Re: shipping schedule visualized
I think my 3A days are coming to a close. Probably not renewing this year.

Re: shipping schedule visualized
I have no horse in this race, my enthusiasm was crushed long ago, I just find it so sad that Ash can't see that the love people have/had for his designs is being killed by the shitty sales practices. I understand the desire to make the show as awesome as it can be but the amount of exclusives is ridiculous when there are so many people who have paid good money waiting for toys that are way overdue. To compound that pain with a massive clear-out sale that was meant for all... it's just baffling.

I also find my love for 3A waning.... Such a shame after so many years... Between QC nightmares and terrible delays, compounded with these weird sales tactics it just isn't "fun" to collect anymore.... I have my few preorders left and then a fond adieu.... Not that it will be noticed

Re: shipping schedule visualized
I like to stay positive generally and easy going... but it's been hard to keep the enthusiasm. ThreeA has had my support for years and I've loved the worlds that Ashley's created. This year has been kind of a drag... the waits have been particularly rough, that list of exclusives is unsettling, and it seems like our 3aa support is taken for granted. Or at least it's coming across that way. I also feel like it's getting harder to see what drew me to the company in the first place... toys that feel like they walked out of ashley's paintings, with grime and drips and layers of paint. A good solid wwr release would help things!

Re: shipping schedule visualized
Only thing I've seen in-hand pics of so far is the portable Bramble. No shipping notices for DD1, Ninja or Shadecaster for me off that list.
Re: shipping schedule visualized
Nise has started to land.
I don't think we should doubt them when they say something has shipped.
Plus still a few days to go and nobody expects something that ships in a month to land that month. Waiting on Death and Strigoi here and I'm chill with them landing sometime in October.

Man, just read the last couple pages of this thread. I had stopped reading the thread after I cancelled Hex but my curiosity got the better of me. Man real bummer reading this. It almost feels like they're trying to alienate their fanbase. Like they're not doing the bamba warehouse sale out of some childish vindictiveness for how much negativity has been aimed at them as a company.
Actually, given how Ash sometimes acts I could actually believe that was the case if someone in the know said as such.

Re: shipping schedule visualized
My be worth eating cost with all the unknowns if stuff is or isn't going to drop. Frustrating communication and openness to what is going to drop on bamba. 1 day notice with no clue to pay with bills due. Anticipating these sales is challenging and hard at times to may buys.

And the Girl Neptune/Blind Nabler set's one year anniversary was on the 10th of this month. 3A with the big time failures. Skull Shogun would be a foregone conclusion pickup, if it weren't for the terrible year 3A is having. All the issues make me second guess any purchase (which have been admittedly few, this year).

This happens every year. It's only because the summer conventions are over now. Paid-in-full customers take a back seat to manufacturing all those convention exclusives every single year.zzzzz wrote:Massive shipping update for September! 3A is seriously trying to get back on track.

How many times have we seen this now?
"Due to unexpected delays the following items will be shipping later than previously anticipated". Not good enough, me thinks.

i agree, not good enough at all.
if you cant make and ship a product via the est then stop and re-think the estimates or slow the fuck down and give the hatchery a chance to catch up. dont just keep adding more on the pile with no concern as to how realistic a shipping est is, no concern for the experience of a customer. is like the emphasis is on taking more money like some sort of scrooge mcduck. not on quality figures, not on happy customers. greed yo.
customers that ordered cowbot have now waited a year...
this isnt some sort of one-off hand made piece of art its not. its a semi-massed produced figure that in no way is worth a years fuckin wait IMO. how the fuck does it even take year to make? unless the hatchery is backed up by the greedy desires of those running the ship that its struggling. a toy worth a years wait? this isnt a "small company" anymore, that excuse doesn't fly.

7 years of manufacturing experience, it's just inexcusable that they haven't figured out how to handle their workflow. are they incapable or spoiled by us silly gooses who keep accepting this behavior?

Can you imagine if any other company in the world said buy this figure based on a scetch and you might get it before Christmas next year?
