What does 'entered the shipping process' actually mean?

Re: shipping schedule visualized
Death is likely getting placed in boxes, boxes are getting labeled, contact is being made with shipping companies to arrange transport, etc. I.e. shipping process. So not technically shipped, but finished being assembled, packaged and getting closer to being on a truck, plane boat or whatever.

Which isn't shipped at all. It's like privatised train companies adding 5 minutes to a routes travel time so that they're never late. If they ain't out the door they ain't shipped. Words have meaning.

From the current update, TK Ninja, DD1, 10" Shadow and Red Panda Shadow. I've had a pretty uneventful year when it comes to bamba orders, so after that it's just Ultron I'm waiting on.
Holding onto some cash in case any new and interesting 1/6 figure pops up during Halloween though.

Re: shipping schedule visualized
Heavy Loper,... ohhh how you vex me.
With every shipping update comes further confirmation that no one has any idea when the thing is actually going to be shipped. December 2015 will be 1 year from the estimated shipping date of the figure at time of sale. It's honestly just nutty at this point, regardless of how big the bot head is.
I guess it's not as bad as the "free" perk figures or contest prizes, in comparison. Crazy when you think about it all.
This year may be similar in comparison to last year with overdue shipping, but imo it seems much worse because we've already gone through this headache for several years. That's the difficult part for me. I still enjoy my figures but have honestly been sticking around waiting for the "this year is going to be different" to mean something, especially for 3AA members. Ugh.

It's been 13 months since I ordered this set? And it's still not delivered yet. Would love to know the actual reason for such a damn long delay in delivering this. Too many lines/commitments??

Re: shipping schedule visualized
im not the same person i was 2 days ago, let alone the person i was a year ago. hence my prob with these silly long PO waits. was all gung ho for 3Z until they have slipped into 3A's pattern. really have grown to hate PO's via this behavior from certain companies. i get it there can be complications in the factory/production but to this extent? the entire idea of paying now so you wont have to when it ships is lost when you consider the wait is so long you wont even want it when its time to ship. interests change, new things pop up etc
anyone else feel the same? am i the only one with huge dip in interest during the long waits? i think with threeA it can be even worse cuz its not like there is a ongoing comic that can rekindle your interest during the wait, with Ash gone from forum and the Q+A dead its even worse. toys for me are a extension of enjoying a fictional character or world. thats hard to do when there is no drip of intel.
"give us the full price upfront, you will get the toy when its ready, that estimate is way off btw add a few or more months to that, we dont know how many and to be honest have no idea when you will get what you paid for"
fuck that
dd2 and ninja have shipped and that clears my list for what 3A has money for i think and it feels damn good really damn good.

Re: shipping schedule visualized
I agree that the year+ long waits seem a bit crazy. I can understand a 6 month to 9 months, but over a year with no feedback or information is not reassuring.
Hex is hitting 1 year as of next Saturday.
TKlub Irimi's hit 1 year yesterday
Cowbot Footcutter based if a drawing was 1 year Sept 26th (and only saw proto shot last week I think)
Heavy Duty Loper Set hit 1 year Sept 1st. (still haven't seen a complete shot of the set)
That's 4 items over a year when in the past it usually is around 6-8 months. So some are 4 months longer, others 5 months longer. My issue is that we don't hear much about them. I've only recently seen the Cowbot figure pic after a year and a month since I preordered it based on a drawing. Now that I saw pics I am kinda disappointed with it so I'll likely sell it. (guess that depends on what I decide when I get it)
I get that things can take longer than expected. Mondo's Iron Giant was slated for Nov or Dec and now pushed back to 2016, so I get that things happen, but Sideshow told us (also notorious for delays)
If anything, I think 3A needs to communicate better on items going past expected shipping times. Give us a teaser, a sample shot, something to remind us to be excited for the figure. Hex is such a lost opportunity. She'd been perfect for this Halloween and she should have been done by then. Even still, where is her sample shots to get us excited?
So yeah, I get that. I lose a bit of excitement for a figure when it takes far too long.
I'm disappointed with the shipping this year. For all I was expecting to ship in August, 4 of those were close to a year old and now are past that year mark
I think 3A needs to get Q&A back, show more samples for delayed items, and maybe take this year and see where things went wrong so that 2016 is worth joining membership again. There really is no excuse to have 2015 toys for shows premade while 2014 toys aren't done yet.

Re: shipping schedule visualized
just a bit confuse about shipping notice for Bo-TQ & K1971 TK
so far I know there's 2 variants each:
Bo-TQ - Slippery Attack
Bo-TQ - Rabbit Tamer
K1971 - No Name
K1971 - Architect
are these 4 all shipped, or just Slippery Attack & No Name only, and Rabbit Tamer & Architect later?
because I checked FB groups & IGs, all photos only consist No Name TK, and not a single photo of Architect.
