron Giant (coming within 2 weeks) and I sold stuff to pay for it so I was curious about this Leap Day thing, if it is in fact a real deal (extra hands) for today only. Then I may have to jump on this sale.

I guess I'm confused what you mean by the Leap Day thing. All Mortis come with the extra sets of hands.

Sale just happens to begin on Leap Day.

Someone made it sound like extra hands only on Leap Day so I misread it. That means I don't have to rush to buy one just yet. Couple weeks I can

Great out of the package. Nice work Gregory et al. Joints are good n stiff, took some working. I dig the neck articulation at the chest and head and the fact the flesh inside the rips on his suit looks decayed. My only gripe is that his suit is a slightly, but noticeably different colour to Deaths and with fear in black, it'll be a mismatched group. They all should have been in black, in my opinion.

My Mortis wrist broke when I was trying to swap it out, with minimal effort. Bummer. I'll contact CS.

Any ideas on this? It's so small and I don't want to do any further damage.
Still waiting on CS to get back to me.

same here. just got my mortis from bbts.com, and both of my wrist pegs broke -- first one as eye tried to pop a new hand on, and the second as eye tried to pull the original hand off. eye am very careful with my toys, and have had no problems with any of my other 3a figures. eye used very little pressure, so eye feel that the pegs were much weaker than, for example, death's.

gregory, will customer service replace my wrist pegs even though he was purchased through bbts? eye doubt they will want to replace a figure that eye broke myself.

thinking of getting a loose death for his wrist pegs since eye think they may be stronger. anyone else feel that these pegs are more fragile?

I'd start emailing BBTS and CS, hopefully one of them will come through.

Definitely email BBTS about it. If they have a replacement in stock, they'll send. If they don't they contact our CS to get the parts

Im actually on my second Mortis and both have had the same issue. Im thinking of looking online for a replacement for the piece does anyone have a recommendation for where to look? I dont want to wait another 3 months for a new replacement.

I had the same problem with mine and Fear and asked for replacement pegs a few months ago but haven't been sent anything. In the end a made up some pegs out about steel ball and socket joints used for stop motion puppets and although I had to drill out the stem of the peg that had snapped off it the figures forearm it ended up working out well. The wrist joints on mine are now much stronger than the ones supplied but I really think that this shouldn't have been a problem when a figure comes with multiple hands. The whole point is that you're supposed to be able to change the various hand poses with ease and not stick with what's been put on the the figure originally for fear of it breaking.

These are truly fantastic looking figures but the build quality really does need to be made a bit better so they don't fall apart so easily. I do prefer the look of this Dredd/2000AD line to anything else out there like Mezco but Mezco do make more durable figures. Hopefully this can be sorted out for future releases and maybe this smaller scale just can't be built well enough to change parts around easily. I've never owned any of the 6th scale figures from 3A so I'm hoping there won't be any similar problems with my 6th scale Dredd once he arrives.
