nope, flippers only flip figures that they think worth like TKs etc, things like mighty square or birdcage are not worth for them to flip.

I don't post very often but I agree with what everyone is saying. I have around 120 3A figures (mostly WWR and WWRP) and picked up about half direct from 3a and half on the secondary market. I was at SDCC this year and stood in line for about 45 minutes to get a Warbot. They let the first 15 people in line be 3AA members and I was totally cool with that since they paid a premium. But everyone in line that I talked to (or overheard) was bashing 3A for the same stuff being discussed in this thread. Yet we were all loyally lining up to give them more money. The toys are great but the lack of respect for long time customers is pretty dismal. Cheers.
Excellent post this, thanks for sharing 'poonman'. I see this was the first post of yours on here. Welcome to the party buddy!!
Thanks. I was on the old forum too but mostly lurking and listening. Came back in to see what was going on and landed in the middle of the Birdy debate.

Re: Mule Rev 3 [Birdcage]
If we really want to send a message I believe the best place to do it is right here on these forums. I believe that Ash continues to read our posts and listen to our reactions even to this day - despite his account being long gone. There have been many instances of sales being changed, figures being released earlier or later and several other peculiarities that cannot simply be massive coincidences.
Of course, I always advocate emailing 3A directly with strong feelings and criticisms, but I believe that enough noise here will get a reaction; after all, this is the practically the only bastion of '3A talk' there is.

I honestly think 3A don't care. If they can replace a moaning old school fan with 2 new ones they attract with these conventions they put so much time and effort into...then the new fan will probably be a better customer, and go on a spending spree. That's my cynical take.

I'm with you Voleboy, lately it seems 3aa is only there so they can get their annual cash boost every Jan and fuck them after that.

Nice dubsvincejustvince wrote:This is my last WWR figure and I will never open it! I became an MISB collector due to my anxiety. If I keep it sealed he will be perfect and beautiful forever just like in the promo pics! I am the proud owner of #88! That's a low enough number to appease me (anything less than 100 is good imo tbh) but if I see someone here has an even lower number than mine I will cry.

Re: Mule Rev 3 [Birdcage]
there has to be more than simply a mule aspect to this bot, hence the name birdcage. gotta be liek a bird in coal mine type deally to alert grunts of chemical weapons usage. and its 2nd job is muling stuff. if its 1st purpose was to mule i would imagine Ash would design it to have more bags on it ya know? or ammo drums stuff grunts couldnt carry.

Re: Mule Rev 3 [Birdcage]
Well, I was hoping there would be a variant loaded with cannons since we never got that Mighty Square turret idea in figure form. I speculated before that the odd design of the Birdcage may be defensive in nature - multiple crouching units could form an effective shield wall with their protruding front armor. Which would be ideal for urban riot scenarios or for advancing the front in a trench warfare situation.

I don't suppose these Pre-Mades are going to make the 2-4 week shipping estimate?

Except when it says ships within 2-4 weeks in the product description?
Birdy is pictured with Bertie in Ash's latest instagram post, so looks like they are both shipping soon.

Re: Mule Rev 3 [Birdcage]
He is rather high, larger than I expected and shockingly lightweight for those who've toyed around with Brambles, Large Martins and Armstrongs in the past.
At the same time it feels pretty familiar since the Rothchild / Cordoza TF001 4Squares have the exact same lightweight build and feel.
After playing around with Birdy for a while I notice the low weight helps a lot with posing it.
Weathering is on par with my Caesar 1.5 Beagle.
I like it.

Yep, the Birdcages are pretty light for their size. Personally I like the feel of them, the ABS has a good surface to it and you can pose them in pretty much any position without putting any stress on the joints.

Rothchild shelf gets a bit crammed .
If Ashley decides to release a Digital Camo Jungle Defence Bertie or Alberto I have a problem.
A 4square could sit on top of White engineer Harry.

Re: Mule Rev 3 [Birdcage]
Just out of curiosity, does anyone here have any plans to mod their Birdcage? This bot design seems like it is one of the most customize able designs from WWR.
