"I think most people know I love the MEGO 8" figures of old, something about the size and fun of them has never left me cold! So I figure if I have the setup in place to make my own, why not!

Im going to set about building a collection of 8" characters, mostly of my own design but a few surprizes from outside my own stuff as well. I was using the TK as the platform to develop the line and was not going to actually offer them, but I figured as we have them mostly done etc. ( we will have a bunch of 3ALPHAGO TKs at NYTF, sneak in and grab some, they are not final and have issues but kinda cool to have im guessing! )

Soon as I can offer a cool line up to start they will be on Bamba, I dont want to release just one etc, need to launch with a bunch to choose, more like they did back in the day!"

Q: The attachment points for the shoulders on the Harold are interesting. Can you talk a little about the development of those?
A: Well its was an elegant fix, simple and effective, all the kudos goto the 3A engineers!

Q: Would it ever be possible to see a retail wave of mixed styles of WWRp - Harold/Bertie/Dropcloth/etc?
A: Yes, in fact retail will see that, we are overhauling the way we do retail sales and mixing waves is just one of those changes!

Q: If TKLUB (and all the other Klubs) are to be one per person in 2014, does this mean no more blind variants?
A: You can get one of each variant, but not say 20 and sell on etc. but hey we never do variants!

Q: With 3AA almost upon us, I would love to know what licensed figures will we see in 2014? You mentioned Marvel specifically and hinted other designers and artists. I know that 3AA doesn't have written in stone plan, but better hint would be great! SGDM and MaK maybe?
A: Actually our plans are 90% original content, I see 3A's strength as bringing original ideas to market, regarding licenses thought we have more Halo, Marvel, MGS, Valve universe and transformers and not forgetting Micronauts. Thats more than enough! Naturally we have some surprises in these realms as well!

Q: I have a question, will you produce others figures inspired by some of your paintings? If yes, then who is next?
A: Thats the plan, always has been, Im very interested in making the oddball robots that have appeared over the years, the lopsided ones etc.

Q: Me and my kids would love to see Iron Giant made by 3A, would you be interested in something like that?
A: I love robots, the Iron Giant is a great story and design, I wouldn't say no!

Q: When you do your black and white/ink work, do you primarily use markers or do you use croquet pens? And what brands do you use? I'm just curious how you achieve your line work!
A: I use all sorts, mainly calligraphy markers from many companies! I dont want to say exactly which, as they all have different qualities and you should personally try them all to find out what you like, i assume your an artist ?

Q: Is Cornelius TK coming in art-box or it's a blister, or you haven't decided yet?
A: mmm I would say box, I like the sticker box, the NYC version is the transparent box thingy!

Q: Are you going to run an open booth at NYTF or we will have to make an appointments (press-appointments and such)?
A: Open!

Q: After MEGO line reveal, I got curious, whether Microman are still in the works and when we might see 'em? In early December, you mentioned that they are so close! Sorry for being impatient, just super pumped for them!
A: Actually they are close, but I have to wait for Takara to give the OK, I have the first wave in hand, would so love to show them…

Q: Can you please tell us about any plans for new De Plume figures that may be in the pipeline? Also very curious if you have any plans to revisit any of the De Plumes in EVOL, I personally really really hope you will give us a new, evolved, Kuan Ti Plume. How about it?
A: A new Deplume is close, one of the inner circle, not a fallen one, all new head sculpt etc, part of the EVOL story! After the ROTHCHILD REBOOT release.

Q: What's the story behind the Suicide Club Armstrong? How does he fit into WWR universe, and will you ever do more Suicide Club figures? It's a great colourway!
A: Its a hobbled together Armstrong, made from excess parts of other bots, used without regard in defense or attack, hence the name etc. It might be fun to make another suicide bot…

Q: Can we please get a peek at the chubby TQ body soon?
A: Chunky, not chubby, we have some fun figs in dev for the body, but I guess its like always, small team, lots of toys, but we will get to them soon, not enough TQ in general released lately!

Q: Are you still planning to offer 1/12 MK1 Square mega-set at some point?
A: Yes, but as we don't want to release any prior sold squares in 1/12th we need more designs etc, I just need to find time to make them.

Q: I am so looking forward to 3AA 2014 on January 15th, do I have to be early at 9:00AM or it's 24 hours for everyone?
A: Everyone I guess, unless a freaky amount want to join then we have internal number that would shave us flick the switch just to 3AA 2013 members. Im pretty sure you will be ok!

Q: Back in July you gave us dates and prices of few figures ahead of time and it was personally great and very convenient for me. Will you be repeating this in the future or such things very hard to preset?
A: I would like a system, that gives a good overview, but it seems best laid plans always get shuffled here and I don't want to say this date and price then change etc, I think in general we would like to offer advance info and such, its good for you and us and we will work on that for 2014.

