Gonna pass on this but still interested to see how the new bodies will be compared to 3A.

Wow, easy pass. Not what I was expecting out of the gate.

They are fun in there unique way. Only gripe would be wishing body colors matched the heads hence dark heads get dark bodies.  Also would have been cool to see different clothing options on them to mix it up a bit. But might be a fun kitbash opportunity for other ideas in mind. Thought there was a head underneath the Astro head like a mascot at first based on the comic illustrations, but doubt that is the case.

I got one, I'm pretty happy with the different colorways. I was pretty sold on the design and I'm interested to see how the new ankles are compared to the classic ones. Has anyone else bought one, and what color do you want? I like them all but I want a matching opera styled one the most.

Just to note, the head is actually a cosplay helmet/mask storywise so it shouldn't necessarily match the body color.

Pressed my luck on two. Hopefully I'll get ones I like.

After seeing that they haven't all sold out, I couldn't resist getting a second. I'll be happy with whatever colorway as long as they aren't duplicates.

I see they did use the word bootleg in the promo pics for Coztro, just below designed by Ashley Wood etc. Coztro has a 3rd party body, JC will be the first figure to feature the new body, as stated in the latest newsletter. Bootleg does seem an odd choice of words, but I guess they just wanted to state that this will not be the new standard for UV bodies moving forward, or at least that's my interpretation of it. Looks like he could be wearing some bootleg Pumas though.  

I like Coztro's body, kind of a slim look to him that would be ideal for TKs. Unless that's just the cut of the clothes.

It would be cool it they added an unanounced added head with an unmasked Astro - we know it’s probably Ashley wood himself, but could be fun to pose with holding that Astro head holding a beer after the beat downs. Plus would be cool to reveal true identity of character. Might be wishful thinking on my part.

also, hope the bodies are better.... undervrs did reply to my question about the foot/hand pegs working with the old bodies...they just said the bodies are differnt... didnt answer if the pegs fit to old ones... but probably not... someone needs to make some proper pegs already for the old bodies...

Ah, I see it now. But yeah, odd choice of word.  I hope moving forward though that the body they make is in the style/function of Hot toys or ACI Toys.

By the way, has anyone been able to figure out what the difference in the head sculpts are between Coztro and Ashtrolad? Is it the eyes and the ears?

Got mine last Friday (I think, having problems remembering), but mines all busted. Arm and leg broke off after opening him up for 2 minutes.
Got the grey one at least, tho I might repaint it to another color way. Luckily for me, i have a spare World Box body from a custom (same people who made Coztro's body).

That's a shame man, I got the blue colorway recently and now I'm waiting on the second one that I ordered. I hoping for yellow or the black one.

Really preferred the blue and yellow, but I got an airbrush, so I can make something happen. hopefully under verse can replace the body quickly

I don't know if it's bad mojo or what, but so far I've only heard about and experienced  issues with the grey Coztro.  My break was the left knee joint after posing for a few minutes.

I was able to take the joint off of the leg pieces and looking at it the joint is put together by some brass grommet eyelet, no screws.   I think this may be the culprit in either creating too tight of a joint so that when you move it, it stresses the plastic and eventually breaks the joint or the grommet may have caused a break in the plastic when it was pressed to fasten the joint.   But I too have a few Worldbox bodies and they just seem more sturdier so I don't know what's really going on, maybe just cheaper plastic or a bad batch?

Will the heads work with old 3A bodies? And how is UV handling the problem, new bodies being sent out?
