Ankou EX

Hope we would see a Ankou EX V2 down the road.
My favorite fatty in the collection: C.O.S.D

I wish they'd make them more playable/posable.  As they are they only seem good standing.  The only one I have left is in storage for potential custom use.  I hope the Mega Zomb is not just a zomb head on this type of unposable body. And I hope it isn't the Strigoi body either.  I always feel like I'm handling a baby doll when I'm handling these Ankou EX bodies.

Don't see why they can't, as there were already improvements to the AP version.
All they need to do is throw in arm and thigh swivels and the poseability difference would be night and day.
Of course it wouldn't hurt if they step up a notch

Is removing the jumpsuit a straight-forward task?

I picked up a brand new Thruxton Dirty Swine variant last week whose left leg seems to be seized up at the pelvis, so I want to get a better look at what the cause is.

Well it may take you some time on the first go...

- pop off the back exhaust pipe
- unscrew the palm screws just enough so the hands can be removed
- bend arms toward lower back, this will allow more room to pull the suit down
- feet removal required if you want the entire suit off, heat up the foot socket area and it will pop off easily. (Word of caution here, 3A sometimes put powder in the foot socket to build more friction. You may end up scattering those powder everywhere if not careful)

Thanks for the tips - I'll try just moving everything down without removing the feet, hopefully that will be enough to try and fix the leg.

No idea what type of glue was used on the exhaust pipe of the Pink SXCLB bots but I've had no luck removing the pipe from either of them. The RVHK SXCLB pipe pops off and on easily but no such luck with the Pinkies. Tried heat from hairdryer, heating pad and even left them in a hot car for 8 hours on a hot summer day—everything else softened/became flexible up but the pipes remained firmly locked in place.

Found a perfect scale Desert Eagle & Grenade, now he fits in nicely with the WWR crew.

I wish I knew myself, got it in a tourist shop on holidays, don't know who makes it or even what scale it is. It came in a clamshell with a leather holster but I left the packaging behind. They also had 1/6 assault rifles and fantasy swords in different scales. It's all metal & great detail, it's pretty much the same size as Caesar's handgun.

He basically does have the 1/6 Caesar hands they are practically the same mold.  I myself have been holding out to see if someone has one for sale because I too feel he is bare without some kind of weapon

^ Maybe give him a bot sniper weapon. Caesar's rifle should fit well, his hands being the same as Caesar's, but it would look puny in contrast with his huge body. If AnkouEX ever needs a gun, it has to be a big one.

But i like to think EX is large enough to NOT need a gun, prefers crushing enemies with his bare hands.

We need the WWR weapon pack to arm our Ankou-EXxes

Without weapons he's AK but as soon as he picks up something he sidesteps into WWR territory, he does in my collection anyway.

Still, I really wished we were able to pick up a couple of Bertie SMRTGUNs or some sort of Weapon pack.

We've been asking for weapons packs for ages now. Even just plain weathered black like Gravedigger would suit any faction. Or maybe give a Desert, Winter or Emgy option. Emgy smart gun would go well with Dirty Thruxton.
A Caesar Smartgun, Bertie Mk3 shotgun, large pistol, Bertie Gatling gun would be a nice large weapons pack.
After that a 1/6 pack and maybe throw in some crates or mines etc.

Either of you have a bot sniper rifle? I always thought they would look good holding that.

Does anyone have the weathered "Thruxton" ankou? Would love to see some picks of that beast!

I have Laurent & C.O.S.D. and they both look great. I prefer the hands as opposed to the claws. C.O.S.D. fits perfectly with Jea. They are very big and imposing in 1/6.