Q: Do you have any 1:1 3A figures in your house and if yes, what are they? I bet there are some Squares and Kitties all around the place and maybe LM in the garden?
A: I have a few, i have to say my fav is Peppermint Grove, it has a real presence and can be kinda freaky late at night.. Of course the 1inch nipples kinda disarms!

Q: Do you have nieces or nephews and what kinds of toys they prefer? Do you give them 3A presents?
A: A niece, who is becoming a great artist in her own rights, and shows good taste by digging ger Uncles toys!

Q: Somebody might argue with me, but I think that 3A 2013 will be remembered as the year of TKLUB and Isobelle Pascha! What was for you the most memorable sale for you?
A: I think it was the year of Pascha, personally I had fun with Pascha, and it was great to see you guys did too, sure she ain't for all, no weapons or fantasy tropes ( I guess some peoples fantasy ) but the audience was there and that made it all the sweeter! I really enjoyed the Dolphin sale, he is a main part of the AK story and his story isn't over, far from it!

"I just love writing the name 2000AD, even though we have all trotted past said date, its still conjures up thoughts of the future, and thats why I'm writing this post today.

The future of 2000AD and 3A.

I could yap on about the details about the previous years attempts at making the toys ( best moment for me was Ro -Jaws ), but in short in 2014 we are going to relaunch the 2000ad line in 1/12th, I want to make many characters, and frankly the cost and support for large expensive versions just didnt add up, plus we all want a law-master with our Dredd figure ( much much easier and cheaper in 1/12th), hell, we all want a Apocolpyse War era Sov Judge, Judge Anderson, Judge Death, Johnny Alpha with Gronk, Nemesis, fuck, even that todger Ace Garp , plus all the modern era characters.. There are a shit load of them, I personally love them all, even Shako..

You guys who have the 1/12th Mongrol have already started your collections, so help me, help 3A get these done by supporting the new line, without you guys it not gonna happen! 2000ad deserves a great toy line, fuck that, IT DEMANDS IT!

Some specs for those of you, who are seeing VALVe Portal 2 Atlas & P-Body figures for the first time (newsletter with whole info here):

*ATLAS is approximately 27.5 cm (10.8″) in height
*P-body is approximately 30.5 cm (12″) in height
*Each character comes with their own Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device
*The Portal Devices are removable and not permanently attached to the characters
*Each character features illuminated Optical Sensor displays with animated boot-up sequence
*Both figures feature torso sections that are removable from their bodies
*The eyelids on each character can be manually opened or closed to create different expressions

Q: In one of the Peppermint Grove images she is quoted: "I WANT MY DICKHEAD BROTHERS LEFT HAND. THEN I CAN HUNT THE LINK!"
Is the Link a new character or is it referring to the new type of sale that is talked about under the blog title "peppermint access"? And will there be figures of other robot bounty hunters?
A: The Link is the 0day Robot of the AK universe, all the robots just don't appear out of thin air, they have their origins with THE LINK! and yes I have many ideas for Bounty Hunters, fingers crossed I get to make them all! The AK world is rich with ideas, at this point they kinda sprout naturally as in my head I have a whole eco system!

Q: In the tradition of Missions working with canine companions, has Merde Mission ever run with an old dog by his side?
A: Well Merde has always had a penchant for German Shepherd, he see's all other dogs as weak, unlike his now departed GS ROMMEL! Do we need a Rommel German shepherd, I would like one, actually we are working on a 1:1 Custard in Hoody and battle fatigues, I think a Shepherd would work well in 1:1. 3A pets, better that the real thing, why, they look cooler and dont piss or shit on your carpet! And if you want to buy a good quality living dog, our will be cheaper as well. 3A KENNELS!

Q: What is the difference between the Soy variants and the regular Peppermint Grove and Golden Dolphin / Soy Dolphin as far as their attitude and nature? Are the Soy's more/less of a badass or more evil or something?
A: They are shadows, that are given a life of their own on certain nights, they escape the prison of the caster, to do good or bad, but they are fucking tough and not to be messed with!

Q: Who do the Soys fight for on the Island? Are they also part of the Kartel or something totally different?
A: They are just what they are, they don't consider good or bad as a disposition, just following their natural agenda, they do seem to have a distaste for robots though!

Q: Can there be an M+M section on your new website, where you post a daily comic and continue the story from the first volume? Then after a while they could be printed in a similar format as before?
A: It is such a cool little book. There should be more! I would love that, but I'm so strapped for time, and now that im making the 3A adventure comics its more tight than ever, I should post all the ones I have done I guess, good idea!

