Q: Can you please share some info on new Les Mort figure? How different is it going to be from old one?
A: Future Mort will land one day as part of the AK line, the skull faced characters will pop up more and more in the AK world. Difference will be a Mort that has fought his way back front the future, so he ain't a dandy like the original release!

Q: What's the biggest challenge of making LASSTRANAUT figure, which been in production for a while now?
A: Waiting to get it right, like all the figure outside License stuff, its all me and my whims. Lasstranaut is slowly changing and I want to make sure its the right one, not just a figure for the sale of it, could shave sold it 4 years ago but i want to give my best, for me and you. Like Zomb MD, I have had the idea of him for a long time, but only now was I sure it was 100% right!

Q: Is there a way to maintain certain level of paint / complication on GID fig sculpt without losing the glowing ability of the material? So that the effect would be close to regular figure in day time, but shine a little in the dark ?
A: If you add the same amount of say weathering it will lose that GID feel, I have played around with it, and it doesn't look that much different and you lose the reason to make it GID. The GID stuff is a particular fetish, its cool for what it does, I like the pop art feel of it, especially the blue GID. For the GID easy corp, I have then a different approach where there skin is GID and clean but everything else is dirty etc, so it creates a nice contrast in low light etc.

Q: When we might hear what's the story behind Bambalandstore points?
A: When we have it all worked out, its just there for now.

Q: Will we ever see Pacific Rim (in metal grey paint application) Berite MK3 or any other WWR figures in Pacific Rim colorway? Will WWRp Bertie MK3.5 makes more appearances?
A: I guess it comes down to do enough want it, I have stated I would love to make every colorway for every bot, but alas the support just isn't there to make it always break even affair. Say with the Jungler Armstrong, Im going to make the at as it seems some support, ill take it as a test and if all goes well we will look into more!

Q: About slogans, which could partially reveal WWR backstories:
*Why Deep Powder slogan is "frigide hassen" which means "hate cold"? A: I originally conceived it as COLD HATE , guess thats a fail on my dodgy translation..
*Why Iron Panda has slogan "fuck the reds?" A: MARTIANS are the red, coz they come from a RED planet
*What is the meaning of 80 in JEA Marine logo? A: they are part of the 80th corp

Q: Last time in Q&A you gave hints of next Ma.K figure release. Is it still on schedule and when it might hit Bamba?
A: Still going, its a long process that all side wants to get 100% right

Q: What were role models / companies which Ashley Wood and Kim Fung Wong used to build and establish 3A? Especially during first and second year. Was it tough to start financially?
A: We didn't really think outside of making cool toys, money wasn't a discussion, as it was all poured back into 3A, the thrill of making the toys did and still does outweigh financial concerns. Of course having income outside of toys helps ! Kim and I know that in the end good toys will succeed, sometimes slowly but they will get there, crap toys will be forgotten. Its natures way.

Q: Would 3A ever consider some sort of "design a figure competition"?
A: We would and will, lets do it! A 1/6th toy. BUT it cannot have any design elements from 3A or be over the top as it costs a fuckload to dev 1/6th that is simple ! (Gimbat: We will have more details about the contest available later on, stay tuned! )

Q: Will we see other means of transport in WWREvol/AK, other than mentioned bikes and choppers?
A: Look, I want these more than anyone, but WWR needs the support, contrary to popular belief we don't make thousands upon thousands of them, to make vehicles requires good support in orders! I have the BERTIE FLYBOY that well transports Berties , the Lindberg , Imagine a manned Armstrong, I have a bike/sidecar combo etc. You know I just need to pushed and prompted, hate to say it, always do like lame record, its just me bumbling along, I forget shit, remind me and ill do my best to push stuff through!

Q: Will we see Modern Girls at Bamba before 2013 ends?
A: I was going to, but the bike didn't look god enough I have it right behind me, its just seems undercooked, Im going to redo them, Modern Girls is like LAsstranaut, its matters to me, fuck I could have churned it all out and probably would have have sold with none the wiser, but I know, I gotta sleep with me at night, and thats the rub.

Q: Will there be More DC1.5U at Bambalandstore?
A: Do you want them, i Do! Tell me and 3A!!!

Q: Are Martian Soldiers / Marian slogger still on schedule this year?
A: Pushing hard, Im trying to make WWR toys better all the time, therefore takes longer. EXILED Rothchild will be the first EVOL fig offered, he is cool and different to the first in many ways, as I mentioned years ago there will be three Rothchild's releases, Exiled is the second!

Q: Will we see rejected prototypes at one of WO3A magazine? And is there a chance to devote one issue showing step by step figure production at Hatchery?
A: You will see stuff never released in WO3A, I think it will be one of the interesting parts, but no plans to show how we make stuff in detail, for many reasons from professional secrecy to much isn't visually exciting!

Q: Will you be interested in making Medieval figures with some armor, helmets and stuff like that?
A: Only if it has context to a story etc, I can't get into stuff just for the sake of a toy etc.

Q: What will be first WWREvol release and when?
A: EXILED ROTHCHILD Soon as possible, but making some calls I'm told it will be a December/Jan fig!

Q: Will we see more 3A Parade figures and more fruits of Swank and 3A collaboration? Will 3A consider making more urban vinyl figures and perhaps cooperation with some fashion companies?
A: PARADE will indeed be offering more fashion and urban fashion figures. Fruit, well I don't know, the Apple isn't just a throw away fruit, but the APPLE from EDEN, so its a DARK APPLE or LIGHT APPLE, depending on what side you stand! PARADE will be almost separate line, 3A imprint if you will. We will be working with established clothing companies and developing our own.. Just because I wear black tshirt and shorts, doesn't mean I have no interest in fashion!

Q: WWR JEA fractions has almost all types of bots, does it indicate that JEA Marine play key role?
A: JEA is a MARINE CORP, equipped to to handle most situations in a rapid way, they are the US's premier MARINE CORP in the WWR world. I love JEA, but I'm going to introduce a new CORP in the EVOL storyline, a more HOMELAND centric version, where JEA hung in the PACIFIC more.

Q: Will 3A have the show in Hong Kong next year?
A: I think HK has had enough, we are interested in spreading the wings beyond where we have had them, Japan, Europe, USA etc. Soon as stuff is nailed down we will shout about it!

Q: Can we please have photos or more info of MK2 Berties that are coming with N.O.M Field Commanders?
A: Nope, not yet!

Q: Where do you draw your daily inspiration from? How did you come up with dark World War Robot world?
A: I don't look at other fictional works anymore, I listen to music, watch in search of dvds as my main inspiration!

Q: Who is your most favorite Popbot character?
A: Kitty.

Q: With WWREvol almost upon us, will we see Rothchild in WWRp?
A: I hope so! But the 1/6th new Rothchild will happen before that.

Q: WWRp Squares massive pack is still happening?
A: I think so, just getting onto the schedule.

Q: Will WWR weapons & accessory pack, which is still in the works transits to WWREvol now?
A: yup EVOL AMMO DROP SET.

Q: Will we see Popbot Slicer TQ and perhaps more Popbot Slicer TKs?
A: TQ's re not slicers, there is a heavy Slicer TK coming.

Q: Can you please reveal more about next 7Bones character?
A: Well it was gonna be a chunky body TK, but that has taken so long, so I might move on to speed the 7B up!

Q: Will there be an option at Bambalandstore, for people who want to make bulk purchase of EVENFALL TOTEM T.H.U.G suits to customize?
A: Maybe Ill offer a MODEL HACKERS SET, Ill figure it out. The OSM series will continue soon with the ZERO G THUG !

Q: How is MARS initiative going? Are you satisfied with talent response to it?
A: Its a work in progress, should shave some news to share soon.

Q: Is threeA interested in Half-life license?
A: We have it, Freeman and set soon.

Q: What's next for MGS and threeA collaboration after RAY? Would be great to see Ashley Wood's Cyborg Ninja.
A: Some cool news on that soon.

Q: How is the writing and art coming along for Beautiful War? Will it come out in volumes, or a one and done complete novel?
A: IDW the publisher want a single volume or at worst two large volumes, so I'm kinda stuck toiling away with TP.

Q: A nurse figure will be coming out with Zomb MD, but any word on War Nurse Jessica in the WWR line? Any hints on if it will be a standard nurse, or something off-the-wall like the Supreme NOM Mother?
A: You will have to see, Jessica is happening too, EVOL NURSE.. thats sounds cool to me.

Q: EVENFALL themed 3AA package or any clues about upcoming 3AA 2014 membership?
A: Well I have an idea, actually a lot, does a EVENFALL theme jive with you cats ?

Q: Will you consider offering more carded t-shirts at Bambalandstore? Or perhaps threeA themed hats or tote bags, like are used at the events? Would love to rock such a bag during shopping!
A: Im hoping to offer a shirt a month, some say offer white shirts, but doesn't just make an easy target at night! I think a bag would be cool… LASSTRABAG!

Q: What’s behind the name Popbot? Is it something from your past? Is the ‘Pop’ short for something?
A: POPBOT is a term for computer networks, plus its the word POP. I’m a fan of POP artists as well. It seemed natural to put POP with BOT , bot obviously short for ROBOT.

Q: Will we see Isobelle in 1/12th scale?
A: nope

Q: Is WWR Oscar still on your radar or Bertie MK3 will remain biggest threeA bot?
A: SUPPORT is all I need!

Q: With making horror classics, like Zomb and Mumbs (and possible Dracula fig) is there a chance for AK Bigfoot?
A: Well the Zomb and Mumb have a reason to be there, not just monsters for monsters sake, the Bigfoot is cool, as its so dumb, but as of yet there are no plans !

Q: Would you ever give us the option for an art themed 3AA Member pack? Instead of a toy, offer up say Fuck-It #5 instead? Add in a Fuck-It shirt and a Fuck-It tote, maybe a print, plus the card and discount of course. There could be a toy option as well for the vinyl fiends.
A: The cost of making the set always outweighs the price, and making different versions would kill us. Just buy FI5 , ill make a FUCK IT tote if people want it!

Q: Can you please give us an update about Popbot #9 and WWR Deluxe book?
A: Work is done on one, the other carries on, but as they are published by IDW I have to play by other rules.

Q: Will we see new Tomorrow Queens outside of TKLUB bonus fig?
A: YES!!!! Early 2014, and in TKLUB 2014.

Q: Will Harold bots be offered again via Bamba or retail?
A: Retail, will see a new range…sometime.

Q: How soon Jungler Armstrong (which we raised support for) might become available at Bambalandstore?
A: Ha, funny, the only sample is in my warehouse.. I gotta find, photograph it and put it on bamba. The last of the Armstrong mk1! so, soon as I can, WF yo!

Q: How are Microman going? I can’t wait to get my hands on ‘em!
A: We are looking at a November sale, I would love to show you guys, but Takara runs the show, and rightly so!

Q: Very excited after another EVENFALL reveal at ACG in Guangzhou. How close are these 1/6th scale figures to production and which one might be first?
A: Alien goes on sale in November, then the suit should be close behind in the new year, TOTEM will be a major line for us, I’m excited about it!

Q: Any chance that you can acquire “Pacific Rim” movie license? threeA would nail those juggernauts!
A: No plans yet, great designs though !

Q: Are any Lore comic figures currently in the works and if they are, which ones are they?
A: Yes, actually, Jennifer and Johnathan.

Q: Will we see classic WWR factions in WWREvol as well? Like EMGY, Medic, DW &NW and others?
A: Those factions and many more actually fad or become outlaws, EMGY is disbanded due to their high death rate of civilians and and become a guerrilla unit, DW and NW become NOM factions as we know already, MEDIC is always medic, but in EVOl there isn’t much time to save the injured !

Q: Are you going to continue Duo Star Racers comic?
A: Well DUOSTAR needs to be right, I have figures and vehicles in my office, but not right and therefore I cannot ask people to support it. Maybe ill work with a creative partner on it, I think on this daily!

Q: Will we see a Tomorrow Queen and King two-pack set in the future?
A: I was thinking about that, I would say early new year, a covert team etc, or sum in like that, maybe a couple, a rare moment of love in a terrible time!

Q: What’s the story behind Shit Got Real JC? Is he on fucking Robot Island fighting robots, must be harder than fighting Zombs hence “shit got real” for JC. Is that what you had in mind as well? And will we see other “SHIT GOT REAL” versions of AK characters or is that just a JC thing?
A: It’s the next phase of JC’s life, as he believes a harder stance is needed as there are too many zombis, mumbs and other crazy shit!

Q: I’m always curious about knowing more about Adventure Kartel characters, are for instance Cold Dick and Bleak Mission the same and Flakey Frost / Little shadow, what about Snow Paw?
A: Mostly the name changes occur when they are doing shit they don’t want to be known or pinned for! I really wanna show you guys what I have in my head, just takes time, hang in there with me!

Q: Will one or both sides of TKLUB Ronin Oya Suns collar be able to open with velcro, so he can be displayed with head visible and collar flat around neck? Can you please reveal / hint more about Ronin Oya Sun?
A: You can remove the whole collar thingy, or position as you like, its rather nifty, and with some thought many combos can be attained, ill get more images out showing this before the sale. Sun and Moon represent a shift or rather flaw in the TK genetic line, becoming more individual as they grow older, hence the need for G2 TK, coming after Sun!

Q: The Grunts is know to be the cheapest weapon on the battlefield and bots (especially big ones) are the most expensive. Is there something in-between in WWR world, let’s say combining wounded humans and broken robots? In war recycling could mean profit as well?
A: Well Rothchild like robots, the idea of a combo, or say giving a crippled solider robotic legs doesn’t fly, the drop cloth is the logical middle ground , but it makes sense business size for Rothchild to keep both worlds separate. EVOL wil show how he has to evolve and change his methods though !

Q: Any chance of a reprint of the AK Primer for new guys and gals or big Adventure Kartel book with old and new stories?
A: YES, actually something cool real soon, very bit of stuff so far, and new!

Q: Do you love Transformers? any chance for us to see 3A x Transformers in the future?
A: mmm …

Q: Will you consider expanding your Real Steel license, to make remaining fighting robots?
A: We are making them all if you guys support it, Noisy Boy is coming up this month, or early Nov.

