US$180 is incredible great news,
I feared the amount of pouches and other costs would push this figure over the US$200 mark.

Being a nitpicker and a bean counter but last Bertie MK2, the DDv2 #5, was US$190 not US$180.
linkie

I prefer the US$180 price point.

Best club.

Meh... medic isn't a colorway I collect regardless of the awesomely extra pouchy goodness... I thought the whole robot club was "NOT" going to be designed around past club iterations of qualifying purchases for some prize at the end of the rainbow type deal... Le sigh... I'd like DD's to certainly be a club then as I'm committed to acquire the full bakers dozen of those, be nice to get a free Nom at the end of that lengthy expenditure list.

I'm not hugely invested into Medic colourway but this guy will look great with my medic grunt & nurse square. Very happy with it and the $180 price. Love all the extra pouches and the extra details on the grenades. Instant classic, possibly could beat the DDs to the best Bertie... tough call though.

It's like the other clubs, you'll have to buy the wave of x amount of figures to qualify for the bonus item/figure, not a pick and choose kind of thing

No idea, I really liked TKlub and AKlub.
I don't care if they were successful or not, it was fun.

I was not a fan of all TKlub releases, but it generated a couple of iconic figures with pretty cool companion releases.
AKlub was a blast for me.

Now it's even better since I came to threeA for the robots.
There are a couple of lose ends this time around, regarding the pace, budgeting and the various universes it contains.
So I am mildly concerned.

Number One is a good start, though.

Sorry for the delay and change of subject but someone here asked where I got my net bag for DDs heads...
It's this, a stress ball type thing that looks weird when you squeeze it. I took it apart and used the net for a bag as seen below.

My $.02 on the whole club free figure thing - for TK club I bought figures I otherwise wouldn't have in order to qualify.  Ended up not qualifying anyway.  Not going down that road again.  This time I intend to only buy the bots I like, free figure or no.  If I don't qualify, so be it.

What I would really like to see ThreeA do is provide the option to purchase the figure they intend to give away to anyone who didn't qualify.  Win-win for both ThreeA and their customers.  Then we wouldn't feel any obligation to buy x number of figures or any obligation at all.  Just give us the choice to buy the figures we like without any hoop-jumping.  It's about building good relations with your customers instead of ill will.

It all hinges on what's at the end of the rainbowt. I would like to see what the prize will be and then i'll see if i'll join. Will sell off the bots I don't want to get it if need be.
If they show nothing except a description or a sketch i'll skip it and just buy the ones I like. I want to get Peppermint Grove and Bot head on Sunday but I don't want to spend more funds two days later on Nurse that I really don't want.

The more I look at it, the more I fall in love.

Even the huge Caduceus symbol in the middle of its face doesn't bother me too much.

Really happy to see 3A return to 1/6th WWR! Medic looks great in the blog pics! I haven't been tempted by anything 3A since the AP dredd line.

Will unfortunately be passing on this one, as I'm moving around atm. I'll be hoping for other Berties though! (Deep Powder return..)

I'm feeling the opposite.  It's so...busy.  There's so much going on visually, it almost hurts my eyes. At least I understand the "desert" reference now.  Never thought I'd be saying this, but I think I'll likely pass.  And I can happily live without a desert Strollbot.

I interpret that as saying it bothers you a little - it's what's kinda ruining it for me.  That and the mixing of two colorways.  Maybe it'll grow on me by the time the sale rolls around, but I doubt it.

Guess I'm just a sucker for the previous simpler, cleaner medics and was hoping for more of the same:

Do not forget the official denomination: 11th Battlefield RETCON (and not Medic Field Support). An idea for the name RETCON ?

Semantics.  Ash called it a Desert Medic Bertie when he first posted it on his instagram.  If anyone is the authority on such subjects, it would be him.

Anyway, as a fan of the medic colorway, no one is more surprised than me that I don't care for her.

And I'm just guessing here, but RETCON may be referring to the fact that this Bertie was formerly a Desert 11th bot whose function has been re-purposed into a Medic.