Q: What's the story of Light and Shadow TK or Shogun Blanco and Negro TK? Are they made for special mission? Why there's no Light and Shadow TQ? Or they're on your project list?
A: Why isn't there a Shadow and Light TQ, well shit, I dunno consider it made, ill be making a manufacturing request Monday, should I make them available to all, or prizes ? You tell me!

Q: Who are Byron and 'the Hostess'? Will they be in the Shit Hot Adventure Annual when it comes out or it's a design for the new t-shirt?

Byron and "the Hostess" are from one of this drawings:


A: Book as well, wow good eyesight, Byron and the Hostess are AK characters, they run a restaurant that serves nothing but drinks, The Hostess is an ex SHADOW COMMANDO leftover from the carine glade conflict.

Q: There is Bill Me Later option at Bambalandstore, but perhaps there can be some sort of a payment plan option established for expensive (USD350+) figures?
A: I agree, I will have our accounting guys figure that out, like Sideshow etc?

Q: Will we every get the chance to buy 1:1 squares in colorways that were not offered before or perhaps MK2 Squares will be offered one day?
A: I have always wanted that, but the cost is so high and the production of them is difficult. Maybe I can look for a thirdparty company to help make them etc. I always loved the giant cardboard ones Goodsmile made that time, the cost is nuts for those ones too... ahh squares....

Q: Are there any news, which you can share about WWRp Warscape line of 1/12 playset/diorama sets?
A: They are on the line, should get some help for that as well!

Q: We have a good idea on what the Nabler is about, but what about Soot Diver? That pointy nosed bot shows up quite often in your art. Is there anything you can share?
A: You have no idea about the Nabler, or maybe you do and the one eye fucker sold me out without my knowing..dont look under your beds!.. The Soot diver is a MORTIS bot, called a soot diver due to its long trail of smoke as it descends on its target etc.

Q: By all means, please do tell us more about WBR and Mars! The feel of the blurry pick reminds me a lot of Gigantor and Goldorack. Do they have pilots? Are they giant robots fighting one another all over the planet or they are fighting some huge monsters/aliens? Is the WBR line going to focus solely on Shogun-type figs or will it include other types of Robots? Will the Robots all be 24" scale or will there be in all sorts of different sizes? And finally, do you have an idea how many you plan on releasing a year?
A: Well Mars is my Shogun Warrior I guess, thats where my heart is with him, in the WBR universe he the big gun, kick ass robot etc, he appears when a kicking is needed! The scale is 1/12th, so the human characters will be 6" etc, and other robots will fit into that scale ,the release after Mars is way smaller and so on. WBR gives me lots more latitude for style, I can do big Shogun warrior type design, then a 60's style robot, there isnt a strict design brief because all these robots are from all over, not a single designer or company like WWR. Will reveal MARS soon, flashy looking fucker for sure and the size just makes it all the sweeter! Looks good fighting the TK hunter too!

Q: What colorways are planned for the MK2 Berties release?
A: The classic and some unseen, with some different parts! I so wanna do a Dirty deeds set at 1/6th!

Q: WWR Meat is Murder Superset was such an epic release! Can we have a Jungler Superset now pretty please?
A: Ok, I was thinking we need another set, maybe Jungler, maybe an unseen colorway. Tell gimby, he can then pass on what the mood is!

Q: Any chance we will see more samurai figures again?
A: As in TK ones, yes, but different designs and version!

Q: If possible, can you please tell us more about Bromwich colorway? And what ZW stands for?
A: Im pretty sure I answered this on the forum or somewhere ?? am I being lazy.. mm its Saturday evening and a beer is calling!!

Q: What would happen if Mars waged war on NOM. As I understand it all: NOM is essentially the most powerful group in WWR but the martians aren't push overs like the EC, they got the tech, they got the drive, and they got the brains. I am really curious about it.
A: NOM is an ideal, impossible to destroy!

Q: Would you be interested in making the gas-mask soldier from ZVR Aventure cover (Frazetta homage)…do he has a name?
A: I would, I always want to make bots in military clothing actually any clothing, maybe you will like something I have cooking, a twist on a well known story!

Q: What nationality is Fighting JC!? Greek perhaps? I noticed Exegisis is a Greek word meaning to teach. Since we're on the subject of Greeks, and assuming JC isn't Greek, are there any Greek characters in the Adventure Kartel world?
A: He is an Essene, hence the tagline, the MEAN ESSENE! There are many nationalities in the AK world!

Q: Is there a chance for AP Ka-Mumbs in the distant or not so distant future?
A: Fingers crossed, 1/12th AK is special to me!

