Lack of new Kartel figures is causing the line to fade into obscurity.
Actually, all of the original 3A toy lines have been fading rapidly.
Make way for TKs, Isobelle, and auxiliary licenses like Marvel, Star Wars, Halo/Destiny, transformers, DC and many more!

While I kinda do agree the Deeds Berties is renewing my faith and keeping my hopes up. Although Cowbot should def have been a AK/Popbot release, that's where he fits in.

No mention of Megs in the upcoming figures for 2017. What's happened to him?

Prototype is too expensive to produce at the current stage. Has to be reworked along with the articulation. Gonna be some time

I wonder what went wrong? I always figured it would be just a matter of reusing Ankou-ex body but then again it's good to see they didn't just go for the easy option. Shame it didn't work out.

My guess would be Strigil Body with bulk. Probably top heavy and would fall over easily. I am sure big figures are a engineering challenge when it comes to standing and posing with more weight of thicker arms and parts. Honestly, I think in the end a push back to get it right is far better then to release something where everyone complains. 3A will do good on it I am sure.

Only one that could do a reveal is Ash. He has the prototype somewhere in his studio. Doesn't use the strigoi body, but it is really big. It'll happen at some point, just a matter of when.

See I love hearing intel like this as well. Good on Ash/3A for continuing to push it with character design and such. MegaZomb should be something that breaks a boundary or two. . . cool stuff. Hopefully it all does come together and holds true to the original concept. My biggest want is just to see what direction they went with that big 'ol snargly head sculpt.

Depending on what size or shape 3A is going for, I think they could either use the Ankou EX or Showa TK Trooper bodies for the Megazomb. Thoughts?

Was the Megazomb maybe a 1/4 scale body? I know we've seen a 1/4 scale TK prototype before.

I can't recall the actual height – somewhere around 16"
