Re: GRUNTS (all versions)
martian sloggers would be great right now, anything %100 new.
"new" does not include the same old in a new scale IMO.

Yeah... this '3AGO' scale is starting to become a problem... Was WWRp really too expensive to produce? Or does ThreeA just need a new excuse to sell slightly-altered molds to us...

Re: GRUNTS (all versions)
Well I think 1|12 was expensive for a factory, aspecialy on clothing. pouch and the tiny stuff.
in the factory I bet they had to put almost 30% more time on a figure, just because of that.
tiny patch have more chance to have faulty molt as well my queeny 2 of them had shorter hill so they couldnt stand.
I thing they try to reduce the cost, the first 1|12 was made of solid vynil.
The 3ago part of is are made of pvc I thing much more cheaper, with the clothing you don'T really mind. But On the 3ago bertie she felt much more cheaper then the 1|12 bot.
something that won't make me buy square or bot in that scale.
But now I will only go for exclusive 3ago. only.
And I want to see Grunt 2.0

Re: GRUNTS (all versions)
Well, I doubt that we'll see anything 100% new. Mind you that the bodies will likely be the same (hopefully with some tighter joints) for the next wave of Grunts. And usually 3A can get away with re-using little parts like boots, gloves or buckles. But yeah, some character that isn't a total re-hash or re-scaling would be a good change of pace...
Everyone got really excited when ThreeA put a second sleeve of armor on a Shogun TK and called it a "heavy-duty" variant. But I mean, think about that - Isn't that the kind of stuff that people hate about other big toy companies. Hasbro has like 12 slightly-different versions of the same Transformer, they even have a term for it: 'Re-tooling' they call it. I mean sure, this is just a limited convention exclusive, but it makes you think right?...

Re: GRUNTS (all versions)
Thanks guys. It's been a long wait... since 2011.06.09. That was the day I first purchased it... from a flipper... who didn't deliver. Luckily I got a refund. Now I finally got it for the price under my personal limit. And even got lucky with customs. Happy.