Q: I have a question about one of the greatest Tomorrow Kings: Baka! Is the a story written about this TK? Is he part of under verse?
A: Baka isn't an under verse Tk, he is just a legend for being fearless Slicer, or stupid, the jury is out on that, BAKA has a good friend, a MEGA SLIVER who he learned all his shit from he is called ...... I guess see the next TKLUB release.

Q: One million dollar question! In last Q&A, you briefly mentioned "transformers"….that got a lot of us buzzing, so are you making Transformers and will 3A Transformers Transform? Also, which series will they be based upon? G1 Hopefully!
A: I know, well we have been on it a while, and hopefully it can be shown very soon, its an exercise in crazy detail!

Q: First, do the robots in WWR has their own consciousness ? I mean if it's in ghost in the shell term, do they have ghost inside them ? Second, in a war time prepare for peace, in peace time prepare for war, so what happened after WWR ? I know you just made a new chapter EVOL in WWR, but after that all what will happen and how does it all end?
A: How does it end, thats telling.

Q: What is Zombacle? Is it 1:1 figure for NYTF?!
A: Its an oracle in the AK world, this particular one is a severed Zomb head, we will have them at NYCTF, hopefully we can see some fans and give them out to them too!!

Q: After seeing Lasstranaut figure just now…I am just speechless, been waiting for her since 2009! I am curious what type of skin is used on the figure and whether it stretches while posing?
A: Well its a work in progress, actually the final shipping Lass will be much cooler, but you know, the figure exudes the quality i wanted, its a fun figure. Re skin well I dont know its name, ill deem it stretchy stuff from today! And remember, this is it, no more Lass releases, she doesnt come in other colors, or variations there is only one Lass! Mark my words we will be working hard up till the last moment before production to make Lass the best!

Q: Will there be a some sort of exclusives & upgrades for people in 2015, who will be becoming 5th year members? Because it's impossible to go back in time and discover 3AA in 2009, but eventually everyone can become 5th year member.
A: Yes, we will have some kind of upgrade.

Q: What questions annoy you the most and what would you prefer more: beer or wine? I would guess wine, but after BEER Gils, you never know
A: Wine , Beer and Girls, I think thats a company moto right there! Actually I consume more coffee, but coffee girls doent sound that exciting, flat white girl, long black lass... actually that doesnt sound too bad ! Questions dont annoy, I feel lucky to have the kinda of interest in my work that generates questions! This weekly thingy is a good way to shed light on some of my thoughts and actions!

"GOOD MORNING 3AA 2014

Special day for 3A, and me, this isnt a job, nor a way to kill time waiting for this or that, its part of my life that I basically give all too! When I was starting out I wanted to be a comic artist bad, that was the goal, then as i moved along illustration began to grow and join comics, then what is known as fineart, popart whatever art was a path that took an important and urgent role. In-between all that a desire to make stuff was always bubbling away and when the opportunity to produce toys and other stuffs without the normal constraints was offered they became a large part of my creative canon also.

I realize now that it doesn't matter if I'm making a comic, a painting a toy, they all are bricks of equal importance in the wall I'm making against the tide of bullshit and mediocrity that I see around me, also a great way yo tell stories or get across an ideal etc. Thats my job, to make that wall that most will probably forget or be too small to stem the tide, but that's the romance of it, trying, even if its against the odds!

I want to thanks Kim , my biz partner in 3A, never has he said wait up ash, or maybe thats too much or going to far, he has supported my shit from the beginning without question, thats a rare thing and Im lucky to have it !

I collected Micronauts/Microman, I collected Star Wars figures, setting them all up together to try and make photographs that gave the impression it was a real scene, a film scene etc, nothing new there, many kids did it, but fuck It felt pretty cool!... So yea, im rambling but I guess that's the inspiration behind wanting to do a line of my own Microman based on the classic Microman stuff. Yup, I feel pretty lucky!

"Oh yea, something we have been planning for a while, the 3A Adventure thingy, imagine a 2000ad style format but with my 3A IP.s etc, it will be monthly-digital version thats FREE! Sure there will be a printed version too, but the main purpose is to fill in the gaps, answer questions, and hopefully amuse in regards to the worlds of WWR, TK's, AK, and so on. I'll be handling the writing with TP, Ill be laying out some of the stories for the talented BRIZL to finish, plus roping in friends to do special one off' stories! Its a lot of work, but I think the stories and worlds the characters live in are an important part of 3A and need to be seen.

