Re: Bertie MK2
I caved and ordered DD5... I'm also hoping for an increase in the size of the guns, these just look so puny in those hands.
Here's some weapons that I think would suit future Deeds releases:
shotgun (like the Bertie MK3)
stengun
flamethrower
grenade launcher (like the Beagle Caesar)

Or considering you have the original Deeds should we make that 13 in your case?

Re: Bertie MK2
A Thompson machine gun would be cool like in this painting. Though it's not quite a Thompson.
Re: Bertie MK2
There was always this old image of Ash holding a machine-gun type weapon next to the OG desert Mk 1 Bertie. Wish he would make that gun

Re: Bertie MK2
That Bertie and gun, I think, was produced by another company before Ash and 3A joined forces. I wish I had one of those original Berties (peg feet). I believe that the body is slightly fatter.
Re: Bertie MK2
And there was this version too.

All three if those guns/weapons I don't think they have been featured with any figures, they must be part of Ash's personal collection he likes to show off time to time.

Re: Bertie MK2
as UU mentioned they were made in partnership via threezero and bigshottoyworks so Ash/threeA may not have access to using them anymore.

Even so, a few little tweaks here and there could get around copyright easily.

Still haven't pulled the trigger on #5, I bought the first 4... if there was a incentive to collect them all I might be more enthusiastic, but it's all kinda one note. Still debating...

Re: Bertie MK2
After the first couple, the whole not point kicks in when the full squad of 12 comes together. Anybody with the 1:12 Dirty Dozen set knows what I mean. Except, it will be even more epic given the scale difference.

Big difference between the 1/12 set and the full 1/6 set of Dirty Deeds Berties. With the 1/12 set you could buy them all at once, at a decent price, and find the space to display them. With the 1/6 versions it's a whole different ball game. First, the total cost of all twelve will be around the $2,000 mark which in itself is just mental! Second, we are looking at two years or more before the collection is fully complete. Third, the space needed to display all twelve 1/6 scale Berties is just staggering! Fourth, they all nearly look identical except for their weapons (so far).
So I can understand why some people are having second thoughts on continuing supporting the line. For owning a bunch of toys, it's a massive commitment to undertake.
Before I go I would just like to point out that I myself took the plunge a few days ago and bought number five! Madness I tell ya, madness!!

You are not alone in thinking this way. I actually fear for this line, as I believe myself that less people are continuing to buy each new release. When the line is crossed that it is no longer profitable to continue with these, what happens then? Will ThreeA look after the fans who want the full 12, at a loss? We all know the answer to that.

Re: Bertie MK2
I think you just reinforced my point.
Agree on all points by the way, and still think any more than a couple means riding it out for maximum impression when the set is finally complete. It's not about having 12 distinctly different bots. It's about a huge magnificent squad of very similar ones. That's where their uniqueness lies. How many complete sets will exist 2 years from now?

How many complete sets will exist in 2yrs? You're being very optimistic, I'd be very surprised if they ever get these finished at all.
And yeah I agree with everything you guys just said. Cthulhu, Plastic & ESesfinga.
