Thanks.Artoo wrote:About time! Congrats on scoring.
Yeah.
Back in the threeA days there was always something coming my way.
Usually less than 2-3 weeks apart. Sometimes a couple in the same week.
So I am not used to have to wait for something. (mostly I've always been one of the last to receive his toys)
Now I have seen it sitting at customs for 4 weeks before they were able to process it and sent me an invoice for customs and clearance fees (€16)
and another week to decide to finally send it to me.
Raven Boxer is without his robe 365gr (12.87oz.), the robe is 20gr.Chivo wrote:Kewl! How much does he weigh?
Red Night JC is 224gr (7.9oz.)
That's about 1.6x the weight of a threeA body. (with more or less comparable clothing)
Not a toy that feels comfy in a blister.
Foam padded is good. (that in contrast to most threeA action figures which I think mostly felt a bit out of their comfort zone sitting in a foam padded box)
Only gripe I have is the fact JC's waist can't move, I understand what makes it hard to implement and the torso looks great this way but it makes a lot of cool Zomb-destroying poses pretty much impossible.
Maybe something for a Mk2 male UV body.
For now I am very impressed with the results.
It feels like something luxurious.

Re: JC Resurrected
The long wait continues for Regular JC release to ship. Just gotta tell myself to be patient, just seeing photos pop up has me itching for it’s arrival.
Re: JC Resurrected
Resurrecter JC arrived today.
And to be honest he is even better than Raven Boxer.
Weathering is subtile, not too heavy or too light: perfect.
Fun detail is the fact the hands are sticky like the first threeA JC release from 2010.
Wonder if these will stay sticky for 10+ years as well.
The robe is a nicely detailed light, supple fabric that can be draped nicely over the shoulders.
No lining though, that's the trade off.
Obviously this time the packaging has been made by a veteran: Box and lid are perfectly executed.
And I am glad shipping to The Netherlands didn't damage it.

No, of course not.
Raven Boxer is special and really awesome.
Personally I would have been heartbroken if I had missed out (okay not heartbroken, but pretty disappointed)
If I had to choose one it would be Raven Boxer.
However, Resurrecter is probably the better toy.
- it has colors
- it has weathering
- the packaging wasn’t produced by the inter, so the lid wasn’t glued to the box
- it is easier to obtain on the aftermarket

Man, figure is heavy. Really regret not buying both though and missing out on the dark version, but I am happy with the blonde JC. Has that classic orange color on the shorts and shoes. Looks stunning in hand.

Re: JC Resurrected
Received mine as well today. They both are great! Not as heavy as I was expecting. The cross is light as well.
Great job, UV!

Hah, no I meant you were the last to receive the Raven boxer in shipping, but the first person I saw to post photos of Resurrector. Seems like you only got them a few days apart.

May not be so accurate if you tracked via apps, try plugging in the tracking numbers directly to courier website.
That's what happened to me earlier today.

Oh yes, you're right Raven on Saturday, Resurrecter on Monday.Artoo wrote:Hah, no I meant you were the last to receive the Raven boxer in shipping, but the first person I saw to post photos of Resurrector. Seems like you only got them a few days apart.
Not necessarily, at least with our postal service:wutasi wrote:<{OjO}> wrote:Damn! Still no movement for me since 1st July!!

I knew my package was in the Netherlands via http://track24.net.
It didn't show up on https://postnl.nl site for another 3 weeks while sitting at their own location in The Hague (talking about a backlog).
But we do things different here: Building cities below sea level. Import life stock, feed them up, dump their shit in our soil and export them again. Throw the country open, remove mask mandate and tell people to start partying when less than 40% of the country is fully vaccinated. Making social housing corporations pay 30% tax on every € they get because they are subsidised while giving homeowners a tax break on their mortgage interest. Firing up a brand new hard coal power plant in 2015, while the world burns and we don't have hard coal... that kind of stuff.

Re: JC Resurrected
JC finally arrived and he’s awesome! The box is really cool but it’s just so BIG!! It takes up a lot of much needed space! (I’m sure you can all relate) Haha! I get that it feels like a more premium product in a big fancy box, but I sort of miss the smaller art box of old. It’s just my opinion of course but I think without the large box, the cross and stand we still would have got an amazing figure and perhaps a bit better price point!
I’m genuinely interested to know how the rest of you feel about the box and if you think the cross and stand were unnecessary…?

Re: JC Resurrected
The box is big indeed.
I don’t think this release would have felt as good for me without the cross, it completes it. It makes it a story, (an adventure if you like) not just a toy in a box.
But this cross accessory also makes me wonder if a relative affordable Tomorrow King + Bothead release is in the cards.
Especially since Ash is making tons of robothead paintings and drawings lately…
Would be fun to start UV popbot with that.

I agree! A Tomorrow King and Bothead set would be nice!
As long as UV can keep it affordable!

Re: JC Resurrected
It would have been cool if the cross was removable from the platform so that JC could have dragged it on his shoulders. Other than that, I like the simpler boxes of 3A though the removable box art on this JC figure is cool. I think they should have these premium boxes for the first releases of the the first variant of figures and then scale down to the simpler boxes of 3A to maybe offer more affordable pieces if possible? Just a thought.