Q: Can you please elaborate about C.O.O or hint what does it change potentially for threeA and Legion?
A: C>O>O is a manifesto for 3A, and me, the meaning will be revealed later as its too broadly interpreted, 3A isn’t a normal company driven by normal things!

Q: Will there ever be AK 1:1 scale heads release or perhaps new 1:1 kitties?


A: Yes to heads, and new kitties!!! As we manifest on this plain, totems are needed, as a way to show where you stand !

Q: What can we expect from TKLUB going forward, realistically might it work out to about six figures a year, or will it always be unpredictable? Will for instance we see a pack of three original TK t-shirts in 1:1 scale and etc.
A: Yea, I don’t wanna work to a plan, the figures that are released are basically my internal story I have for TK’s, but I think a t-shirt pack of original TK shirts is cool, we will mix it up when it seams apt!

Q: Do characters like the Golden Zombot, Lemon Guard, or the Downside among others exist in physical form at least like in a drawing or sketch? Or are they just mental amoebas still trying to take shape?
A: Golden Zombot is real, already ! Lemon guard too, the Downside is a buddy of the Golden Dolphin, maybe the most fucked up character in the entire Adventure Kartel world!

Q: How do the Strigoi Aliens (from EVENFALL) feed on their victims? If they indeed feed/lifedrain.
A: You will see!

Q: Can you please share any details about movies based on your Intellectual property, which are in production, like Popbot, WWR, Lore and Zombies vs Robots?
A: Popbot is going well, we have many attached but until we have it locked, it just continues in pre-production and such, we have quite a lot to show for our time, but me and Ford are looking at making a film that well defies what you can do, or why bother! Lore is going well too, and there should due some info soon, but thats a Warner Bros thing, ZvR is looking for a director last I heard, I guess I’m not cool enough to do it! WWR is in a similar position to ZvR!

Q: Would you ever consider putting out painting tutorials, or behind the scenes toy designing videos? Or perhaps some insights shared in WO3A?
A: I will show toy designs and how they start and how I work with Siu to get them into your hands etc. Its kinda fun, trick is showing it so its looks interesting!

Q: We know that you are constantly drawing, whether it’s in the sketchbook, napkins or anything else which is around. Do you keep all your drawings or just the ones made in sketchbooks? How many sketchbooks you go through per year?
A: I have many sketchbooks, loose pages, this and that, I’m pretty OCD for drawing and cut through literally 1000′s of pieces of paper a year. Though many look like shit, some are looking great and I see no reason to slow down as one day my hand and eyes won’t be in sync! I might take another photo of the latest drawings on the floor for my blog, thanks for the idea!

Q: When we might hear some background stories about two new Squares shown at ACG?


A: Well the blue and white FAT CLOUD one is data tower on legs, they roam around giving better coverage of the FAT CLOUD data system, which is used by most peeps on earth, of course its a ROTCHILD company! FREMANTLE Square is a dock worker from the port of well.. FREMANTLE.

Q: I was a big fan of the clear boxes with a slip case some of the 1/6th figures use to come in like Tracey TQ, is there any chance that these will ever be used again? Maybe even for Isobelle?
A: Yes, actually I’m a fan, hence the SWANK stuff !!!

Q: Will Bear Pasha be offered as singles only or perhaps there would be an option to buy 2pack / 3pack?
A: Well I dunno actually, normally I figure that shit out on the day I make an ad, I have not heard from the Pascha ether whats the best way, though a 3 pack would due nice, maybe in clear boxes etc….

Q: Will there every be any kind of lighting effects put on the robots from World War Robot universe or the new World Best Robots?
A: If they make sense, yup!

Q: Will we see a parasite/vamp/alien in the EVENFALL OSM series? Also any chance the next 0g T.H.U.G suit will include a unpainted pvc pilot figure to stand next to it etc.?
A: If there is demand for OSM yes, there will be all the TOTEM characters, from THUG to pilot, the OSM is the Zero G THUG, we shall see how it does.

Q: Is HALO Master Chief dropping this year?
A: Fingers crossed, I want that one a lot!

Q: Can you please tell us a bit of the story about Ronin TK Moon and Ronin Oya Sun, how their life was different, why Oya Sun has SUP-Bomb and etc. Any info will be appreciated!
A: Not enough room to put down why they chose to leave the path, and it kinda gives a large part of the mystery of TK away… one day.

Q: Are you gonna make a villain version of Auroral or any Isobelle figures? She looks always so smiley and happy, so perhaps there is a chance of seeing evil and angry expression on her face?
A: Well Kreigstein is coming and Cray ( male characters ), they make trouble, but Pascha is always happy, as she always comes out on top…

Q: Are there plans for Mortis figures in the near future?
A: When we have the technique thats needed, Lasstranaut is helping with that at the moment!

Q: Any chance that we might see those 3A Parade x Swank apples at Bambalandstore?
A: The apples are called AUTUMN APPLES and yes there will be a big Apple and t-shirt offered soon, actually its good to go, so soon!

Q: Can you please elaborate about World Best Robots line, whether it’s part of Popbot or on it’s own now and will we see an articulated Brambleton Hardacre as part of WBR?
A: WBR is a separate universe, its evolved from my original idea into something much bigger and more fun, the first Robot to be offered is MARS, he is 24″ tall, my nod to the awesome SHOGUN WARRIOR 24″ figs of old! Each robot has a specific job etc, it takes years to get from my mind and solidify, but its very soon for a debut.

Q: With latest releases, we are seeing Tomorrow Kings in more mature / older age. Will we see an older version of the Slicer Kyu or others? And we still have the fire burning for Archer TK (any info would be appreciated as well)!
A: YUP, the original genetic line is aging, failing an the powers that introduce G2 TK’s from a different bloodline, they look a little different etc… Archer TK and baby TK is in the works, part of the new TKLUB TQ promo if all goes well!

Q: With the release of Cold Merde circa 1936, will there be other figures around the 1936 storyline?
A: I would like too, Merde’s partner, Oyster Doubleshot, the Princeps bot would be cool. Merde is the catalyst for all the crazy, he kinda went where no one ever should!

Q: What AK Cardboard Cathedral consists of now (or it’s still the same idea) and what we need to do, to make it happen?
A: Well I need a cardboard engineer I guess, I have the design, but making into a product that just works is tricky, I want my JC to reside in the AC !

Q: We remember that you were on the hunt for old-school toys few years ago. What toys do you collect these days and do you need any help from Legion?
A: 24″ SHOGUN WARRIORS BOXED, still love MEGO.. always need help, toy sourcing is an art!

Q: What artists would you be interested to collaborate to produce their IP into toys? Mike Mignola’s Hellboy maybe, wink – wink?
A: Mike knows we are there whenever he needs it, I’m so busy managing and designing my own, and the handful of licensed Ip, its make it very hard to think of any others… for now!

Q: Would you consider making VON5 from Popbot?
A: Yup, 5 Bros are on the table, and new Popbot.

Q: With answering on “Pacific Rim” and “Transformers” question, you opened the gates of hell! How about doing robots from “I, Robot” or “District 9″ robots & aliens or perhaps now classic Johnny Five from “Short Circuit” (please say yes to Johnny Five!)?!
A: I love all robots! We have a few surprises for you guys, we are working on stuff not mentioned~

Q: With all the sketching lately, have you had a chance to do any sketches for the Cosplay contest winners? And what’s with all the straight and perfectly cut boards lately? Where are the fucked up edges that are pain in the ass to frame?
A: I have nearly done them , the office ask me daily, really… they aint that straight, I was just trying to match two boards, and they are fucked up!.. I think the reason for better edges is, I use a jigsaw thingy now, I used a box cutter before, im getting more pro as I get older..

Q: Since mostly old generation WWR factions were disbanded, can you give a hint which new faction will be a major and unstoppable force in EVOL world?
A: Its between NOM and EARTH COALITION in the short term, EC have a new company to goto for bot, NOM suck down more smoke, and the Martians just watch and wait, something along those lines.

Q: Are you planning releasing another WWRp one colourway set (like Frosty Choads or Under the Bed Red set back in the day)?
A: I would love too!

Q: Since both Lemon Guard and Golden Zombot exist – can you please make all AK fans happy and show us the blurry? Or artist sketch perhaps or one of DOWNSIDE?
A: I think Lemon guard was seen, ill try and dig up Golden, I kinda have a large issue with too much stuff… WF Armstrong is still MIA, so wanna offer him!

Q: Halloween is almost upon us…so will Zombkin or Hotfoot SURPRISE rise up or Milky Ghosts is all what we are going to see?
A: MILKYS for now, we had another fig, but alas it wont make the cut…..sigh Milkys are great, nothing else is needed !

Q: Now a tricky question, we know that you always have some secrets up in your sleeve…so what is the most kept secret which are you the most excited to reveal in 2014?
A: Well it wouldn’t be a secret if we told !

Q: I would like to know more about M.O.D, and why they become the only real threat to N.O.M?
A: Because MOD have no agenda or restriction, just a bunch of smart people, doing what they do. These guys are like game pirates from the 80′s, showing off, doing the impossible, cracking Rothchild encryption, getting off on be in an elite club etc.

Q: Any chance you can confirm that Lasstranaut is going to be sold sooner, rather than later? Got my 3AA all set so I can buy every possible variation I can get my hands on!!
A: Lasstranut is being ushered through the veil as I type, she will bring her love and star to our universe soon.

Q: Can we please get a clarification, which of the future TKlub releases is going to be the next generation TK or the new body TQ?
A: Well the next TKLUB isnt a 10″ TQ, the G2 HEAVY SLIVER is… big sword etc.

Q: Will there be any young character other than baby Tomorrow King, coming with Archer? Kids or teenagers Lil Shadow?
A: Well we have smaller female bodies and male bodies now, we have had a large female body for a while, just need the right character and moment!

Q: Are you currently working on any unnamed comics & art-books that will see publication? Either through his publishing from threeA, or another publisher, like IDW. Looking so much forward to sit down and getting lost in a great Ashley Wood comic story.
A: Always, but I have no plans for actual release dates, coz shit takes longer than I ever think, stuff will just pop up.. the next book from 3A comic wise is the AK SHIT HOT ADVENTURE ANNUAL, which takes all the comics so far and new stuff, with art etc… its a fun hardcover!

Q: Will we ever see MGS Rex and Ray in a smaller scale like? After seeing Lost Planet 2 models in 1/12th everything should be possible.
A: I guess anything is possible, need to get RAY out in December and see, but no plans as of yet.

Q: Are there any CAPCOM Lost Planet aliens, or Jungle enemies in the work?
A: Yes, the line needs your support to get there though!

Q: Have you played the video game Bioshock, and if so would you ever try to make a Big Daddy, or Handy Man, or even the Song Bird with a 3A custom colorway?
A: I have played all the Bioshock, years ago I was asked to try for a job as art director with the team, I sometimes think what could have been, though they certainly have done great and don’t need me.. they already have toys though I think?

Q: Will we see again Tomorrow King with wide body in the future and if yes, does he have a name?
A: Yes, he is called Gurn-ika.. just making sure the body is right etc.. Fat TK is awesome, he wears it well!

Q: I have couple of Adventure Kartel figures on my mind right now, do you have any updates on AKLUB Zomb MD & Nurse set (date and price preferably)? And the same for AK Peppermint Grove.
A: Peppermint is November, Zomb MD is December if sample is ready, its a set, with his assistant Nursey.

Q: We know where Adventure Kartel Tommy Mission learned combat from, but where did Bleak and Merde learn it?
A: Tommy uses brute force, no skills, he just is rather strong and not a normal human to say the least ( cmon he has a glowing severed hand to start), Merde is old school, ex army, semi professional boxer, good with his hands etc. Merde is the last of the normal Missions.

Q: How do you stay organized? I mean with all the projects you have going on, the contests, the events, the sales, family, etc…let alone the creative ideas that I’m sure pop in your head…Do you keep lists?..A to do list…A goal list…this is what I’m going to project myself to do this year list…What motivates you?..What drives you?..When the going gets tough, what keeps you keeping on?..What keeps your juices flowing?..Do you ever wish you could work in an organization that you didn’t have to manage, but still had the freedom to do your own thing?..I mean does it ever get difficult to do what you do?..I’m sure it’s challenging otherwise you’d get bored and probably not be doing it?..
A: I’m driven by the need to create, its not a case of wanting, or doing, but NEED. I have worked in companies but I dont play well unless, I have 100% freedom which I believe is a natural state for anyone. I know many love editors, art directors etc, but not me, I see everything on the same level as making a painting, I dont ask for direction or advice on that, why would I ask anywhere else… I want you too have a 100% thing, for better or worse… I also love what I do, to be able to make from war robots, to pascha, is a dream situation, not one I take for granted so I show the respect! I think on an artistic level, I have taken a lot of inspiration from Warhol, or what I believe Warhol did. As in making art not just a picture you can hang, but adding to that, the toys, the books, the comics are all parts of the same picture, the stories I weave with my toys are as important as anything draw or paint, the small bit of text on ads, and packaging etc — its my lifes artistic work, it is just my path.

Q: I was wondering if we might see anything like the XXXmas TQ’s this Christmas coming, or something along those lines ?
A: Maybe, we shall try!

Q: Is there any chance that your comics like WWR, ZvR or Popbot can have a Chinese version released by 3A publishing (or IDW)? I’m sure that fans from China and Taiwan are getting more excited after several successful exhibitions.
A: Well it will take a Chinese publisher to approach us, the translate a comic well take a lot of skill and something we cant do at the moment, I personally would love to see Chinese language versions!

Q: Can you break down a typical day for you. With all of your endeavors and being pulled this way and that, how do you manage your family time? Is your studio where you get most of the work done? Painting, designing, writing? All in the same day? Or do you go there with a single purpose depending on the day?
A: I get up and take care of family and business, simple as that!

Q: Will we ever see figures in WWR, AK, or Popbot representing other ethnicities, like Black, Hispanic, Native American or any other?
A: I think to do it right would require me working with said Hispanic or Native American to get it right etc. I guess its more natural and easy to make figures based on intimate knowledge of ones own culture, or close by surrogate cultures.

Q: I know there has been work being done on The Beautiful War but would you be able to elaborate on how much this new book is going to relate to or tie in with WWR plot, if at all ?
A: Its all new, no relation at all to anything we have done before at 7174, no robots…gah!

