F5 bars proven to be very quiet on this forum, so until we will have more action here, I think it makes sense to F5 right in the threads...like in good old days Smile

Did you go for anything else too? Lonely TQs, 2pack or perhaps 24"?

I actually almost would of bought something from 3A this year, but wowwwww. $140/$119??? Sorry, love zombkin, but not that much

OG Zombkin was $130/$110 and that came with a 1/12th too. AND that was when we didn't have to worry about floppy bodies. But I'm sure shipping and material costs have gone up......

Very tempted to get the pumpkin, however since I have not start with this series I shall hold back the temptation.

Anyway have spent a large chunk of funds early morning with the battle pack.

Gimbal Any hints whether Ash will drop a white n black lonely star warrior.

Angry is pricy...wish they would just sell the head...I know I wanted one but 140/119 is steep for a basic figure with no accessories ( basically new head and shirt)...I like the look but the price is no bueno...I know the folks in Japan paid 120 but they also walked out of the building with it in hand- we pay the same and must wait 6-8 months for him to show...might wait til he floods the bay...

Glad there was a Halloween AK but passing. Just can't justify $140 for re-hash figure anymore. Fingers still crossed there will be something NEW before next ThreeAA for AK (or 3AGO).

I passed on this. I agree with Miracle bubbles can't justify the price for a re-hash. And with the Canadian exchange its well over $160 for me. It's a sad day when i gotta pass on an AK fig.

because it's actually a $120 figure.

they gotta take 3AA memberships into account and add ~15% to the cost of everything.

it's more like why expensive because the last zombkin to be sold that I know about, ghost head zombkin. Was sold for 115 and 97.75 with discount, 2 yrs later that cost with the same clothes but different decal on shirt and different head is now $140.

It's $40 too expensive. If it had a 1/12 or a 3AGO it would justify that price. Figure would be easier bought at $100 as is. I really wanted this version too. AK and DD is all I've been focusing now with threea.

Actually it is shipping.
And the figure was US$120 during Japan Venture.
Add international shipping and it's US$140.
But I have to agree price is a tat steep compared to earlier Zombkin releases.

No go for me since I already ordered an unplanned Lonely Dark Lady TQ and I am happy with the Zombkins I have.
(I think I even have 2 still sealed in their brown shippers)

The high US$ sucks most of the oxygen out of this hobby.
I have to skip 1 out of 3-5 toys I would have purchased about 1.5 years ago.
Angry Zombkin would be € 112 after 3AA, etc. That would have been € 88 said 1.5 years ago, that's a lot.
So I have to choose wisely.

For me it's the Euro/dollar exchange rate that is pretty much putting a halt on all my 3a shopping. I don't like the Zomkin as much as most other people, I have the original 1/6 & 1/12 as well as Charfoot but at the moment it's just gotta be WWR for now, no 1/12 or 3ago just the big bad 1/6 which brings me nicely to my big question, when will we see DD4?

For regular retail I do agree it is a tad high in comparison to previous Zombkins but, isn't a lot of figures a bit higher now. Kind of what is becoming the norm lately. Considering they sold it as $120 at the con and you do have to add on shipping to that. Yeah sucks if you aren't 3AA but if you are a 3AA member you are paying a $1 less than at the con. Thats kind of a win for me but, I am a bit impartial since Zombkin is my favorite 3A figure they produce. I was going to pay around double (if not more haven't seen one for sale yet) for the Con exclusive if we didn't get that version of it lol. Not a lot you can do about exchange rates, I do feel you on that. When the Yen was really strong a few years ago it was about 50% more to import figures and it does suck. For me he was insta buy though.

If he priced out at around $100(98-105ish) he would have gotten carted, just cant buy another figure just because it has a new shirt or head sculpt...
It's also led me to think about all the items that have been promised/teased over the years that have yet to see the light of day( peppermint bot head for one)- I would rather get my long teased Bothead than a rehashed figure.im almost at the point of not wanting to support new items until some of the 'backlog' is addressed and or produced.i bought a peppermint set ONLY because it was promised that a bothead would be available to all who bought into the set- I'm still waiting...I don't think I can keep buying retreads until some old promises are kept.

Well past midnight and my hopes for a zombie pumpkin trick-or-treating in ghostface are gone, so I guess Halloween is pretty much over for this year.

I can't complain, I was hoping for a sourpuss Zombkin and I got him, but overall the entire holiday had a strangely dead, anti-climactic feeling to it.

I wonder if this is how Linus would feel if he ever actually met the Great Pumpkin . . .