"I think most people know I love the MEGO 8" figures of old, something about the size and fun of them has never left me cold! So I figure if I have the setup in place to make my own, why not!
Im going to set about building a collection of 8" characters, mostly of my own design but a few surprizes from outside my own stuff as well. I was using the TK as the platform to develop the line and was not going to actually offer them, but I figured as we have them mostly done etc. ( we will have a bunch of 3ALPHAGO TKs at NYTF, sneak in and grab some, they are not final and have issues but kinda cool to have im guessing! )

Q: With the arrival of the AP TQs and extremely successful scaling down of their 1/6 versions, do you think we will see the AP versions of the HKV TQs? And what happened to the regular little emo Tommy and the Lil' shadow? I'm a 1/6 collector to be honest, but would like at least small versions of these first produced characters.
A: Watch our NYC space!

Q: Will we see more of the Modchip faction in 2014? Modchip Bramble or Bertie in WWREvol maybe?
A: Yup, TP is working on a pulp style WWR book that features MOD too!

Q: Will SGR JC have a poster/comic? Any chance we could see some shots of the Pale as Fuck JC chase or the Dead Astronaut Gangsta packaging or box art?
A: As the Show version didnt I was told it wasnt fair to have one in the Bamba version, when I say told, I mean the general consensus around the web.

Q: Could threeA put out a line of "gashapon" or Japanese capsule figures? Square eggs for Taiwan show were awesome, I think seeing more could be awesome, they would fly and could introduce threeA to a massive audience!
A: Well our next two models kits kinda cover this, well one does, SQUARE FARM anyone…

Q: I am following your blogspot for ages, with the introduction of new website, is it going to replace the blog?
A: Nope, not for now, I love the ol Blog!

Q: You mentioned the fee regarding making Warhol character and how threeA can't afford it…but maybe there is a way around it? We already have all of the Brillo squares, so having a Gee Bob Boxset with clones 34, 18, and 13 would be so great!
A: mm well since then I have made some moves to secure the figure, fingers crossed it works out!

Q: Is Red Commander the 'leader' of the EDOs? How are the EDOs intelligence compared to the autistic clones? Are they able to perform complicated tasks or only made to fight?
A: Well you say autistic like its a cant lead thing, dont be so terse, there is a spectrum here and many function as commanders and thinkers, just like in our version of reality. RED EDO are a special branch that is called in when a community has a problem or situation that is beyond the regular Black and White versions, The Blue is similar to RED. I Wanna do more EDO, anyone interested ?

Q: Is there a room for Halo 3 ODST's in threeA Halo line?
A: If you guys support the line, always that simple, I want to make all of them, but if there isnt a market we have out hands tied! Master Chief very soon!

Q: If we're talking weapons pack, what are the chances of WWRP and Action Portable weapons packs, too? There have been months where I've spent double on tracking down specific weapons and accessories that I spend on figures themselves. I have enough 1/12 scale AK-47's in both wood stock and wire stock to outfit a legion! Hell, I bought a 2nd set of the Finger Gang just for all the extra weapons.
A: Well the pack would be kinda small, I am sure there are companies that make 1/12th weapons anyway ? right ? Good call on the second finger, thats a cool set in my books!

Q: What is the story of the weathered DW and NW Harolds? Why hasn't the skull on NW Harold emerged like the last weathered NW (Heavy Bram and Square MK2s)? Really curious and intrigued!
A: Times change as so do factions ID, as the DW AND NW have now been revealed as NOM, certain imagery has changed and will change. DW, NW get a make over this year, they are the new freedom fighters for mankind!

Q: To me, WWR initially seemed like an alternate WW2 inspired setting with robots, but now with the toys it has evolved into something quite distinct, both visually and thematically; were you consciously trying to move away from real world references, especially with regard to the visual marking of bots (candy striped guns, graphics, colors etc.)?
A: I never tried to anything than amuse myself, I think what you picked up on was a conscious effort avoid the same old, battle mechwarrior genre feel that cartoon and videogames circle jerk over and over. With WWR I am just playing in my sandpit, it has certain internal rules and logistics that I try to stay within. The world you guys see is a year behind or more from my imagination, EVOL has been on the cards since 2012, actually soon as the first Rothchild got released I noted his next phase.

Q: The question about Photographer been asked before, I just wanted to check, whether there is any progress. Really want this fig!
A: I think a Miss and Mrs line would be great.. actually the new NABLER series will be under that banner! Answering your question, yes, I will make one, im not sure many will want it , but it might make a fun ltd toy!

Q: Since the early mention, I can't wait to see Gordon Freeman figure from Half-Life, what's its status at the moment ? Also is there a possibility that we could see Dog (Alyx's pet robot) ? It would be perfect for threeA engineering.
A: Well your gonna be happy , Gordon and Dog set is in the works, in fact our friends at Valve even sent details of a more detailed DOG, so the figure is quiet amazing and BIG!