Q: Can you please give us some additional information on Ghost Nage, is he a Loper?
A: Ghost Nage isnt a loper, its by product of the Underverse, he kinda looks and becomes a ghost, existing between the present universe and the Underverse. the Mortis have finally moved on from grey TK looking bots, to more devious simulacrum now.

Q: Any chance that Severed Foot from Re-Venture and sold at Levine exhibition of your art, would make it to Bambalandstore one day?
A: You mean Leg, well no, that leg was a one time only affair, I have a couple left to finish painting and thats that, I have a new severed leg, Ill show it soon..and the leg…BOOM BOOM

Q: Since I’ve already got some of your art on my phone as a wallpaper, I wouldn’t mind also having your art on my phone case. It’s not only a good way to please us longtime fans, specially the ones not able to afford/score a print/original but also getting more exposure to gain some new ones. I know you like to do things on your own but have you considered using companies like X (name removed) or similar, who take care of all the logistics for you, you could easily get a couple of designs going asap, I’d buy them all!
A: Ok, ill have Brent Ashe make some and see if we can get them available.

Q: Anything new to tell us on WO3A and when it’s hitting the stores?
A: Working on it, just Brent Ashe and me, soon as we can get it out!

Q: Is Nabler Generation two still coming, how different it will be?
A: Yup soon, the ew year I think, early.

Q: Ash, when I meet you at Comic Con what would you like on your pizza?
A: Peperoni, anchovies and tomato.. ill be waiting.

Q: How soon are we going to see villains from AK and Popbot? Do I understand correctly that TK Hunter is going to be first?
A: TK Hunter, then Sweeper bot, they work with the Hunter in the field. I will release a Mortis once we have a loverly skinned female body, as they don't wear clothes, they have to be kinda on point! Also working on the shitheels that the Blind cowboy is hunting, there will be 13 of them, plus the TK themselves become enemies of each other! Work has started on the 5 brothers too. You guys support my lines, ill deliver the gear, thats a promise, this whole show only works because your support.. And Misty Slush soon, she is kinda a villain, depending on your point of view.

Q: Do Grunts have direct Commanders on the field and what is there chain of command? For example were NOM Field Commanders stand in the chain and their ranks.
A: The Earth's human force function very similar to traditional armies, officers, sarge, etc. NOM field commander are around 6th in the chain, Supreme Nom is top, then 4 steps to NOM field commanders.

Q: Can we get a teaser shot of AK Zomb MD and Nurse? Is Nurse a Zombie?
A: No way, surprise!

Q: Will we be seeing more of Kuan ti Plume and Barguest de Plume in WWR Evol? Will we be seeing any more 'fallen' NOM agents?
A: Ha, I thought you guys were like, no more Ash, I want to release all of them. Fuck we gotta do one asap!

Q: How are Supanova Adelaide Iso's gonna be released, will there be a certain amount each day or will they be gone by the Friday. Also will there be any other cool stuff available such as tee's, prints or books. And lastly how small a run is piss weak, and what's the chance of getting Ash to draw on a skateboard at the signing?
A: You know, I don't know, I kinda have no idea if any one cares about 3A or me in Adelaide will play it by ear, im kinda sure ill be sitting with toys at the end of the show looking like sad fuck... pissweak means smallest run for any Pascha so far. I will have a free poster, and ill draw on a skateboard, fuck why not !

Q: I know Hobson and Dolch got the write out from WWR, but is there chance we will see them surface in another storyline?
A: OH NO THEY DIDN'T< IN FACT YOU WILL SEE THEIR BERTIE KILLER SOON!

Q: Any idea how much we need to save for MGS Ray in December? Can't wait for the price announcement.
A: Well, if you divide what it has cost to develop, times stress, time, divide by 3D output, I would say... Actually we don't know, we will nail down in November, im as eager as you to know! But I can say its a cool ass toy, and now Rex will have something to fight!

Q: Do you have any updates for us about AK Zomb Anthology book by Legion for charity?
A: Er pull my finger out, i love the book, so many cool illo's... feels guilty..

Q: Are we going to see more heavily tattoo'd TK's/Interlopers like Oyaloper in the future?
A: YES, there is a storm coming to the TK world!

Q: Being that 1/12th molded robot hands were made with the Action Portable Finger Gang, do you think we'll ever see molded robot hands in 1/6 scale?...you could probably make them less blocky and more streamlined by using human sculpts and just adding the robotic details on to them so that they look more like your paintings/drawings?
A: Maybe, never really thought about it.

Q: Mine question is concerning TKLUB #3 EDO set. I noticed that Blue EDO has a blue colored flick gun, so curious if Red EDO Commander and TKLUB #3 EDO set are colored matched as well? Also will they be in a two pack box set or individual boxes with posters of each?
A: Red EDO does indeed have red gun! And yes the EDO two pack has two boxes!

Q: I was wondering if there are any news on a new print for Bambalandstore, being produced soon?
A: Oh yea, we are preparing a 10 poster set, to be released soon only on Bamba, its cool, ill have some info this week on the blog!

Q: I like to pose figures with others that are part of a specific scene. Can you tell us who/what JC was fighting when Shit Got Real?
A: Zomb MD, and the MUNT ZOMB, they will come your way soon!

Q: What is the role of the Gravedigger colorway? Do they actually dig graves for the dead, or are they inspiring fear?
A: Its a WOOO WE ARE SCARY KINDA NAME. The GRAVE DIGGERS "were" renown for getting the job done, until they didnt, which in fact gave them more of a mythic quality. That story will be told.

Q: Since the Armstrongs are smarter than other bots, do they ever act as commanders for Brambles, Berties or Dropcloths? Are there bot engineers to fix damaged robots?
A: Well Smarter is a fuzzy term, it all depends on what rank the bots are pulling, and what version their software is and what experience they have! The AI software is content aware, the more battles it participates in, the more experienced the bot becomes, this in turn gives way to the bots having different positions of rank in their groups etc.

Q: Will there be any further Action Portable Tomorrow Kings and Adventure Kartel figures? I'm focusing on 1/12th scale collectibles and would love to have more.
A: Yea, but the size needs support, they cost a lot to develop and make, the smaller size is hard work! You want more, help us out and tell people about them! We at 3A do much for sake of doing it, long as we break even, thats the main goal, keep the lights on to make more cool figures!

Q: Will the retail Harolds come with different accessories, like an ever elusive 1/6 Gatling gun...on a Harold! I think you can imagine how Goldin Dolphin flippin awesome that would be.
A: We shall see, not making any announcements until the Harolds ship, we are putting Harold energy into that.. and trust me, that takes a shit load of energy..

Q: How big are the transport devices for the robots? Something must be huge to transport a 1/6 robot, or does it offer only 1/12 transport services? I know you need some help with getting them out on Bambaland, so if it helps you can tell Rothchild that I'll take two of everything.
A: I have a Bertie transport and Dropcloth sidecar bike etc for 1/12th, but yea, we are powered by your passion and if you want it, make some noise!!

Q: Is Marian slogger still in the works or it's for the new WWR EVOL chapter?
A: Yes, I want to focus on the Martians a lot next year, EVOL on all points!

Q: My question is whether you might consider making a Popbot robot severed leg and/or arm? Currently, we have the heads. And severed robot legs and arms, would be great to pose with 1/6 TKs and TQs.
A: That might be cool, ill try an experiment see what its like!

Q: I was interested, is there an Action Portable Zomb wave 2 in the works?
A: There will be a new AK 1/12th wave coming soon, all different characters carded for retailers.. in a cool display box, kinda like how we sold the original Squares back in the day!

Q: Is upcoming AK SHIT HOT ADVENTURE ANNUAL will be published by 3A or IDW?
A: Thats actually gonna be a tshirt, but yes there is a AK book collecting all the stuff up till now plus new material in the new year, published by 3A.

Q: Do you have any rough idea of what the exclusive drop for ToyCon 2014 will be like? A punk or mod themed figure would be sweet!
A: I think you will be happy then!

Q: I have the Sorrento Assault print purchased from Ashley Wood's gallery website and was wondering if there is any backstory to this piece? Also, are there plans to ever release a 1/6 of this (obviously, supremely badass) TK? I, for one, would be extremely interested in owning one to compliment the print. Coming to Sorrento Assault, does the TK have an 8 or zero on the back of his jersey (or some other character)?
A: From memory, its the 8baller logo, Tk's love the 8baller brand, you know what would be cool, a figure and the platform! Maybe a TKLUB 2014 release, better get your 3AA on in Jan!

Q: Will you ever consider making a MOD character ? I mean a real MOD Char not the hacked robot by MOD and does Darwin Rothchild live completely alone ? Doesn't he has any family or wife or girlfriend around him?
A: I have one, but he is kinda simple, looks like a guy with a laptop and caffeine infused beverage! Maybe a WWRKLUB release for 2014! Rothchild lives very alone, his family was found wanting in his eyes at an early age, they all passed away shortly after from obscure accidents! He never had a girlfriend, maybe it would have helped!

Q: Do you have any news for us, regarding Iron Man or maybe other licensed figures from Marvel?
A: Iron Man on sale December, then Doom, Spidey and Ultron!

Q: Have there been any developments with the highly anticipated 3A x Kenny Wong Sea Monkey recently?
A: Very soon, the Sea Monkey looks awesome and is done from I have seen!

Q: I have an intense passion for steampunk wings with copper, brass, leather...those sort of things. Have you ever thought of incorporating wings on your robots or other figures? Maybe an alternate universe with a medieval/victorian Experimental Rothchild division? Maybe incorporate time travel in the WWR story?
A: I like me some steampunk too, but my designs are kinda just what they are, I don't really think, mmm I need to do this, or so something like that etc. I have a story about knights I wanna do, that i think is kinda cool, so maybe!

Q: Will Rothchild ever participate in the battle, wearing a MECH suit, like a boss fight?
A: Well you will see the new Rothchild soon, he is entering his CHE period now!

Q: Is Noir de Plume and the Dirty Deeds the final chapter of Nom de Plumes story in WWR?
A: No very early on, the first act if you will!

Q: Are we going to see new Dropcloths in 2014? As in design or colorways?
A: Retail will see new colorways of the 1.5 Dropcloth. A new design I dunno..

Q: Are figures from M+M book/Universe still happening?
A: In my head!, I have 2/3rds of the second book done, this is the first bit of interest i have in years, I didnt think anyone really cared...sniff sniff.

Q: With the return of H&D will there be powered suits in WWR? Or will they be a rival robot manufacturer and you will explore powered armor suits in EVENFALL?
A: RIVAL ROBOTS for H&D, their company moto is, PUTTING CLASS BACK INTO WAR. They are opposite to Rothchild in every way, except the joy of cash and death! No robots in EVENFALL, all powered suits etc..for now.

Q: When will we see the 1/6 Bertie MK2 and will there be a version with classic machete and heads or maybe a new WARBOT? And slightly related question, is there a chance we'll see a WWR Bertie Mk3.5 with the insanely cool revolvers? We've seen the Harold with the optional guns / arms, is it possible to do something like that with said Bertie MK3.5: battle damaged arm, parts / non battle damaged arm parts?
A: Well I guess anytime... we have it! I think there will be a few options, with different weapons etc. Early in the new year they be unleashed !

Q: I love the concept of Isobelle and Lizbeth doing cosplay, like bear, astronaut, and even TQ, maybe in the future we will see them cosplaying as De Plume? Sounds a bit weird, but might be cool.
A: Nope thats a good idea, send me more ideas! Even if they are not 3A related cosplay. The Lizbeth cosplay is a great toy, sad but maybe of the best TQ, and not even a TQ!

Q: Will WWR ever see bots/troops for aquatic or naval combat?
A: Robots and water dont get on well, but I would like to see a navy Seal type soldier etc...

Q: Do you still have plans for 1/32th scale mini-figures or the idea shifted and transformed into EVENFALL OSM?
A: OSM ( stands for One Sheet Model) is the name of the model range that we do with GOODSMILE CO, there are upcoming WWR and POPBOT models, small and fun!

Q: Once you mentioned that Lasstranaut was being "ushered through the veil". Is there any chance she is coming with a Bot Head or something just for her from which to perch beautifully on?
A: Well ill say it here, she id the 2014 3AA, we will also offer the LASSTRALANDER soon after. Its a really nifty LASS themed 3AA.. Figure, book, tshirt, all wrapped up in a cool Brent Ashe design thingy!

Q: Will we see more of the Big Red and Kruschev Memorial Guard colorways in the future? I want to see the new 1.5 droppie with a hammer and sickle accessory!
A: I must read you guys wrong, I didn't think anyone dug the new droppy, but I keep getting asked for more, shit knows what else i'm missing : )

Q: I've just spent a long time posing my Pathfinder Oya TK Ōno, and realized I really don't know much about him. I went looking for information, but there doesn't seem to be much out there, is there anything interesting or significant you can share about this character? Is he the only Pathfinder? Also, would it be possible to see bios and in-depth information about existing characters released regularly in the future? Maybe can be regularly covered in WO3A?
A: Well WO3A should help in filling in story and info for all Ash IP's. Pathfinder in the UNDERVERSE refers to finding ways to go forward and back in time without being crushed, its a pretty important role, but many TK go mad or go missing doing it! Im not the kinda guy to give to much of a detailed lowdown on anything, I guess its a style thing, not a lack of knowing it ( as anyone who meets me with questions finds out ) just my way of doing it, I blame French cinema for this!

Q: Most of the recent female figures are wearing high heel shoes. Will wee see them wearing (or have them included) chucks or sneakers again, like OG Little Shadow and Queenie?
A: If the character wears heels, it heels, if it s sneakers, its sneaker, I dont dictate what they wear, the character does, they whisper to me as I surf the waters of half sleep, and leave messages in steamed up mirrors in train stations etc, pretty standard I hear. Hey, our 3A XMAS BEER girls wear boots!

Q: How's the mighty TK Hunter coming along? Is the color finalized?
A: COLORS my friend, the MORTIS do like to represent their clans through color and design! Im hoping, to release in December, at least one! But TK Hunter isnt simple so Im guessing early 2014!

Q: Will we see more than one type/model of "bike" for the Modern Girls line and is there any update on King Thumb's chopper?
A: Yup, Im working with my new 3A designer on Modern Girls, she brings much skills to designing such stuff! King Thumb bike soon!

