Agree on all points by the way, and still think any more than a couple means riding it out for maximum impression when the set is finally complete. It's not about having 12 distinctly different bots. It's about a huge magnificent squad of very similar ones. That's where their uniqueness lies. How many complete sets will exist 2 years from now?
Hi ESeffinga! For me it would be about having a squad of 12 unique bots making up a squad, not a squad of very similar ones. If that was the case then there is no difference to buying a load of Iron Panda Dropcloths and making an Iron Panda Dropcloth set (this is just an example). But still, 12 Dirty Deeds Berties all lined up in a row on a shelf..........oh my!! The more I talk about them...........

It seem there's a few of us here that are 5 deep in this line! But the question I think we all want to know...! Is there a pay off (besides an awesome Bertie squad) to continue to 12??? I don't think I'm alone in wishing 3A would give us some incentive..! Hint, hint...

I would be up for a MK1 Square. And since it's such a small figure that would be the cheapest option for ThreeA.

Mk1 square has been done before and Ash said he retired the Mk1 but a Mk2 would be cool... heck anything would be better than just ignoring us.

They have acces to the Bertie Mk1 arms they're used for Bramble Mk2 and obviously the gun as well since it is used in a threeaonline.com splash screen which shows the never released 1:6th Merc Bramble.
I know it isn't good but I quote my own 2 week old post for the pic.
gar wrote:I have enough heads as well.
Would be nice if threeA finally released this Machine gun.
I wouldn't mind to see Bertie with a Bertie SMRTGUN or CLAXTON80 either.
Or a scaled back Bertie Mk3 Franchi SPAS-12 Shotgun

And yeah I agree with everything you guys just said. Cthulhu, Plastic & ESesfinga.
I am pretty optimistic as well,
threeA has shown to be able and willing to handle pretty low edition size numbers in the past (Harold and Mighty Square) so I don't see really big issues for them bringing this platoon together eventually.
If necessary they can always put one or a couple of classic Bertie Mk2 colorways up at the same time to increase production numbers.

Re: Bertie MK2
How many years did it take to finish the 7 Bones?
I think by the time you might even get to #10, the cost may have gone up to well over $200 per bot.

#5 jumped $10 compared to the previous 4 with no explanation.

Re: Bertie MK2
I was thinking that maybe the increase in price could be due to the new grenades, or maybe even new severed head sculpts? New heads would be a nice touch to mix it up a bit. Also wondering if the grenades will be exclusive to DD5 or if they might become a standard feature on future Deeds Berties. It will be interesting to see the load-out and price of DD6, whenever that may be. It would be great to hit the even half-dozen of these guys on Bambaland before the year ends but at this rate I don't think that's likely.

Re: Bertie MK2
New parts to account for and lower sales numbers. Ultimately you're still getting a pretty incredible bot figure for under $200 and free shipping.

Forever the salesman gregory. Bumping the price due to low sales isn't going to help as it may only deter more people from buying. Do you think these sales numbers are going to further hurt our chances of seeing 1/6th Berties in additional colorways?

Re: Bertie MK2
Personally, I think the Dirty Deeds colorway just isn't exciting enough to merit a long-term, monthly $200 figure purchase for most people. It's not like the WWRp Shitty 9 that each have a unique colorway and bot design. Face it, you're buying the same figure every month with some different accessories. It got old after #3 was released and people began to think "Oh shit, do I really want to pay for twelve of the same figure hogging my collection space?"
Really, if you're going to release a bunch of similar figures, you have to sell them in one big pack - like the JEA MiM set, or the more recent Civic Defense 6-pack. Lower sales numbers should be an indication to move onto something new, not raise prices for a product no one wants to buy because they already have 2 or 3...

I might be good to mix in a Medic or other inbetween the Dirty colorways. Every other month could be a different colorway.

I don't think there is anything I'd be more impressed with than seeing some of the OG colorways pop up in 1/6

Congrats gundamben! I've been one of those clamoring for the Dirty Dozen in 1/6 scale since we got the WWRp set back in 2009 and I'm ecstatic that it's finally happening!

Hate to sound like a pest but I thought DD#4 was slated to ship for September but still no word yet? Did it get delayed until October now?

Re: Bertie MK2
Shipping dates slip. Simple, Annoying, but fact based answer.
I would have expected to see a DD #4 in one of the pics CICF EXPO2016, though.
But #5 looks pretty satisfying

But those little pistols, may have to display him with machete & cleaver (forgot about the cleaver) and maybe a bandolier for the grenades.