Q: Was thinking about Lasstranaut and will the final released version have a clear visor? I can't imagine not having this figure on display without the visor down and seeing her face like in many of the original images. Looks like a great figure in the making
A: I actually like the solid visor, that was seen with the prototype, the final release will have a transparent one.. maybe

Q: In WWR universe, how's the supply for food? I suppose Grunt and NOM also need to eat something, is there any squad/colourway in WWR which responsible for food supply? Maybe a chance to make an unseen yet colorway? Well those logistics are taken care of by very similar means that the military use, not really a squad but a division.
A: I agree, I would love to see this stuff in toy form, but as im the only guy designing it, the backlog is huge. Would love to find someone who can assist me with such stuff...

Q: With the prototype of Master Chief being shown a while back will we also be seeing some Covenant soldiers anytime soon? Would be great to see threeA produce an Elite and maybe even a Hunter?
A: Elite is coming, the down side to making really authentic and detailed figures like the HALO one is dev is long, especially when doing stuff like soft skinning and and other shit, so it may seem like nothing is happening but everyday this stuff is being worked on!

Q: This may be an old topic, but, is there any consideration for sticker packs? There seem to be a lot of 'badges' or 'decals' that are on the packaging of the figures. With the Beer Girls for instance you have 'Dark Deed', 'Fisted', 'Pascha Lager', 'Lager', 'Lights Out', and '3A Lager'. I think random sticker packs of these crossing all planes of 3A would be neat.
A: Maybe to give away at shows, i would like to see embroidered patches, but shit, does anyone really like those, I do!

Q: You've lit a fire with the announcement of the continuation of the 2000ad line in 1/12! Could you please spill the beans on which will be the first release to kickstart the line again? I guess Ro-Jaws might be logical but it would be amazing to get the long awaited Hammerstein or Dredd to get a huge buzz going.
A: Dredd, Death, Sov Judge, Johnny Alpha, Rouge, Nemesis ( any yes all ABC will be there ). Gonna release in groups too, not singular releases. I dont mean boxed set ( though there will be ) but waves, more in line with traditional figure releases. Im sure your sick of hearing me say I love these characters, but I do, we are risking a lot of $ on this, but I think they have to be made!

Q: Love the EDO shoes. Any chance you'd do an articulated shoe set of different colored kicks or more shoes like that on future TKs? Speaking about future, will we see more robotic EDO-like TKs?
A: Cool, me too, simple yet has the right effect! I like the realistic shoes, but I kinda like the sculpted too, I think we will offer a more articulated foot soon too for TKs. I dont want to try and make the TK look or feel real, I like the toy look it has, the joints, the limitations are part of its charm, so expect more references to that as we go on.. Wow what the fuck does that even mean.. ! runs off

Q: Now that we're seeing a kick-off to the World's Best Robots line (Mars looks killer, by the way), can we expect the Bramble Softacre and Hardacre in 1/6th articulated form? I am sure Popbot fans would rejoice!
A: Well no, Bramble has moved on to WWR, and so has the WBR world, no relation to POPBOT or WWR, only the name is the same. MARS has turned out really smashing, and the next robot is cool and way different to MARS. Like I said somewhere WBR is my robot do anything thing, no style or story restrictions, Im thinking of releasing each robot with a 1/12th human character, to make sure size ref is always understood.. even writing this gets me going on ideas and stuff...

Q: Is there any room for animal/human hybrids in any of your Universes? You have a guy sporting a Dolphin hat but what about an eel man named Maurie with a human hat perhaps? Just wondering if we will ever see anything of the sort from you..
A: mmmm, if I can make sense of it, not just animal with human part for the hell of it. Im really kinda strict on my ideas, it has to have some kinda reasoning behind it.

Q: Did I understand your first 3AGO announcement that Nom de Plume and Tomorrow Kings, will be offered at NYCTF first, but then will make it's way to Bambalandstore? Or there might be a pre-order for them going (giving time to manufacture and tweak the tiny imperfections you mentioned), during NYCTF?
A: Well we will have alpha versions of the TK there to give away, not really close to the final that you will be able buy, but we thought it might be fun etc. Nothing will be sold at the Toy Fair, only given away! So make sure you sneak in..

Q: What are the chances of seeing massive WWRp supersets like "Under the bed Red" and "Frosty Choads" back in the day?
A: You want them, I LOVE THEM , how about we do this, I devise the set, put it up, if it sells enough Ill make it , deal ? Coz they are pricey affairs to ship, not only make so I need a minimum support. Ill do soe more sales like this, you guys have always been great in taking leaps of faith by supporting sales with just artwork, so lets see what we can do! actually, you guys have no idea how flattering it is when I sell toys based on a drawing, that is pure 3A, I feel like I could take on the whole empire at that moment, and not get fried in the back of the snowspeeder!