Q: Are you thinking about possible revision of F-Legion figure?
A: Yea, I wanna do his buds, I imagine them like the A Team... yup, A TEAM!

Q: If it ever came down to it, who would win in a fight, Schwarzenegger or Stallone…I mean: Merde, Bleak or Tommy?
A: Merde would clean em all up, ruthless cunt of man, i mean Stallone, Schwartz, Die Hard era Bruce Willis any fucker actually! Cmon his name is french for shit, you have to be tough to wear that mantle!

Q: Are there any plans of 3A Publishing to re-print a series of books about Isobelle Pascha?

A: Yes!

Q: Did you ever think about releasing some more Mighty Squares? Will we be seeing the Mighty Squares with mounted turrets anytime soon?

A: To be honest, I didn’t think you guys wanted more, I love the fucker, great for posing figs, looks funny, had leg flaps! Maybe ill do a XXXMAS one, see if you guys love ol MIGHTY!

Q: Are there multiple sculpts for EVENFALL Strigoi Astronaut and can you please tell us the price?

A: For the Astronaut version, there is only the one head sculpt etc , as thats how they look, there will more types down the line, and they will have different heads and hands etc. They will cost 160usd each.

Q: When we might get to see a Future Mort? Is there a chance to see that happen before 2014?

A: Yup, he and the Dead Astro are related so I want to have him appear!

Q: I have lots of questions about 7Bones, huge fan of them! How did Punk King selected his personal guards? What is so special about the 7Bones rouges to be chosen by The Forth. Which rank of TKs does these 7bones belong to, can you please tell us more about them? Was the blue colorway for 7bones intentional choice and why blue?

A: The Punk king was assigned them by Luthor Bean JR. They are considered 7 of the best in their individual skills, so its natural they were given the task of guarding the King. As mentioned, they all know the day they die and how, so they fight without fear, they know their part in the history!

Q: Are there going to be some new 1/6 Caesar bots in WWR EVOL?

A: Caesar, well they have kinda gone rogue…. You can say it was their destiny to, not unexpected!

Q: Can we maybe get a little I do on these Xmas BEER girls you mentioned in the last Q&A?

A: Are they going to be anything like the XXXmas TQ’s? It will be a surprise, why mess that up!

Q: Were the Strigoi vampires human, then transformed into these creatures because of the parasites, or are they an alien being? How is it that the astronaut suits are designed to fit the elongated Strigoi bodies, and not human proportions?

A: Well there are two answers to this, The suits are super stretchy made from a hitech substrate that conforms to most in not any body type, a true one size fits all if you will! Second version, the shredded version accommodates the idea the suit ripped and got shredded as the body changed shape, so Im offering the solid suit or the shredded suit to cover all bases as I like them both!

Q: What is the story behind the G.I.D Oppenheimer Zomb. Is he one zomb or one of many Oppenheimer Zombs? Is he good at chemistry or an experiment which went wrong?

A: He is an early Zomb that basically got messed up by ZOMB MD and his early RAD experiments. He doesn’t work for ZOMB MD, nor is he a friend of the AK. Due to be an early version, he has a little more self control than the everyday Boiler Zomb.

Q: You mentioned that we should let you know , remind you , prod CS etc for stuff to keep it in mind, and with reference to your reply to the AP Ankou sale and since we have seen protos of AP Tommy and Little Shadow, can we have them for sale soon? Nice lil 3 pack maybe?

A: We shall have some news for 1/12th AK!

Q: Will the Lasstranaut figure come with the cute little whistling star or any other accessories?

A: The Criminal Star supplies the power need by Lasstranaut to do her work, the star is small in size but FUCKING HUGE IN THE POWER STAKES! So yea, I assume he will pop along for the ride!

Q: Since we have many AK universe monsters and supernatural figures such as witches, mummies and the eventual Dracula, will we ever get a AK Frankenstein style Zomb or something along those lines ?

A: Well, I have A Dracula style figure coming soon for another line, AK doesnt have vampires in that tradition, I think the idea of ZOMBENSTEIN© is to funny not too! It has a name now, so it has to happen!

Q: Are we still going to see the 1/12th MK1 Square pack (avoiding re-release of the same Squares of course) and if yes: will there be newer colorways in there too?

A: We will, but for the time being the schedule is really full up!

Q: Are we going to see TKLUB Tomorrow Kings in Action Portable scale? If yes, how they will be sold?

A: I think variations/versions will be released , but The TKLUB characters are exclusive for that line.

Q: Which WWRp Bertie MK 3.5 might be next? We seriously need more!

A: I agree! I want a 1/6th one too!

Q: Does threeA plan on releasing more hoodies, or perhaps some more 1:1 scale versions of any 3A character clothing in the future?

A: I think weekly about releasing the TK shirts we have done over the years, then the work wave hits, and its another week till I have the thought again, thats why this Q and A is so great, it also reminds me of stuff. I have always imagined them box, with 3 or so shirts in each illustrated box!

Q: Could we see Hot Foot’s flamethrower (or any flamethrower) in the hands of 1/6 size robots?

A: Maybe a new design of Flame thrower, a flamer Bertie etc.

Q: With the Marvel reveals does Wolverine happen to he on the horizon?

A: I can hear a mumbled BUB somewhere ???

Q: Is the special signed print for Pudding Boss contest participants still in the works?

A: Yup.

Q: Out of the Marvel figures you are working on right now, you have listed Spidey is one of the least metallic. Are we going to see a 3A cloth suit or the whole thing being vinyl? Have you given thoughts to the variants? Regular suit and black suit are obvious, but please give some thought to (In my opinion) one of the best spider suits the original Scarlet Spider outfit with the blue hoody.

A: Um cant really say, you will see, a little different from the traditional story, but still very familiar.

Q: At this point we have seen a Zombkin the past 3 Halloweens. Have you given thought as to making him the permanent Halloween drop? Even if he is a secret drop like this year it would be amazing to keep seeing variants of him. Even love to see some 1/12 scales of the Charkin and Ghostkin to hang out with the 1/12 Zombkin.

A: Well the Story of Zombkin and Hotfoot will continue, as I like Zombkin greatly, I shall push it in new directions, maybe a reforming of his band etc.

Q: How would you describe H&D and Roth if they were car companies. Would Roth be like Ford and H&D BMW?

A: Roth is more like the Tesla car co, H&D are more like Jaguar…

Q: Is there any chance of ever producing t-shirts in typical ‘girly sizes’ as well as the regular sizes?

A: Well we would, but the cost of inventory could add up and cost us dearly, we have a tight bottom line at 3A and need to be careful. Maybe we can maybe 20 or so for each shirt for the next couple and see if indeed there is any after the ends interest etc.

Q: Will the WWRp line up ever see Bot Sniper release?

A: If you guys support the line YES, its a simple case of demand, we cant continue any line without you guys getting behind it, sounds a bit trite, but its the reality of the situations for any line, and toy from any company. I have always said, I want to see all my characters available in all sizes, nothing has changed!

Q: My question is for the future of the Marvel line and I understand if you’re not aloud to answer due to it being down to license but would the Marvel line ever be considered to be made in 1/12th? or even part of the 3AGO line?

A: Not at the moment, Im only interested in the 1/6th size, I cant see that changing as the work and abilities of these toys require the 1/6th size to fulfill my brief. 3AGo is close to launching, as I have mentioned its 3A’s 8″ MEGO format line, totally done for the fun of it, the first releases are some old buddies from the early TK line, but I intend to do many 8″ versions from all over the spectrum, I would love to make some super heroes figs based on Image Comics lines, maybe some of that Joe Casey stuff etc. Bottom line it will be fun and diverse. Imagine, you can hunt down older 8″ playsets and use them, or have a TK fucking up a Planet of the Apes Soldier Ape by Mego…

Q: I have a few questions about Ronin TKs, really interested in them. Is there any relation between Sun, Moon and Snowblind? Did they all know each other at some point? How are their skills compared to that of a regular TK? Or even an Oyabun?

A: They are related indeed, Well Sun and Moon run together, Moon operates after sundown, Sun during the day, they share their spoils. Snowblind is a bit more esoteric, one minute he will save a cat in a tree, the next level an apparently average town killing all the inhabitants without remorse.

Q: Ash, do you ever go back to some of your very early sketches and think about a revisiting? A superb drawing in Leggerboot Volume one of Iron Shoe – looks like a bot gumshoe detective maybe? Be cool to have a range by 3A of just some of the various characters that might not be affiliated with AK, WWR, Pop and other existing lines.

A: I never revisit anything I have done really book wize, I had forgotten about Leggerboot, now I remember having to sign and draw on so many…gah! I do have ideas that bubble away and make their wat to the top. But saying that, ill go look at some old stuff and see whats what!

Q: Does Nom/Noir become a Fallen de plume? What does the Supreme think of the Fallen Plumes? Who would win in a fight between a Nom disciple and a Fallen Plume? Will we see a Jung Hunter Nom disciple?

A: Surpreme NOM want them all dead, flayed like eels in front of her! Noir isnt fallen, FALLEN is a very different way of thinking from the NOM, Noir is more a independent NOM member, still follows the Supreme NOM, but in his own way.

Q: I remember there was a mention of BOT FACTORY, some good time ago. Could there ever be a threeA Customizer sale? Sell odds and ends, maybe some factory seconds,some DIY pieces – shit laying round?

A: Oh we got some news soon, back int the day I dont think we had the set up to do it, Im hoping to give budding Rothchilds a avenue to make shit, it wont be cheap, it wont be for everyone, but it will be good, NOPE, GREAT!

Q: Will we see African Defense colorway ever used again and hopefully on Bertie MK2 in 1/6th scale, missing that colorway a lot!

A: Me too, need to rev that emo up again ( cmon, remember the decal emo, shit, a decal can make people get so pissy, but they dont give a fuck about single mums doing it hard, or child abuse, weird aint it! ), Germany plays a great role in the WWR story, they are one of the good guys!

Q: When can we expect the next 7 bones?

Q: WWR Harolds are really taking their time in the production and could we see photos of all 15 colorways please? Would be great if you could show them to us all on the blog, would feed our hunger and anticipation for them for a bit.

A: They are ready, ill grab some shots soon, my house has a fort of boxes. Thanks to the peeps that ordered a Harold, you nearly have some heavy ordinance !

Q: I have a questions about LASSTRANAUT: it’s my most anticipated figure, and coming in the membership pack, I know I will be getting one. Will there just be one version/color way in the packs or there will be more variants released during the year?

A: No, only one Lasstranut is needed, I only do colorways when I can make it work in my head, there is only one LASS, she is a unique force of nature.

Q: How expensive are the Moleskines you recently showed on the blog? I would love to buy one…maybe do a timed release to test the waters? Or perhaps a timed release of a simple two-three color silkscreen print, that would then be printed to order?

A: I think they cost me like 40 bucks each, plus shipping, I would offer if they had a system like lulu or sumin where you could just buy them etc. The longer i have them, the more I like them!

Q: For folks who missed out on WWR standard Brambles (the quintessential WWR robot) the first time round e.g. may not have started their 3A collection when they were released, might they ever be re-released?
A: I guess I could, might be fun!

Q: Why did you and threezero merge? And slightly another question, do you and Kim talk for hours each day of the week to push design/production and how not to get tired of each other? What interest you share besides making coolest toys?
A: ThreeA and Threezero didn't merge, very different companies. We dont get ired of each as we have the same goal, going into our 6th year still feels exciting and challenging!

Q: What makes the Bertie SMRTgun so smart? I've noticed the little Bertie head on the tip of the barrel; does the gun have it's own A.I. built into it? Are there any other A.I. assisted guns in WWR?
A: Yes, its basically a self aware gun, that tracks its marks, and assists the main bot in targeting.

Q: Who is the woman on Snowblind TK's drawing? Does he in love with that woman or something?
A: Thats a secret! but it will all make sense one day!

Q: Will you ever consider doing Gorillaz figure, would be interesting to see your approach to them!
A: I like them as is, I don't think anyone can offer a new valid take on them as they are very well defined and designed! Actually I'm sure Hewlett could, it just doesn't feel or sound right for anyone else to play with them!

Q: I just received the Dark Side of her Moon Pascha (which came out amazing! by the way) and placing her next to some of my TK figures, it really stood out how much they tower over the boys. I know the male figures are gonna debut soon from Pacha-world so I was wondering if a new male body is going to be used for them. It seems like the men of Pacha would be considerably disproportionate to the ladies if they didn't use more...erm, robust bodies.
A: I like the ladies tall, but we are going to start releasing our ladies in in a 10" mode when apt! So I like em tall and not so tall!

Q: We got a lot of mean and lean looking grunts, did you ever thought about making some muscle bound freaks and or some fat slob of a monstrosity in terms of grunts/humans?
A: We do, and work on said bodies, but it takes a while to fully realize stuff, much to my horror, im a lets go now, have it in a week kinda guy, but I have learned that stuff takes a while and is better for it !

Q: Any chance we see a IRON PANDA/ ROGUE PANDA set or something of the sort? Would really be into knowing more of their history and there EVOLution in WWR.
A: Good ol Panda, one of the classic Corps, I think a set would be cool, does anyone want that ?

Q: What can you tell us of either Bastard or Hammersmith at this point ? Do they have history with Merde or each other? Any chance we see either of them in 2014?
A: Bastard is a bastard to all, from Merde to Tommy, he has been a dick for so long, he is only known as the Bastard, or to some The complete and UTTER BASATRD! 2014 will see many AK characters hinted at and not mentioned, its a fun world for me, I intend to push it even further into the crazy.. actually the upcoming MEGA ZOMB is pretty cool!

Q: As you requested more love for the Mighty Squares, can we see the blue and white FAT CLOUD data tower as a mighty square?
A: This fresh new design deserves this size! I totally agree, I might offer a large range made to order, I will in fact soon!

Q: Will Evenfall have factions with different colorways like WWR? Does humanity have different defense/attack forces with different colors?
A: Well there is TOTEM - keeping Earth safe, and the adversaries trying to do their thing, not really factions per se!

Q: Will the production ver of the Srigoi astronaut include the name of the astronaut on there suit? Be cool if so and they were random much like the name decals on the Lunar Armstrongs! Maybe even some sort of 1:1 patch to go with it?
A: Maybe, will see how they look.

