I like it.
But more importantly, my girlfriend likes them too.
She wants the black one.
Or the orange one...
Any information on the price?

Re: GoGoGo General Discussion
They will be expensive and are pre-made and limited run. Final price is still being determined

So are they manufactured to the level of being usable, or are they really for looks and display only?
3A makes toys that, lets be honest, in many cases are better suited for displays than every day play. Just wondering if these GOGOGO pieces are really for looks and only occasional handling, or solid pieces? If someone uses it as an everyday carry, will it fall apart in a couple months, or grow old gracefully?
Some shots make them look to be leather. Hard to say for sure though. And I've not really seen any solid info about what they are, other than the killer photos and the cutesy teaser taglines and such.
Lot of designer bags out there, but even the cheap pleather knockoffs can work as everyday carry.
Sarah thinks they're cute. Wouldn't want to drop a wad on a shelf warmer though. Figured it was worth checking into.

They're made of real leather and are intended for use. The original prototype Siu had made was really gorgeous and functional, lined inside, zip openings, side ear pockets, etc. Been waiting to see the production run ones. Details'll be up soon
And sidenote, just to be clear for everyone, 3A/threezero has no involvement with GoGoGo

I would love to own one of these, I pray that expensive isn't like the 1/3 doll expensive.

Depends on the market being targeted, but I won't be surprised to see a floor of $750-1k+ if they are targeting the luxury limited bag market. Could be twice that an I wouldn't be surprised. Not that I'd buy a $2500 bag from an unproven company, but some might. Who knows at this stage. If they're under $500 I'll be totally shocked, and I imagine they'd sell out quickly. Over $1k I imagine sales would slow significantly, but they'd still sell. The higher the price, the slower the sell through.
Just pulling numbers out of my butt of course.

How much use are you seriously going to get out of these though? I think these are more collectible/art pieces than anything. And being that they are limited, yeah you're going to see them most likely at those high prices.

Re: GoGoGo General Discussion
My wife would use it as a daily carry if I got one for her. Here's a ton of mixed analogies.
It's like a really expensive guitar. Some folks (maybe most) buy them and treat them like the holy grail and lock them away untouched. Then others (like yours truly) buy because they like the looks, features, etc, and want to actually make music with the thing (it's genuine purpose), rather than sticking on a pedestal and looking at it. Nothing wrong with either approach, but to me great fashion is about actual usage. Showing it and admiring it on a runway is not really my thing other than as an ad for the product itself. Of course I appreciate the design, but I want to experience it as well.
In some ways like having original art, but keeping it in a portfolio rather than on display, because I'm afraid it'll fade over time. I'd rather live with a piece for 30 years and have it fade a little over time while I see it every day, than have it for 30 years and only happen to come across it a couple times a year when putting something else in the portfolio.
Besides which, I think a well taken care of, but naturally battle worn bag would look pretty fucking rad, assuming it holds up well. Like a great quality motorcycle jacket, or again, a great old guitar. Plus all the memories of living with it and using it for it's presumed intended purpose. That's worth the money to me. I certainly don't see it as an investment or some crazy collectible that's going to continue to gain value over time. To me the value gained is the experience.
But don't let me take away from the cork-sniffer types who prefer to not actually drink the great wine, just like the bragging rights of owning it.

10 pre-made of each color, $500 shipped and comes with a bonus Nabler purse. It's really not that outrageous of a price considering the designer bag market, and these are crazy limited edition. Hmmmm.

Yep. Absolutely doable, but only if we even see them hit the store.

Black looks the best with the white accents. I won't be going for one 'cause it's just not my cup of tea (though it would make a nice camera bag), but good luck to you fellas who are.

Re: GoGoGo General Discussion
I grabbed Sarah a white one. The black ones went pretty quick, but I was 33/33/33 on which to go with anyway. I liked the white and the pink because they are less in your face than the black and white design. More about being a bag and less about being a head. Appreciate them all. Carrying orange and to some degree the pink, seemed more limiting in clothing choice, so I went white. Or Vanilla if you like.

Re: GoGoGo General Discussion
At 500 bones for a bag limited to what, 50 total units. Only 10 of each color? I found it a no-brainer. I think Sarah will dig it. Hope so. Surprise gift.
I logged in and see now the black and the white are gone but the Pink and the Orange are still up. Color me shocked, personally.
Speaking of which, the ads show red, and there's a red purse in the lineup photos for those, but I never saw the red get listed. Held back for future release, or something else maybe?

1:1 bag up for 800. No way I can swing that dough but would be a sick cat carrier.
Re: GoGoGo General Discussion
Call me crazy, but I like the smaller bags so much better.
Also, they've already sent me a tracking number, so they aren't just pre-made, seems like they are moving quick on shipping them out as well.

Re: GoGoGo General Discussion
So all other stuff got pushed down the shipping list because of Prime but they still find time to ship these ahead of everything else? ThreeA looking after the uber rich as always. I'm just some poor schmuck who only spent $600+ so fuck him, he can wait. Neapolitain set was premade too but has yet to ship. Mort is only shipping now 10 months after I paid up front. Trying my best to stay positive but ThreeA keeps doing their best to drag me down.

I feel you, brother! But this has nothing to do with 3A, I almost feel like Mr. Woods is slowly moving away from toys.

3A and the factories 3A use have zero involvement with GoGoGo.
Totally new and separate company that is just Ash and Siu doing a high-end fashion label.
