3AA 2018 - FUTURE MORT 13!

Sad, but I kind of saw it coming.

I'm happy to say I have 10 3AA membership cards.

But also, when things stop working well, it is time to change. 3A was always about commotion and evolution, so here's hoping for the best for the future of the company

I'm serious here though, I signed up this year just so I wouldn't miss out on WWR stuff. Specifically Bramble, Deeds and Alberto, it was said that there were lots of stuff coming in 2018 and if you didn't join you'd miss them. I signed up on that basis and so far only bought a Bramble from last year's membership so come on, at least one Deeds or Alberto before we get kicked out.

I agree Skipper! I really appreciate all the info of late, but it'd be nice to know if we'll be getting any more drops on Bamba before our membership ends!? And I mean Ash's IP's, not licensed stuff!

Sad to see the end of 3AA. 2018 was the first time I passed on it after being a member for six years, and it was a tough choice. Ultimately, I haven't regretted it as my discount would only have been used on one purchase this year and 3A's promises/threats about limited availability of WWR came to nothing. 2000ad is gone too. I hope 3A will get back on track this year but it will have to work even harder now it is walking away from so many of the things that made it unique.

I think we wont see anymore releases boys. Remember, thats kinda hurting them. So why offer more figs with the discount? Unless Gregory can fill us in, but I wouldn't continue selling figs if it ment bleeding myself dry.

Gotta certainly look back at all the stuff 3A has put out in the past 10 years, it's a lot! My collection is comprised mainly of 3a (popbot, ak, wwr and metal gear) and there was definitely some very awesome designs like dropcloths, blind cowboy, tk hunter, dead astro, fat ankou, squares and caesar's, to name a few... I got a lot of stuff from 3a, and my only regret I have is that I should of never started collecting in 1:6 because 3a made it an addiction.

One page back Gregory said there will be more Ash designed releases this year! I think a couple more Ash designed drops would be a good gesture to all those who signed up this year and to everyone who’s been part of 3AA over the last decade! I’m really going to miss the anticipation of the membership reveal each January! Sad to see it end, It’s been fun!

If you look closely at the last shot you can see the plastic "stand" on the feet. The rest of the shots don't use it.

I guess CS and 3A figured it all out.

I wouldn't bet on it.
There's an easy fix for 3A. Insert a 1/8ish flat metal blank in the mold of the right longer leg in the shape of the foot. When the plastic is filled in the mold that foot will be level with the other. Clean up the flash and paint.

Yes, 3A figured out how to take glamour shots many years ago. Quality control . . . Not so much.

C'mon Gregory, you can't seriously believe that. Obviously the tray was only made for packaging/shipping purposes and was never meant to be a stand. Such a cop out, hugely disappointed in 3A for not owning up to an obvious flaw.

Tell it to Kim and Ash and Siu and CS. I've relayed all your complaints. Their response is that is the stand.

I just want to know if the DDv2 Alberto is going to drop before my membership runs out? I’m mean the proto has been ready for so long, he’s been displayed at a few events now! Just feels like he’s not being offered on purpose so we can’t get the discount! I love 3A and I’m trying my hardest to stay positive!

Have you checked it with all your Fang Gals?
It's packed in foam, the absolute last thing it needs is that extra piece of plastic for packaging/shipping purposes.
It's a stand.
Maybe not very nice but it is the least obstructive stand they could make.