Q: Have you ever thought of the possibility of making the "masks" and "helmets" of the WWR NOM COMMANDERS or GRUNT the 1/1 scale, it would be really amazing don't you think? And I got to be fair with you, we all WOULD REALLY love to buy those 1:1 AK heads too!
A: I think about such things, maybe we can try, we will release some 1:1 heads for AK!

Q: Can we get some more intel on the 13 Shitheels the Blind Cowboy hunts?
A: Well yes, you can buy them as well, well in 2014!

Q: I enjoy reading comics on the retina ipad, and was wondering how do you feel about digital comics? ZvR is available on Comixology, but will you (or IDW) ever release Popbot? Physical copies are hard to come by, so a digital version might hold people over until a reprint comes along.
A: I dont want to yet, when its done yes!

Q: To mark EVENFALL ONE release (again congratulations!), I have lots of questions and I hope you will answer on them. Do the Strigoi run? Shuffle? Like are they fast and aggressive or slow and night of the living dead zombie like? Can the parasite that infected humans turning them into Strigoi infect other animals? How does a T.H.U.G suit kill a Strigoi? Do they have a weakness? Will we see other versions of the Strigoi from different environments, like a earth type? Is there anything you can tell us about the T.O.T.E.M. organization/group?
A: You will have to wait and read the upcoming booklets and ads, all will be revealed. The Strigoi are very quick and strong when needed, but like to lope around when not attacking! The Strigoi come in many variations, the heads are always different, depending on the source. The upcoming Security Guard Strigoi will have the different head etc. You will see, its all very cool!

Q: How tall is 1/6th scale T.O.T.E.M suit and is there still a plan to have a 1/6th scale human pilot inside it? At ACG there was a prototype on the display and it doesn't looked big enough to fit 1/6th scale human and give him some comfort at the battlefield (I assume they spend a lot of time in those mechs).
A: Yup it fits a human, you will see, its a nifty toy!

Q: Where on earth do you keep all the toy prototypes you have? There must be well over 1000 at this point. Do you have a full basement? A barn behind the house? A rented storage unit? My garage I know is bulging at the seams with the boxes alone.
A: I have them in my studio, my home and my secret warehouse. I hope one day to show it all, a giant 3A exhibition, but I think we have many years of producing toys to gain that kinda of interest!

Q: Are there any plans for Dead Astronaut Gangsta in 1/12th scale or he is too delicate for it?
A: No plans, hard enough work making the 1/6th !

Q: Even though we saw EVENFALL release one in November, it seemed like a very calm month on 3A blog, are you gearing up for something big or just a lot of work behind the curtain?
A: I don't know what that means, seemed like a lot of work to me and everyone at 3A!

Q: Any new kitties coming our way? Maybe with new Popbot?
A: A new Popbot next year if all goes well, if there is a Popbot there will be a kitty!

Q: Can you tell us what the significance of "Alles Sehen" being on the back of the NOMs, I know it translates to "See All", but is it a motto or some kind of mission statement?
A: They see all, its a combo of position and intent!

Q: This is in regard to Potato Commander, in the comic from The Dead Easy Corp, Potato Commander had a face drawn on his cowl, but on the prototype figure his cowl was blank. Will he have a face drawn on the cowl in final production figure or will it be blank like the prototype?
A: Blank like the proto, I was originally gonna have the face but looked wrong.

Q: In the last Q&A session, you mentioned that it would be fun to make another gatling gun Bramble. Maybe it could be more than one colorway? Iron Panda, Big Red and African Defense would be great! Or something special for 3A Anniversary next June? Also, might they have new weapons or will they rock a chain or double gats like their predecessors?
A: I think it would be double guns and gatling guns. I wouldn't mind making the RPG version in 1/6th like its smaller 1/12th brother though. Maybe ill do some pre-order experiments, if we get the numbers we can do it, if not it will be canceled and so on..

Q: How about Deep Powder Armstrong? Since WF Armstrong are on the way, maybe you can give us also the Deep Powder Armstrong sale together with WF sale later? Or at least the 1/12th scale ver also no problem, because not all of us are WF fans, some of us (many, I think) are Deep Powder fans..
A: I have always like the DEEP POWDER, I wouldn't be against it, I gotta say getting the Meat is Murder set really reminded how much I like the Armstrong design!

Q: Since TKYO and YHYO is TK boyband, maybe we can see TQ girlband in the future?
A: Well, the TKYO will have a new member soon! Ill post the teaser today if I can. TKYO are a fun concept, lame ass band, but top notch spec ops TK's. Like all great TK's. Its how they die that define them, and TKY are no exception!

Q: WWRp Dropcloths are shipping out next week, maybe it's time to think about 1.5U Dropcloths in 1/12th?
A: I have to make some more 1/6th 1.5's before I even think of that!

Q: Just got my WWRp damaged and regular Bertie MK3.5 and I got to say that damaged one is beautiful and the amount of weathering and work put into it is astonishing. Can you pretty please offer more colorways? DW&NW pack, both damaged in unique way would be a dream coming to true! Also, any chance of seeing damaged Armstrongs, Dropcloths, Brambles and Squares (even though we have Snippy, would love to see some more).
A: I want to make damaged everything, as I see a beauty in it. To be honest, they were not that popular, so the message I get is that no one really wants them? maybe I'm not getting the right info? A damaged Bramble, or Large Martin isnt pretty damn exciting!

Q: You hinted a possibility of 3A making more MGS figures after RAY…any chance to hear more? And since we are on it, is RAY still in the cards for December pre-order? I understand that 3A usually announces prices closer to the release date, but with Christmas and the fact that it's an expensive collectible, would be great to hear an approximate price and date a bit ahead please.
A: I would say it will be similar to REX, we don't hold of on pricing for any reason that we just don't know yet, until all the costings, including manufacturing, shipping etc are known we cant make a firm price. Ill ask Kim and see where he is at on it.

Q: What does [X] means on some WWR bots? We've seen it on a few bots now (Deimos Caesar, Iron Panda Dropcloth and possibly the Cydonia Heavy Bramble) and it appears to only be found on bots associated with the Martians. Is there a conspiracy afoot? Or are we reading too deeply into things?
A: Well that depends on t... .... ....... ........ ... ...!

Q: What kind of direction would you like to see clothing for threeA figures evolve towards? Will we see figures with more layered clothing, or perhaps different types of jackets and coats i.e leather, wool. 3A Parade sounds like a very interesting line to experiment with different outfits and materials.
A: I think I want it to reflect my ideas, thats the main reason I do 3A is to make my ideas into a physical objects. I know there isnt a type of clothes we cant do, from delicate to heavy.

Q: Peppermint Grove pre-order is knocking on the door and this question is on my mind: is there going to be a shadow mode Peppermint Grove to hang out with the Soy Dolphin?
A: PEPPERMINT SOY, how dare you imply any such character would exist let alone try and get the jump on sale info! Im pretty sure the Pep wouldn't like to show anything in common with the GD, even if they are brother and sister! Or maybe there is..

Q: Are Grunts in World War Robot universe clones? Or just random people seeking for "legion estrange" in a hope for a better life? If they are indeed clones, whose DNA they are from?
A: Like any army, they are made up people who love for the ideal of it, love to kill, love adventure or just looking for a place to fit in!

Q: Does every fraction has their commander ? Do they wear same color as their troop or they prefer to blend and stay "incognito" (to avoid sniper attacks perhaps)?
A: Commanders of say the Earth and Martian armies look similar to the regular soldiers ( the commander of a Grunt corp may only visibly different by a small part of kit or status insignia etc), only NOM have distinct class looks, as they are fans of hierarchy and such.

Q: I just got retail Caesar colorways and was wondering, if you plan to release more bots, using these colorways (BcELL in particular) or it was more like a test?
A: Well you have the Caesar, Harold is shipping this month etc. BcELL is Rothcild logistics company, the heavy firepower of the large bots isn't needed. yet!

Q: Would you consider doing other Square Enix properties like Final Fantasy? Would be amazing seeing Cloud, Aerith, Cait Sith and the Mog done in your style.
A: I think they have their toys covered.

Q: Can we please have an update on Fuck it #5 or 2014 calendar?
A: Well Fuck it #5 keeps getting bigger, then shrinking etc, I dont feel any pressure or need to rush them out, one day ill go, AH! thats it and print the fucker. CAL will go on sale early December, it being printed now, and ill be signing any copies purchased before the 10th of December or so.

Q: Ash, some time ago you mentioned you like the 4 original Masters of the Universe minicomics.These were indeed wonderful, providing a good, moody setting without going in much detail, and Alfredo Alcala's artwork is just stunning. Is there any chance of you ever producing similar minicomics to go along with future releases? Or that's already happening with EVENFALL?
A: Well that will be for Evenfall for now, but its a time thing, I wish I could make books for everything, not a toy is made that doesnt have a good yarn behind it and it would be fun to share them with you guys. But as im a REALL HANDS ON guy, I just cant pass onto to others to tell the story, I guess that restricts the reach and market for me and 3A, but thats the price I pay, I want to give my 100% attention and care to it all.

A: She is around, sniffing at the butt of AK!

Q: Now that we have seen both Peppermint Grove and Golden Dolphin are we going to see the bot that they stole the hands from, Pharox? Of course, he wants his shit back!
A: The AK world is built on two pillars, the pillar of the OCCULT and the pillar of ROBOTS. Where as the occult world is pretty much lead by the SHADOW family, the Robots have their own linage, PHAROX is like an elder god in this sphere! The longer the AK world can continue the layers will be revealed!

Q: When its time for the Bertie mk2's in 1/6 will there be a bloody DD's? And if so will it have the handprint in blood that was on the OG MK1 bloody exclusive version? That always scared the shit out of me imagining a dying grunt reaching out and placing his bloody hand on the Bertie in a attempt to steady himself before he drops to the ground dead, also really added a sense of scale to the bot.
A: I think so, fuck i wanna make a DD 1/6th set, at least for myself, with de-Plume up front!

Q: I am planning to keep poking you until you give us a date for AP Tommy and Little Shadow, Bleak and Custard ! How do you go about scheduling sales? What takes priority? Is it down to what you want to see produced? Demand you see here or general feedback?
A: Scheduling is pretty liquid, its comes down to what is ready and right to offer, some things seem like they are a week away from selling and take months to get there, chaos runs our world, and at times can make the simple very complicated! Take the Microman for example, so close, SO CLOSE, but as we have to respect and right so TAKARA's timeline and make sure the initial intent is covered. But what you say, I asked about AP AK, well the next stage is gonna be shown soon at NYC TOY FAIR 2014!

Q: NYCTF TK Cornelius caused some serious mayhem in the vinyl world! How is it going to be offered? If it's indeed NYCTF exclusive only, how it will be sold, since it's for the professionals only. Or perhaps it's Bambalandstore drop to celebrate 3A participation in NYCTF? So many questions!
A: Im glad to hear that , I hear nothing, really, I kinda dont hang out online and for all I knew 3 people liked it! A: I love DUNE, I liked the film too, had some great visuals.. shit I wanna make the WORM ! I think I mentioned the KNIGHT's story I have before on this Q&A, its kinda cool. Damn I loved EXCALIBUR as a kid, the Bobo Peak posters, the hint of breasts, great film!

Q: What type of fighting style does Golden Dolphin use to keep his enemies at bay?
A: GD beats the fuck outta them with his robot fist, kicks them in the balls with his boots, and like to poke them on the eye with the snout of his Dolhin hat! If that fails he berates them with the doctrine of the GD!

Q: How does Peppermint Grove captures her robot bounties? Does she use weapons or boobie traps or something even more wicked?
A: Pep G is very smart, the opposite of GD, she will use whatever it takes, normally someone else!

Q: Do you have a paint surface preference? Wood panels vs. canvas?
A: I like both, they have such different quality's and feels. I would have said wood panel a couple of years a go though!

A: Its a system we are working on, need to have it figured out clearly and on point before the debut! Its another way we can say thanks for support and have some fun!

Q: Would you be interested in making real people figures in your distinguished style? Like Iggy Pop or Bruce Lee for instance or maybe Andy Warhol?
A: I think Andy would be great, but im sure we cannot afford the fee!

Q: I am really curious about the way you do colorways for figures. As far as I know you work distantly from an actual hatchery, are you exchanging prototypes via post service and paint them as you paint legs or maybe doing digital sketches or maybe even do a small paintings with real materials? Actually that would be great to see Bertie or Bramble painted buy you! Maybe one chase per whole run?!
A: Digital paintings which are sent to the Hatchery who make a proto, which I mark up, then repeat until the sample looks right. I have painted some samples in the past for the Hatchery to copy, but I find their versions capture my ideas for paint schemes really well!

Q: Have you ever considered to bring less destructive units in WWR (apart from Squares) like repair crews, engineer packs or sappers?
A: Those would be great, but out market is really small and Im not sure enough would buy to cover it. I had the engineer ready years ago, but there was an apathy in general from all qtrs to it. Shit I painted the engineer, the quite scenes in WWR are the most powerful! Would be great.

Q: You been asked a lot to make this or that clothes in 1:1 scale…and I even remember a talk of making special parka! Are there any progress with 3A Apparel besides t-shirts? I would buy 1:1 coat from Seven Bones Kyoku in a flash!
A: We tried, we made samples, we worked with a well known clothes Co, but none of the samples seemed on point, just didnt have the right feel.. which kinda sucked! We try many things, you have to try, but unless I can honestly think, I would want it, I like it, it wont happen.

Q: What will be the difference between the retail and Bambaland versions of the Harold? Also how many retail Harolds will there be (so I can start saving)?
A: The big difference there isnt a retail Harold yet, as we are shipping Harolds this month, thats the main concern! When we have Harold info you will know!

Q: Do you have a number of releases in mind from WWR Evol? We heard about Rothchild and Bertie MK2 and Martians, can you reveal more please?
A: Hopefully as many as the story needs, fingers crossed! Moon Escape Rothchild M.E.R is first, then a Bertie MK2, then ...

Q: Anything you can share about World Best Robots or Modern Girls? I'm sure lots of things are happening behind the curtain!
A: MARS is the first release for WBR, early new year, we will have at the NYCTF! Modern girls is cruising along well, but I want to get right!