Q: Sam Kieth's the Maxx appears in an early issue of Popbot, so obviously he exists on some level in the Popbot universe; I'm wondering if you can further explain for us where Popbot characters and Maxx characters would exist in relation to each other? Like, is the Outerverse similar to Sam's Outback (Pangaea)? Does Maxx ever fight alongside a TK/Q, or even know of them? Do TK/Qs ever have to mow down armies of isz, or ride air whales? Just really curious about it, thank you!
A: Well the MAxx and Kitty are friends, they shared a common reality for their meetings, no other interactions happened outside of that. I like to think of the MAxx and Kitty representing Me and SAm in those instances, a reverse of the 4th wall.

Q: Any chance of getting a "Sunday Q and A" AK theme coffee mug? I would so buy two!
A: mm ill find a really ropey place that makes printed mugs POD and have them offered!

Q: With the characters and storyline of Tomorrow King are expanding so vast, is it possible if TKs (or TQs too) will be separated from Popbot storyline and making into their own line and story? I see you already separating TK toys and Popbot toys on wo3a menu page, so maybe that's a start?
A: I have mused about this for years, and have been asked many times by many publishers, but its just a time issue, I think the TK have a large and separate story to tell, that is only really glimpsed in the Popbot comic!

Q: When its time for the next WWR superset to go up for pre-order can we please have a 1/12 option sold at the same time, I mean the very same set, but in 1/12 scale ?
A: Sure, but they will have to meet the minimum to make the cut too!

Q: Any chance the WF 1G Armstrong will have a backstory like Oliver the EURO Bramble? Love to learn more about WWR combat in the jungles and more about the tactics of the WF in particular. Also any chance the Armstrong will include a ghillie suit for camo? WF yo!
A: WF will be revealed soon, The WWR EVOL prelude comic in the non com set leads into the WF stuff!

Q: Can you please confirm that Marquis de Plume will be coming with Bertie MK2? And speaking about Berties, it would be great to have few month heads up (especially if they will compete in variety with Harolds), before they go up…as I am planning to buy all of them!
A: Marquis isnt coming with Bertie MK2 ? Who said that? Ill give you a good heads up for the sale! Marquis is Feb and needs no Bertie to make trouble!

Q: Will Microman get those cool weapons and accessories like the vintage Japan counterpart? And are we going to see some Microman villains? Villains always have such a cool personalities and fun to collect!
A: Well if there is interest in the line, as in people buy it, yea, they will get it, I have the Hoodman ready to go and Acroyear, but its a case of seeing how it pans out. I for one want to do vehicles etc!

Q: Do you have a personal favorite Lasstranaut depiction? You have created different versions of her, do you have a personal favorite 'look'?
A: The next one! I like them all, I like the cartoony ones, and the painterly ones, the character has many moods!

Q: Is there any way that a carrying case/box to house 1/6 figures, not bots obviously, could be looked into development? Maybe like a briefcase or something that holds 3 or four 1/6 figures and a little system to hold them into place with foam inserts? 3A might start and lead a revolution there!
A: That would be cool, a nice way to store and kinda cool looking! Ill say it again, we can make anything like this, if you guys want it..

Q: Will the Lasstranaut 3AA 2014 membership box be able to hold AP boxes like the 3AA 2013 Blanc Hunter box was able to last year?
A: errr , I dunno what that means ? re submit the question ill answer next week?

Q: Do you have vehicles/bots--Biotron, Microtron, etc. kind of stuff in the works for the String Divers to pilot?
A: As answered before in the 5th question , Bio-tron is so cool, gah it all is!

Q: Is there a date or month this year with 1/12 Sea Monkey and Snow Pea name on it?
A: Late Jan early Feb, the Sea Monkey Snow Pea set, also other members separately sold from G.H.G, which Snow pea is member.


Q: After all the talking about Andy Warhol, I been thinking: is there a chance on a Popbot Sherlock Holmes?
A: Ol fish tank head, I want to to show what happened to my Sherlock, but with so many sherlock around now it would seem trite or band wagon jumping!.. Ill address it, and who know maybe a fig, but many more in front to be made!

Q: Why is there so much German in the WWR Universe? Are the NOM German? Does Germany have major significance in the WWR Universe?
A: Im half German, so its a natural affair! Germany does play a major part in the WWR universe, its one of the founding members of rebel countries that eventually stand up against the Earth coalition and say all this war shit against Mars is nuts, stop now or will annex ourselves from the coalition etc. which leads to a sticky situation as you can imagine and cool storylines. Evol is the umbrella for this, not just Rothchilds change but Earth's as well. The Nom come from everywhere!

