Yeah and it's made of resin from what I read. So yeah, blind cowboy's horse was resin and that set was $270 in 2011? So fast forward to present day and you're looking at most likely beyond $300.

Bot head is roughly 11x14x17" with the base. Bot Head is all resin

The base is made out of aluminum, so it's very sturdy

It is a limited edition with equal amounts made available for both the webstore and the Tmall

Pre-orders will go live second week of November for Underverse.com and a little bit earlier for Tmall

Those 1:1 Ashtros were $625 + shipping ($590 via air / $360 via sea)

Yeah, I'd prefer a lighter vinyl one with actual leather helmet straps.

But hopefully this one sells out.

I said f$¢k it I “need” this. Absolutely stunning piece.
I’m wondering if the straps are separate pieces and will be shipped unattached. I fear there could be the possibilty of breakage like the issues with the Interloper severed bot head years back.

I also slept on it shocked to see it was still available in the AM. Not sure what time it sold out but checked at noon central time and gone. I agree with the pain of biting the bullet but let’s be honest this thing is going to be in a class of “II wish I should have purchased” for a lot of people.

I also worry about the hanging straps being brittle and curious if they did build as one full peace or if the chin straps are detachable. My gut says all one peace pulled from one mold cast.

Also a Meta thought- could this be a WWR nom head without face mask? Just playing around with ideas but I know it’s really from pet metal illustrations. Fun to think it though.

A surprisingly easy score. I logged in a few minutes before drop time only to see them up already. I quickly logged into my account only to see my account was not recognized, and I was frantically trying to log in without success. I tried to enter a new account using my same information only for the site to finally recognize me for some strange reason. I frantically ran through the purchase process with confirmation only to find them available for much longer than expected. I was hoping they would've sold out before I could purchase as I was truly torn on whether I wanted to find the space for this beast. I guess I was in the camp of I'd rather have and not regret later.
Now we wait.....

Actually I logged in 10 mins before it went live (5:50p LA time) but went through the whole mental tennis of should I or shouldn’t I all day. This will be a wicked standalone/centerpiece. Unfortunately I also feel this will be a single cast.

I saw somewhere on FB that the 1:1 stuff (this and the squares) are delayed in shipping. Possibly COVID related factory lockdown if I’m not mistaken.

Yes, there was a post on the website and social media in March announcing both items were delayed til Q2