Q: Do you have character design and backstory for every Tomorrow King you intend to make or it's more spontaneous process?
A: Everyone has story and reason for being, no fun for me if I dont, their part in the story and why they look the way they do is what I find the most interesting!

Q: When discussing Archer Tomorrow King, you mentioned that all the TKs are dead. Can you please further elaborate on that? Are all the TQ, Ronin, etc. dead as well, then? Have the Mortis lead a successful invasion in the end? You also mentioned an infant TK, whom I assume Archer must protect (will he come in a 2-pack)?
A: Yup, the story does in fact have a period where the TK are very few, hence the EDO TK, they replace the TK while M.I.A.

Q: Are there any further developments with the Archer figure, or is the figure being put aside or saved for a time that would coincide better for releasing the 'last of the TKs"?
A: Well he is coming in 2014, but his place in the story is a dark moment, maybe im putting it off for that reason!

Q: I am curious about time concept in all your universes, as I noticed that no characters are wearing watches (unless I missed something). Is it because it's not important or it's just difficult to make 1/6th scale watch?
A: I dont wear a watch...

Q: So what does the Zomb MD look like? I've seriously overanalyzed the poster for a few years now...looks like he's wearing a helmet? Also, I have heard that he likes to wears girls panties...can you please confirm or deny?
A: Who doesnt like to wear girls panties ? err right ?

Q: When are we going to get a bit more backstory on the TK's that have recently come at us? I know a few others and myself have often spoken about a full style book, done in the strip style comic that came in the Queeny box. Any chance we could be seeing some more of those? Also Mortis, I know you have talked about Mortis a few times already, but God damn I want a squadron of those Mortis that were on the hold out dumper two pack. Any chance we will see those in toy form soon? My Lopers are outnumbered!
A: 2014 will see Mortis, I didnt want release them until we got some skinning tech down, we are close!

Q: Who is Adventure Kartel Junglevet? He has such a cool and unique look, I would love to know more about him!
A: A robot left over from the CARINE wars, it lasted an afternoon but the legacy continues to haunt the world AK. Junglevet is the robot equiv of Hannibal from the A-Team.

Q: Not a very original question here and people ask a lot, but can you please shed some light on MaK / SF3D in the works?
A: I really cant, if I could I would, I am not being coy, these things take a while!

Q: We don't want to rush your hand and I bet that you want to finish 7Bones on the high note and make it right, but can you please tell us whether the chapter concludes in 2014 and when might be the next release?
A: 2014 is it , I actually figured out the entire sequence of their death, its tragic but cool, a pivotal moment of 8 seconds.

Q: How about some Grunts 2.0 anytime soon and a new version of Slicer Tomorrow Kings?
A: New slicer very soon, MEGA SLICERRR, Grunts ,need a reboot too...

Q: Did I read it right in last Q&A that spacedog Laika might be coming?
A: Of course, but she aint exactly alive!!!!

Q: When will we might see more prints, also when you have prints made, how is decision about size gets made (artistic preferences, price / shipping expenses & logistics and etc.)? Is it possible to get prints with the image taking up the majority of the paper leaving 1/4 border. That way we don't need to get them matted (personal preference really)?
A: Prints are fun thing, the time and effort is rather large on our part and Kimberley, so we need to be careful. Maybe a new one in Jan ? Re border, its all down the size and paper and what works etc, no real plans to make any definite size plans.

Q: Do you have any plans to release new Deep Powder or EMGY bots in 1/6th or 1/12th sizes? What's the current status of Nurse Jessica?
A: Yes to EMGY. Jessica is a nurse!

Q: Any hints on when in 2014, we'll get to welcome Miyu to The Adventures of Isobelle world?
A: Yes and many more Pascha characters.

Q: Any chance for Grunt vehicles down the line? How about pre-AI mechs?
A: It would be cool!

Q: Have you seen the Titanfall demo? They could do with 3A overhaul, I see cross between Halo and WWR mode. Future project maybe?
A: Im looking to stay away from most license stuff, I want to create my own worlds, thats where I see the fun! It has to be like the Marvel project, where I design it etc!

Q: Will there be a MGS Raiden released by threeA?
A: Maybe my version..

Q: What will be the first Martian bot? Is it the Slogger?
A: Slogger is a Martian Grunt, we have seen Martian robots already!

Q: Are the Martians in World War Robot Universe aware of NOMs presence in the war? I would assume a smart lot like the Reds would have to be somewhat aware of NOM.
A: All sides know of the NOM, the NOM would be considered terrorists by todays standards, they pretty much say everyone is wrong, we have to break it to rebuild it! Mars and Earth would be very happy to see them vanish!

Q: Since Darwin's eventual release in WWR Evol is an emergency escape version, is he going to be leaving the company and is there a new leader taking his place?
A: Well he is the company, wherever he goes so does the company, he has always planned for such stuff, and frankly quite motivated by it all, and his personal injuries really help define his path!

Q: How many versions of 2000AD Dredd you have the license for / want to make?
A: I would like every character and version ever from 2000ad!

Q: Will we ever see an Action Portable Dead Cowboy set and Lady Sham? A pack of white/black/red Shams would be fucking cool!
A: Lady sham yes, Cowboy, mm only if I can make an articulated horse.

Q: Have you or your kids played in Borderlands? I would love to see Borderlands figures! War loader from 2nd game would be great!
A: We love Borderlands in my house, I like the dev house too, maybe one day we can team up on a project!

Q: What are the chances of getting the MGS3 Shagohod tank or perhaps making Metal Gear TX-55 or Metal Gear D?
A: Support the line, who knows what we can do!!!!

Q: Is there Shogun TQ in Popbot Universe?
A: Yes, been working on her for a while!

Q: Congratulations on Beautiful War coming out in 2014! Is new Popbot coming out next year as well? Or you want to tie it's release with the movie?
A: I want to release a popbot this coming year, I have it all written now, its funny though, the next phase explains a lot and is kinda sad, its always been a story about a guy who loses himself and has a cool cat!

Q: Can you please put other MARVEL characters aside and make a DEADPOOL after Iron Man. I know every 1/6 collector and DEADPOOL/MARVEL fans are waiting for a 1/6 DEADPOOL and at the moment nobody seems to have the balls to do it. I know you guys can do it and it will be mind blowing for all collectors and a super fun project for you all.
A: Balls, deadpool, I see him as an easy one! I still remember seeing him in Xforce for the first time, mmmm mmmm mmmmm!

Q: Since you are being involved with CAPCOM, is there a chance for their Mega Man X and Zero classics released by threeA?
A: I would say maybe thats a Threezero project, im not saying they are, but unless im changing the characters up or have direct connection I want to stay clear of licensed material! I wanna play Mega man now!

Q: Custom and DIY is part of the great fun of collecting threea figures. We got some nice artists among the Legion and it would be awesomely great to see Bertie, TK, TQ, Armstrong, Caesar, Square, Grunts, Zombs, Bramble, Ankou, Dropies and otters available, as resident sales at Bamba and when you have sold enough, you can dispatch them into production? Or that's what mentioned earlier Bot Factory will be all about?
A: I guess I can offer DIY anything, my only issue they ain't that much cheaper to make, and the packaging and shipping is the pointy bit.. Ill do a experiment, ill offer some stuff, see how it goes, cant do better than that. I always enjoy seeing what the Legion does!

Q: Are EVENFALL TOTEM T.H.U.G suits controlled by adult humans or perhaps by kids (just saw Enders Game recently)?
A: Kids, nah... They have adult pilots etc.

Q: I loved the MiM pack, any chance we see a Dirty Deeds 1/4th (or so) mini platoon pack? Containing a couple of DD Berties and a de Plume figure? WWR Bertie MK3.5 (damaged), please?
A: I have a new Deplume coming Marque de plume, he might go with a bot, and DDv2 etc.

Q: Any chance for a ghost of Merde spirit of adventure version? You know that appears to Bleak when he is down and out with words of wisdom like - "get up you guttersnipe your a mission!" Might be cool!
A: Merde aint dead, well sorta, Mission family members are rather tough, dont go down easy, they are the masters of M.I.A

Q: I hope to see 1/6th scale versions of surprise Squares from WWRp Dropcloth superset at Bambalandstore one day. And since we are on the subject, how many different squares were there in total? I counted three regular and Legion Square, which seems to be more rare.
A: Thats the plan, I have them all in 1/6th, always make large versions of every mini square released and not released.. I think thats what you're asking ? Bottom line, we will have a new square set one day!

Q: Will there be Shadow Merde ever made?
A: yup

Q: Since Queeny was made in 1/12th scale, I been wondering whether we will see rest of 7Bones in 1/12th scale?
A: Can't be offered as one set now, but still cool! mmm that isnt a given, I really Queeny, so she made the lady set etc..

Q: Is AKLUB #4 Zomb MD, still scheduled for this month? It's cool if things changed, just want to know if I should be saving up for him this month.
A: Things are taking longer for the DOC, Ill give a good heads up before his sale date. I really want to get info like this out in the future, its easy to get caught up in making things and forget about logistics etc.

Q: I was curious about Tomorrow Kings prizes for animation contest winners, will you show them at the blog before sending out to winners? I am really excited to see what you did with them!
A: mm probably not, that will be up the winner, must finish them, gah!

Q: What do you think about 2013? Did it turn out for you personally and art-wise? Do you have any resolutions for 2014?
A: Always want to do better, 2013 was like every other year, a exercise in what I can do better. 2014 push further, dont look back!

Q: I personally can't wait to see what 3A has cooking for NYTF in February! Will there be any special drops at Bambalandstore?
A: I am not sure, we certainly will have unseen toys at the show, and I think we should be able to offer, its just a time and resource issue, fingers crossed !

Q: Fighting JC is such an icon! Any chance to see him on prints / giclees?
A: Really, a JC print, get me a list of people wanting such stuff!

Q: With an expansion of The Adventures of Isobelle line, is there a chance of clothes packs sold at Bamba? I would love to buy some Beer Girl's boots for my other figs!
A: ha, you know that would be great, like Barbie, just a blister packed set of clothes etc.. I am on it !

Q: When we might see first releases from MARS initiative?
A: Well Crystal is working away on her line, and we have teamed up on a 1/6th bike as well. Also a new female figure from Crystal is in sculpting.

Q: What are you the most excited about in 2014? WWR EVOL, new Popbot, new Les Mort, Marvel maybe or something else?
A: I like all my stuff equally, of course somedays im hyper excited about this or that, though Newtons War is pretty exciting to design!

Q: What are you doing during Bambalandstore pre-orders? Do you paint or monitor the pre-order to see whether people supported the release or you wait till the very end, to give it a look?
A: I draw, design, take care of 3A business etc, I have learned over the years not to worry and just accept the outcome. In the end thats all I can do, If you guys support it, awesome, ill do more, if not Ill think again on it. My main internal mission is to just do it, not think about the market, how to sell etc, thats pretty much it, sure im like wow, no one wanted that, I wonder why?, but thats also the beauty of it, its not a given, its not mcdonalds, and it could all end so quick. Its a great romance, all or nothing, any other way wouldnt be fun right ?

Q: What was the most exciting 3A sale for you so far? What surprised you the most? Was it Large Martin sale back in the day, when Mr. Frosty was gone without any photos (just a partial teaser)?
A: mm that would have been Nom de Plume, a great day, Mr Frosty was a great indication that 3A supporters were the best, trusting and generous!

Q: Will there be a new RE-VENTURE 2.0 show in Hong-Kong / China in 2014?
A: You know, we want to do them in the USA or Europe next, time will tell!

Q: Seeing so many beautiful and different Isobelle releases, made me think about cunt-wine, you mentioned in the good old days of first 3A forum. It was such a cool idea, do you remember the times?
A: I have purchased cases of unlabeled wine just for this, OL CUNTY sav is happening! I dont forget anything as great as this, I loved the forum for such fun stuff! Issobelle and co are important parts of my cannon, and shit like Ol Cunty too, its my Warhol side, the artistry in multiply etc Pascha is a transition card, a bridge against many things, Im just glad Ms Pascha writes such material and conjures apparitions of discord.

Q: You mentioned 10" TQs, will this body be used for other figures like World of Isobelle Pascha and Adventure Kartel Characters? So their height will be more proportional to male threeA figures.
A: All my females are in proportion, in my worlds they always tower above, but yes, the 10" will be used all over, for two reasons, its cool and it cost a fuckload to make:)

Q: Last week you said: "Yes" to new EMGY robots but nothing about that Deep Powder part of the question. Does this mean we won't see a WWR Deep Powder Bertie MK2 or no new Deep Powder or Winter themed robots beyond that into the Evol-chapter?
A: They will be there if there is support for the lines, also the Bertie MK2 1/6th will certainly have Deep Powder versions.

Q: Will we see Martian Sloggers in 2014? And how many different variants there will be? Do you have a name for them already?
A: It would be nice, Im always pushing to get stuff sooner, as mentioned earlier, who knows how long this will continue right, I want them as much as you!!!!

Q: What will be first new Grunt release in 2014 (you mentioned that they are coming)?
A: EVOL GRUNT

Q: We'll see new EMGY robots in the future (based on your answers), will we see new EMGY troopers as well?
A: EMGY is different in EVOL, I think I hinted at this, its become pretty obvious they were not the most caring of corps, so they decide to say fuck it, and go on the offense!

Q: We know that first WWR Evol release is the Rothchild and who will be the last? Do you have whole story formulated in your head?
A: Last will be Rothchild, he started this war, he will be there at the end, he might be my fav character in WWR, I think he represents much, a product of his surrounds, how a child can be twisted by lack of care and empathy, which he then transfers to the world. But he is also smart and does not have such a simple track as I want to be evil and kill, in his mind he is a stern father, believing his way is right. Complex and nebulous.

Q: With a new 10" TQ in the works will we see more catsuit Tomorrow Queens or Tomorrow Queens with stockings like the iconic Munich NTQ? Maybe a new 3 pack like the first regular Bambaland release?
A: The suits were cool, I miss them...

Q: There has been some misunderstanding about the term: "Corp" in WWR, especially when we were discussing it on the forum, as everyone has opinions and his own idea about WWR.
If you use the word in JEA Marine Corp, EMGY Corp, Lactose Corp or Medic Corp do you mean "Corps" or "Corporation"? As in that last case these might be some kind of guns for hire, instead of military or public service.
A: Corp as in group, loosely military in term!