Q: What do all Tomorrow Kings or de Plume keep in their pouches?
A: Dried fish, what does a soldier keep, rations, munitions, medical, survival whatnots! spank mag, communication devices, whetstone, underwear etc.

Q: Any chance at an EDO with metallic paint app, like an IRON EDO cyborg perhaps? With a bit of rust and different weapon possibly?
A: I have a bronze EDO, who wants a Bronz edo!

Q: I was wondering, there has been some talk about new ladies, would you consider a Valentine's Day Tomorrow Queens sale? Might be cool, especially considering how it falls on NYCTF dates…so we will have something waiting for us at Bamba!
A: Well we could but it would have to off art, with CNY upon us the hatchery is slowing down and only top priority stuff is getting made or sampled! Make no mistake, I see 3A as being a premier maker of the female figure one day, thats along term plan and we are working on them always, NYC TF will have some new ones and our large size prototypes!

Q: How will 3A Adventure comic be distributed both digital and print, can I for example subscribe for the printed version with my local shop?
A: Well the digital version will be available for download from our website, the print copy is still debatable, maybe my friends at IDW might print and distribute to comic shops etc.

Q: Are you planing to release more WWR or WWRp robots with a canister (the one from WWRp MK3.5 Bertie package), just like the sketches of the first Bertie MK1 suggested?
A: How about a canister pack! that might be fun and stupid, 1 pack of canisters and some weapons.. man I need a list of WWRp weapons..

Q: What does MOMBA EDO stand for? Do EDO act like human TKs, are they capable of anything a TK can do? What are their strengths and weaknesses compared to regular clones?
A: They act like guards, not much talk but always watching and considering the situation, they dont chat, but can issue commands or statements that aid in the safety of its wards. They are machines, smart , but still machines that are programmed to protect at all costs! Like any machine, a situation far enough out of its sphere will be trouble! The period of no TK's is the EDO period in my Popbot universe, its a dark time, almost medieval in tone, it doesnt last long, but its a shit time and the EDO are like the knights of the universal realm, something to look to for protection!

Q: You are probably asked a lot…but what about Iron Man and when we might see it at Bamba?
A: Well first week of Feb is Bambastark week, or around then, but its REALLY CLOSE, there are four variants, Classic, Silver Centurian, Stark Industries Prototype and the Stealth! Prototype is 3AA only as a single, or available in the mega 4 pack display box edition.

Q: After 2000AD transition into 1/12th scale, would you consider releasing the Mongrol figure again for the fans that went 1/6?
A: I would, but there were not many takers first time around, are there enough now ? Maybe an Orange Version etc mmmmmmm

Q: Will Tommy Mission be available on Bambaland after NYCTF and is there a chance for AK Zomb, 10FG and Zombkin 1:1 t-shirts?
A: You mean the 1/12th, well those shown are prototypes for the Retail display box thingy, so you can get the Tommy from that set at retail. We constantly hear that you guys want more range at retail, so this is response, plus I think its col to be able to walk into a shop and pick a figure from a display etc For t-shirts, yes, need to find time to put them up!

Q: Obvious question after all 1/12th Adventure Kartel teasers, will you make Custards (and other dogs) in 1/12th scale?
A: Custards, see the blog! or err, you would have seen them as ill put up soon as i finish this list of questions!


Q: Is there a chance to see Thrice Naut and Post Fire (Men from N.O.M) in WWR Evol?
A: maybe

Q: Are you still going to put up Bob Ross type painting tutorials, or will that be covered in the 3A magazine?
A: Well as i dont have a simple way of painting, and that was a joke, so no tutorials from me!

Q: How big in relation to a person are the T.O.T.E.M thug suits? More so are they like a suit of armor OR more of a mech/vehicle with the driver/pilot housed in the body cavity? After analyzing the art, I am interested if the pilot is contained just in the torso or is encased in it like a suit with the upper helmet/shoulders worn almost like a hat on top of the skull?
A: You will see soon!

Q: Some time ago you recommended The Nao of Brown on your blog which I really enjoyed, have you read anything noteworthy since then? Please do share.
A: Nothing of that standard, I read lots of non fiction these days… nothing to recommend! But you know you cant go wrong with Alan Moore Swamp thing!

Seamonkey stands approximately 12 inches (30.5cm) tall and 14 inches (35.6cm) tall with fully open cockpit.

Even in 1/12th scale Seamonkey has a lot of presence, width of the figure is around 8 inches (20.3cm).

Seamonkey is equipped with light-up features: illuminated cockpit and engine light. Three LR44 batteries needed to activate them (package doesn't include batteries for safety reasons).

Snowpea is approximately 6 inches (15.2cm) tall with her high heels!


Each GHG figure costs 45USD and comes with two heads (with and without helmet).