Q: Last week there was a question about Martian Robots and you answered we already have seen Martian Robots. Since they aren't easily recognizable for some of the fans and there had been a heated debate about it, can you please give us a hint or say the ones mentioned below are Martian or not?

A: The head hunter drop cloth, the butcher style etc. There are a few.

Q: When threeA started, we had a couple of major and new WWR robot releases per year. It slowed down lately, will we see more WWR robots and variants in 2014 with WWR Evol reboot?
A: Well with Harold taking so long, we didn't feel it would be right to offer more until done, also the price is rather high and we don't want to stress WWR fans with too many large robots (I think Harold buyers will love him, and the mini Harold!!), you guys are always saying too much, costs too much we do listen, but sometimes economics say we have to offer stuff etc.

Q: There has been some talk about the scale of the TK Hunter posted on the WO7174 blog, some insisted it was 1:12 and some recent artwork you posted indicates they're correct. Is the TK Hunter 1:12 or 1:6 and / or are we still waiting for a 40" 1:6 TK Hunter robot?
A: Well the TK hunter really works in the 1/12th world, the scale is right for that, but during my play test, it works well with 1/6th too. its really big already, the engineering at this size is kinda crazy already, its not like the shogun warriors with simple articulation etc, these guys can move really well, any bigger and the equation gets crazy and the costs just get stupid. The TK hunter is really fun and great, I really cant wait to show you guys how it works and what you can do with it!

Q: Not sure this has been asked already but since you mentioned we will see a new 1:6 scale Kitty release to go with a new Popbot figure, is it possible we will see a new vinyl 1:1 kitty in the AW collection?
A: I want a vinyl Kitty 1:1, ill see what possible, I know I have been told there are size limits to what vinyl sizes we can do etc.

Q: Is there a distinguished line between the original Adventure Kartel series and The Fucking Robot Island series or is it just a name?
A: Well is the story line they appear in, its a trigger for your imagination mainly, the characters that appear are involved in the story and have that logo thingy to say so. There will be a new story line soon, The Dead Astro kinda starts it, as he is on the hunt to kill Tommy Mission, this is tough for many reasons, as Tommy aint alive, Bleak doesn't like the idea of anyone fucking with his boy, alive or dead, Little Shadow feel almost guilty and decides to stage a coup he own family to take away the focus that she might have hired the Dead Astro etc. FUCKING FAMILY COUP storyline it will be called.. mm maybe it should be on the Astro...!!

Q: Technically we've had 4 Tommy Mission variants, will we see a more evolved 2014 variant in the future, maybe a Shit Got Real Tommy?
A: I have a new Tommy, ON THE RUN TOMMY, in disguise Tommy basically, with some magical weapons!

Q: Are BEER Girls pre-made or just limited, meaning that it will be F5 sale or it's 24 hours pre-order?
A: Pre-made, ltd amount for sale on Monday, its an ok number, as many as we could make up till the 24th of this month!

Q: I love to pose my Ankou-Ex Thruxton Industrial Army Hire with a Bertie Smart gun but hated to leave one of my Caesars practically without heavy fire power. Is a WWR robot weapon pack still on the horizon? Or would it be a better idea to have all WWR weapons listed separately in a standard gun metal colorway for a month or so as Bambaland Resident Sale and ship them with a standardized S/H price to eager fans? No emo about weapons left out of the weapon pack or not enough from one or another.
A: You know I have sent in the weapons pack details, I guess no one thinks its cool enough to make but you and me!

Q: On the WO3A blog you posted new WO7174 and AK t-shirts, will these come in the "girly sizes" t-shirt variants? Female among 3A Legion need some t-shirts too!
A: I can ask, but I think a tshirt provider only makes the sizes we offer, I want the female legion to have the choice too! They are going up this week, just as FYI.

Q: Without the forum it's very difficult to follow what's going on with Zomb Anthology Book for charity, can you please give us some update? Would love to support the good cause and this awesome project! Thank you again for allowing us to contribute!
A: Um my part is done, I'm waiting to get a copy myself, I can't speak on anyones else's behalf! I think its great that the 3A community made it happen!

Q: When did you came to revelation that 3A is more than just a company and is changing the whole vinyl scene and influences so many people? What were you thinking in that moment?
A: err, is it, I kinda don't think like that, I think, I don't know what I think, I feel i just want to make stuff I like etc, I figure im not that special, so maybe some other folks may dig what I do. I just want to be that guy that doesnt change his ways, regardless of what changes around him, ill still say cunt and draw breasts and spell shit wrong, just to fuck with peeps or for me, or best of all to make TP smile. I want to know this In the end as soundtrack cuts in and my ship is sinking ill do a lookback, salute and go under happy! that kinda doesnt answer the question, but sounds pretty cool!

Q: Will we see more AP-PEL figures in WWR? Or Steve was the one and only figure? Which frankly makes sense.
A: That was my one off gesture to Apple and Jobs, i love that toys but damn I should have made a Mac classic square!!!! nooooooooo

Q: The attachment points for the shoulders on the Harold are interesting. Can you talk a little about the development of those?
A: Well its was an elegant fix, simple and effective, all the kudos goto the 3A engineers!

Q: Would it ever be possible to see a retail wave of mixed styles of WWRp - Harold/Bertie/Dropcloth/etc?
A: Yes, in fact retail will see that, we are overhauling the way we do retail sales and mixing waves is just one of those changes!

Q: If TKLUB (and all the other Klubs) are to be one per person in 2014, does this mean no more blind variants?
A: You can get one of each variant, but not say 20 and sell on etc. but hey we never do variants!

Q: With 3AA almost upon us, I would love to know what licensed figures will we see in 2014? You mentioned Marvel specifically and hinted other designers and artists. I know that 3AA doesn't have written in stone plan, but better hint would be great! SGDM and MaK maybe?
A: Actually our plans are 90% original content, I see 3A's strength as bringing original ideas to market, regarding licenses thought we have more Halo, Marvel, MGS, Valve universe and transformers and not forgetting Micronauts. Thats more than enough! Naturally we have some surprises in these realms as well!

Q: I have a question, will you produce others figures inspired by some of your paintings? If yes, then who is next?
A: Thats the plan, always has been, Im very interested in making the oddball robots that have appeared over the years, the lopsided ones etc.

Q: Me and my kids would love to see Iron Giant made by 3A, would you be interested in something like that?
A: I love robots, the Iron Giant is a great story and design, I wouldn't say no!

Q: When you do your black and white/ink work, do you primarily use markers or do you use croquet pens? And what brands do you use? I'm just curious how you achieve your line work!
A: I use all sorts, mainly calligraphy markers from many companies! I dont want to say exactly which, as they all have different qualities and you should personally try them all to find out what you like, i assume your an artist ?

Q: Is Cornelius TK coming in art-box or it's a blister, or you haven't decided yet?
A: mmm I would say box, I like the sticker box, the NYC version is the transparent box thingy!

Q: Are you going to run an open booth at NYTF or we will have to make an appointments (press-appointments and such)?
A: Open!

Q: After MEGO line reveal, I got curious, whether Microman are still in the works and when we might see 'em? In early December, you mentioned that they are so close! Sorry for being impatient, just super pumped for them!
A: Actually they are close, but I have to wait for Takara to give the OK, I have the first wave in hand, would so love to show them…

Q: Can you please tell us about any plans for new De Plume figures that may be in the pipeline? Also very curious if you have any plans to revisit any of the De Plumes in EVOL, I personally really really hope you will give us a new, evolved, Kuan Ti Plume. How about it?
A: A new Deplume is close, one of the inner circle, not a fallen one, all new head sculpt etc, part of the EVOL story! After the ROTHCHILD REBOOT release.

Q: What's the story behind the Suicide Club Armstrong? How does he fit into WWR universe, and will you ever do more Suicide Club figures? It's a great colourway!
A: Its a hobbled together Armstrong, made from excess parts of other bots, used without regard in defense or attack, hence the name etc. It might be fun to make another suicide bot…

Q: Can we please get a peek at the chubby TQ body soon?
A: Chunky, not chubby, we have some fun figs in dev for the body, but I guess its like always, small team, lots of toys, but we will get to them soon, not enough TQ in general released lately!

Q: Are you still planning to offer 1/12 MK1 Square mega-set at some point?
A: Yes, but as we don't want to release any prior sold squares in 1/12th we need more designs etc, I just need to find time to make them.

Q: I am so looking forward to 3AA 2014 on January 15th, do I have to be early at 9:00AM or it's 24 hours for everyone?
A: Everyone I guess, unless a freaky amount want to join then we have internal number that would shave us flick the switch just to 3AA 2013 members. Im pretty sure you will be ok!

Q: Back in July you gave us dates and prices of few figures ahead of time and it was personally great and very convenient for me. Will you be repeating this in the future or such things very hard to preset?
A: I would like a system, that gives a good overview, but it seems best laid plans always get shuffled here and I don't want to say this date and price then change etc, I think in general we would like to offer advance info and such, its good for you and us and we will work on that for 2014.

Q: Do you have any 1:1 3A figures in your house and if yes, what are they? I bet there are some Squares and Kitties all around the place and maybe LM in the garden?
A: I have a few, i have to say my fav is Peppermint Grove, it has a real presence and can be kinda freaky late at night.. Of course the 1inch nipples kinda disarms!

Q: Do you have nieces or nephews and what kinds of toys they prefer? Do you give them 3A presents?
A: A niece, who is becoming a great artist in her own rights, and shows good taste by digging ger Uncles toys!

Q: Somebody might argue with me, but I think that 3A 2013 will be remembered as the year of TKLUB and Isobelle Pascha! What was for you the most memorable sale for you?
A: I think it was the year of Pascha, personally I had fun with Pascha, and it was great to see you guys did too, sure she ain't for all, no weapons or fantasy tropes ( I guess some peoples fantasy ) but the audience was there and that made it all the sweeter! I really enjoyed the Dolphin sale, he is a main part of the AK story and his story isn't over, far from it!

A: The Link is the 0day Robot of the AK universe, all the robots just don't appear out of thin air, they have their origins with THE LINK! and yes I have many ideas for Bounty Hunters, fingers crossed I get to make them all! The AK world is rich with ideas, at this point they kinda sprout naturally as in my head I have a whole eco system!

Q: In the tradition of Missions working with canine companions, has Merde Mission ever run with an old dog by his side?
A: Well Merde has always had a penchant for German Shepherd, he see's all other dogs as weak, unlike his now departed GS ROMMEL! Do we need a Rommel German shepherd, I would like one, actually we are working on a 1:1 Custard in Hoody and battle fatigues, I think a Shepherd would work well in 1:1. 3A pets, better that the real thing, why, they look cooler and dont piss or shit on your carpet! And if you want to buy a good quality living dog, our will be cheaper as well. 3A KENNELS!

Q: What is the difference between the Soy variants and the regular Peppermint Grove and Golden Dolphin / Soy Dolphin as far as their attitude and nature? Are the Soy's more/less of a badass or more evil or something?
A: They are shadows, that are given a life of their own on certain nights, they escape the prison of the caster, to do good or bad, but they are fucking tough and not to be messed with!

Q: Who do the Soys fight for on the Island? Are they also part of the Kartel or something totally different?
A: They are just what they are, they don't consider good or bad as a disposition, just following their natural agenda, they do seem to have a distaste for robots though!

A: You have no idea about the Nabler, or maybe you do and the one eye fucker sold me out without my knowing..dont look under your beds!.. The Soot diver is a MORTIS bot, called a soot diver due to its long trail of smoke as it descends on its target etc.

Q: By all means, please do tell us more about WBR and Mars! The feel of the blurry pick reminds me a lot of Gigantor and Goldorack. Do they have pilots? Are they giant robots fighting one another all over the planet or they are fighting some huge monsters/aliens? Is the WBR line going to focus solely on Shogun-type figs or will it include other types of Robots? Will the Robots all be 24" scale or will there be in all sorts of different sizes? And finally, do you have an idea how many you plan on releasing a year?
A: Well Mars is my Shogun Warrior I guess, thats where my heart is with him, in the WBR universe he the big gun, kick ass robot etc, he appears when a kicking is needed! The scale is 1/12th, so the human characters will be 6" etc, and other robots will fit into that scale ,the release after Mars is way smaller and so on. WBR gives me lots more latitude for style, I can do big Shogun warrior type design, then a 60's style robot, there isnt a strict design brief because all these robots are from all over, not a single designer or company like WWR. Will reveal MARS soon, flashy looking fucker for sure and the size just makes it all the sweeter! Looks good fighting the TK hunter too!

Q: What colorways are planned for the MK2 Berties release?
A: The classic and some unseen, with some different parts! I so wanna do a Dirty deeds set at 1/6th!

Q: WWR Meat is Murder Superset was such an epic release! Can we have a Jungler Superset now pretty please?

Second, in a war time prepare for peace, in peace time prepare for war, so what happened after WWR ? I know you just made a new chapter EVOL in WWR, but after that all what will happen and how does it all end?
A: How does it end, thats telling.

A: Its an oracle in the AK world, this particular one is a severed Zomb head, we will have them at NYCTF, hopefully we can see some fans and give them out to them too!!

Q: After seeing Lasstranaut figure just now…I am just speechless, been waiting for her since 2009! I am curious what type of skin is used on the figure and whether it stretches while posing?
A: Well its a work in progress, actually the final shipping Lass will be much cooler, but you know, the figure exudes the quality i wanted, its a fun figure. Re skin well I dont know its name, ill deem it stretchy stuff from today! And remember, this is it, no more Lass releases, she doesnt come in other colors, or variations there is only one Lass! Mark my words we will be working hard up till the last moment before production to make Lass the best!

A: Dredd, Death, Sov Judge, Johnny Alpha, Rouge, Nemesis ( any yes all ABC will be there ). Gonna release in groups too, not singular releases. Im sure your sick of hearing me say I love these characters, but I do, we are risking a lot of $ on this, but I think they have to be made!

Q: Love the EDO shoes. Any chance you'd do an articulated shoe set of different colored kicks or more shoes like that on future TKs? Speaking about future, will we see more robotic EDO-like TKs?
A: Cool, me too, simple yet has the right effect! I like the realistic shoes, but I kinda like the sculpted too, I think we will offer a more articulated foot soon too for TKs. I dont want to try and make the TK look or feel real, I like the toy look it has, the joints, the limitations are part of its charm, so expect more references to that as we go on.. A: Well no, Bramble has moved on to WWR, and so has the WBR world, no relation to POPBOT or WWR, only the name is the same. MARS has turned out really smashing, and the next robot is cool and way different to MARS. Like I said somewhere WBR is my robot do anything thing, no style or story restrictions, Im thinking of releasing each robot with a 1/12th human character, to make sure size ref is always understood.. even writing this gets me going on ideas and stuff...

Q: Is there any room for animal/human hybrids in any of your Universes? You have a guy sporting a Dolphin hat but what about an eel man named Maurie with a human hat perhaps? Just wondering if we will ever see anything of the sort from you..
A: mmmm, if I can make sense of it, not just animal with human part for the hell of it. Im really kinda strict on my ideas, it has to have some kinda reasoning behind it.

Q: Love the EDO shoes. Any chance you'd do an articulated shoe set of different colored kicks or more shoes like that on future TKs? Speaking about future, will we see more robotic EDO-like TKs?
A: Cool, me too, simple yet has the right effect! I like the realistic shoes, but I kinda like the sculpted too, I think we will offer a more articulated foot soon too for TKs. I dont want to try and make the TK look or feel real, I like the toy look it has, the joints, the limitations are part of its charm, so expect more references to that as we go on.. Wow what the fuck does that even mean.. ! runs off

Q: Now that we're seeing a kick-off to the World's Best Robots line (Mars looks killer, by the way), can we expect the Bramble Softacre and Hardacre in 1/6th articulated form? I am sure Popbot fans would rejoice!
A: Well no, Bramble has moved on to WWR, and so has the WBR world, no relation to POPBOT or WWR, only the name is the same. MARS has turned out really smashing, and the next robot is cool and way different to MARS. Like I said somewhere WBR is my robot do anything thing, no style or story restrictions, Im thinking of releasing each robot with a 1/12th human character, to make sure size ref is always understood.. even writing this gets me going on ideas and stuff...

Q: Is there any room for animal/human hybrids in any of your Universes? You have a guy sporting a Dolphin hat but what about an eel man named Maurie with a human hat perhaps? Just wondering if we will ever see anything of the sort from you..
A: mmmm, if I can make sense of it, not just animal with human part for the hell of it. Im really kinda strict on my ideas, it has to have some kinda reasoning behind it.

Q: Did I understand your first 3AGO announcement that Nom de Plume and Tomorrow Kings, will be offered at NYCTF first, but then will make it's way to Bambalandstore? Or there might be a pre-order for them going (giving time to manufacture and tweak the tiny imperfections you mentioned), during NYCTF?
A: Well we will have alpha versions of the TK there to give away, not really close to the final that you will be able buy, but we thought it might be fun etc. Nothing will be sold at the Toy Fair, only given away! So make sure you sneak in..

Q: What are the chances of seeing massive WWRp supersets like "Under the bed Red" and "Frosty Choads" back in the day?
A: You want them, I LOVE THEM , how about we do this, I devise the set, put it up, if it sells enough Ill make it , deal ? Coz they are pricey affairs to ship, not only make so I need a minimum support. Ill do soe more sales like this, you guys have always been great in taking leaps of faith by supporting sales with just artwork, so lets see what we can do! actually, you guys have no idea how flattering it is when I sell toys based on a drawing, that is pure 3A, I feel like I could take on the whole empire at that moment, and not get fried in the back of the snowspeeder!

Q: Sam Kieth's the Maxx appears in an early issue of Popbot, so obviously he exists on some level in the Popbot universe; I'm wondering if you can further explain for us where Popbot characters and Maxx characters would exist in relation to each other? Like, is the Outerverse similar to Sam's Outback (Pangaea)? Does Maxx ever fight alongside a TK/Q, or even know of them? Do TK/Qs ever have to mow down armies of isz, or ride air whales? Just really curious about it, thank you!
A: Well the MAxx and Kitty are friends, they shared a common reality for their meetings, no other interactions happened outside of that. I like to think of the MAxx and Kitty representing Me and SAm in those instances, a reverse of the 4th wall.

Q: Any chance of getting a "Sunday Q and A" AK theme coffee mug? I would so buy two!
A: mm ill find a really ropey place that makes printed mugs POD and have them offered!

Q: With the characters and storyline of Tomorrow King are expanding so vast, is it possible if TKs (or TQs too) will be separated from Popbot storyline and making into their own line and story? I see you already separating TK toys and Popbot toys on wo3a menu page, so maybe that's a start?
A: I have mused about this for years, and have been asked many times by many publishers, but its just a time issue, I think the TK have a large and separate story to tell, that is only really glimpsed in the Popbot comic!

Q: When its time for the next WWR superset to go up for pre-order can we please have a 1/12 option sold at the same time, I mean the very same set, but in 1/12 scale ?
A: Sure, but they will have to meet the minimum to make the cut too!

Q: Any chance the WF 1G Armstrong will have a backstory like Oliver the EURO Bramble? Love to learn more about WWR combat in the jungles and more about the tactics of the WF in particular. Also any chance the Armstrong will include a ghillie suit for camo? WF yo!
A: WF will be revealed soon, The WWR EVOL prelude comic in the non com set leads into the WF stuff!

Q: Can you please confirm that Marquis de Plume will be coming with Bertie MK2? And speaking about Berties, it would be great to have few month heads up (especially if they will compete in variety with Harolds), before they go up…as I am planning to buy all of them!
A: Marquis isnt coming with Bertie MK2 ? Who said that? Ill give you a good heads up for the sale! Marquis is Feb and needs no Bertie to make trouble!

Q: Will Microman get those cool weapons and accessories like the vintage Japan counterpart? And are we going to see some Microman villains? Villains always have such a cool personalities and fun to collect!
A: Well if there is interest in the line, as in people buy it, yea, they will get it, I have the Hoodman ready to go and Acroyear, but its a case of seeing how it pans out. I for one want to do vehicles etc!

Q: Do you have a personal favorite Lasstranaut depiction? You have created different versions of her, do you have a personal favorite 'look'?
A: The next one! I like them all, I like the cartoony ones, and the painterly ones, the character has many moods!

Q: Is there any way that a carrying case/box to house 1/6 figures, not bots obviously, could be looked into development? Maybe like a briefcase or something that holds 3 or four 1/6 figures and a little system to hold them into place with foam inserts? 3A might start and lead a revolution there!
A: That would be cool, a nice way to store and kinda cool looking! Ill say it again, we can make anything like this, if you guys want it..

Q: Will the Lasstranaut 3AA 2014 membership box be able to hold AP boxes like the 3AA 2013 Blanc Hunter box was able to last year?
A: errr , I dunno what that means ? re submit the question ill answer next week?

Q: Do you have vehicles/bots--Biotron, Microtron, etc. kind of stuff in the works for the String Divers to pilot?
A: As answered before in the 5th question , Bio-tron is so cool, gah it all is!

Q: Is there a date or month this year with 1/12 Sea Monkey and Snow Pea name on it?
A: Late Jan early Feb, the Sea Monkey Snow Pea set, also other members separately sold from G.H.G, which Snow pea is member.


Q: After all the talking about Andy Warhol, I been thinking: is there a chance on a Popbot Sherlock Holmes?
A: Ol fish tank head, I want to to show what happened to my Sherlock, but with so many sherlock around now it would seem trite or band wagon jumping!.. Ill address it, and who know maybe a fig, but many more in front to be made!

Q: Why is there so much German in the WWR Universe? Are the NOM German? Does Germany have major significance in the WWR Universe?
A: Im half German, so its a natural affair! Germany does play a major part in the WWR universe, its one of the founding members of rebel countries that eventually stand up against the Earth coalition and say all this war shit against Mars is nuts, stop now or will annex ourselves from the coalition etc. which leads to a sticky situation as you can imagine and cool storylines. Evol is the umbrella for this, not just Rothchilds change but Earth's as well. The Nom come from everywhere!

Q: What do all Tomorrow Kings or de Plume keep in their pouches?
A: Dried fish, what does a soldier keep, rations, munitions, medical, survival whatnots! spank mag, communication devices, whetstone, underwear etc.

Q: Any chance at an EDO with metallic paint app, like an IRON EDO cyborg perhaps? With a bit of rust and different weapon possibly?
A: I have a bronze EDO, who wants a Bronz edo!

Q: I was wondering, there has been some talk about new ladies, would you consider a Valentine's Day Tomorrow Queens sale? Might be cool, especially considering how it falls on NYCTF dates…so we will have something waiting for us at Bamba!
A: Well we could but it would have to off art, with CNY upon us the hatchery is slowing down and only top priority stuff is getting made or sampled! Make no mistake, I see 3A as being a premier maker of the female figure one day, thats along term plan and we are working on them always, NYC TF will have some new ones and our large size prototypes!

Q: How will 3A Adventure comic be distributed both digital and print, can I for example subscribe for the printed version with my local shop?
A: Well the digital version will be available for download from our website, the print copy is still debatable, maybe my friends at IDW might print and distribute to comic shops etc.

Q: Are you planing to release more WWR or WWRp robots with a canister (the one from WWRp MK3.5 Bertie package), just like the sketches of the first Bertie MK1 suggested?
A: How about a canister pack! that might be fun and stupid, 1 pack of canisters and some weapons.. man I need a list of WWRp weapons..

Q: What does MOMBA EDO stand for? Do EDO act like human TKs, are they capable of anything a TK can do? What are their strengths and weaknesses compared to regular clones?
A: They act like guards, not much talk but always watching and considering the situation, they dont chat, but can issue commands or statements that aid in the safety of its wards. They are machines, smart , but still machines that are programmed to protect at all costs! Like any machine, a situation far enough out of its sphere will be trouble! The period of no TK's is the EDO period in my Popbot universe, its a dark time, almost medieval in tone, it doesnt last long, but its a shit time and the EDO are like the knights of the universal realm, something to look to for protection!

Q: You are probably asked a lot…but what about Iron Man and when we might see it at Bamba?
A: Well first week of Feb is Bambastark week, or around then, but its REALLY CLOSE, there are four variants, Classic, Silver Centurian, Stark Industries Prototype and the Stealth! Prototype is 3AA only as a single, or available in the mega 4 pack display box edition.

Q: After 2000AD transition into 1/12th scale, would you consider releasing the Mongrol figure again for the fans that went 1/6?
A: I would, but there were not many takers first time around, are there enough now ? Maybe an Orange Version etc mmmmmmm

Q: Will Tommy Mission be available on Bambaland after NYCTF and is there a chance for AK Zomb, 10FG and Zombkin 1:1 t-shirts?
A: You mean the 1/12th, well those shown are prototypes for the Retail display box thingy, so you can get the Tommy from that set at retail. We constantly hear that you guys want more range at retail, so this is response, plus I think its col to be able to walk into a shop and pick a figure from a display etc For t-shirts, yes, need to find time to put them up!

Q: Obvious question after all 1/12th Adventure Kartel teasers, will you make Custards (and other dogs) in 1/12th scale?
A: Custards, see the blog! or err, you would have seen them as ill put up soon as i finish this list of questions!


Q: Is there a chance to see Thrice Naut and Post Fire (Men from N.O.M) in WWR Evol?
A: maybe

Q: Are you still going to put up Bob Ross type painting tutorials, or will that be covered in the 3A magazine?
A: Well as i dont have a simple way of painting, and that was a joke, so no tutorials from me!

Q: How big in relation to a person are the T.O.T.E.M thug suits? More so are they like a suit of armor OR more of a mech/vehicle with the driver/pilot housed in the body cavity? After analyzing the art, I am interested if the pilot is contained just in the torso or is encased in it like a suit with the upper helmet/shoulders worn almost like a hat on top of the skull?
A: You will see soon!

Q: Some time ago you recommended The Nao of Brown on your blog which I really enjoyed, have you read anything noteworthy since then? Please do share.
A: Nothing of that standard, I read lots of non fiction these days… nothing to recommend! But you know you cant go wrong with Alan Moore Swamp thing!

A: No TQ edo style on the blocks, and for a reason, one day ill spill the beans as they say ! Lets get the Bronze Baron EDO into action asap!

Q: Luther Bean Sr. is mentioned, I believe by Mort in a D'Airain Adventure. So, Mort is living in a past storyline to the Popbot universe in that? It has been speculated that Future Mort would be released under Adventure Kartel (unless that's bogus), is it that Adventure Kartel and Popbot happen in the same universe, but at far different points in time? Or can Mort or Luther Bean Sr. jump between universes?
A: Well Mort was gonna be a part of a shared POP universe but I thought him better suited for AK. There is a group of Skull faced characters n the AK universe, they are all related.

Q: SDCC is pretty much my favorite event of the year. Any chance you can give us some hints on what you guys have in store for this year? We have been clamoring for a 1:6 TK since 3A has been going to SDCC, will we see one soon?
A: Yea, you know, I know that, and thinks it cool too.. If we are gonna do SDCC ( we want a booth, but never seem to get one? please help us SDCC people!) and have a toy, ill make it TK. My aim this year is to up the POPBOT villain quota, the TK hunter is ready in the wings, see it at the NYC TF, I have a Mortis mobile gun, a TK Sweeper bot all close too!

Q: After seeing GHG and its great helmets, it came to my head that would be great to see NOM or Grunt as elite pilots in WWR EVOL? Those helmets on 1/6 scale figures would be just great! Thank you very much for creating amazing worlds… we will be there to live in them!
A: Well the Nom pilots where the Gas style masks etc, In the upcoming WWRp Commanders set's comic there is a brief sequence with a space deplume, which I now want to make, kinda a pilot thing… gah, jet fighter De plume does sound cool ! I have the Mego 8" astronaut ( jet pilot by any other name ) on my wall in my office, be fun to make a ropey jet de plume in 8"!

Q: Is there a room in WWR EVOL for some exoskeleton / combat suit and perhaps engineer to fix them?
A: There is now, as the field of conflict has radically changed due to events of EVOL!

Q: Could you give us any updates on any of the film or series please? Any chance of a sneaky peek from you and Pete Ford?
A: Lore is doing great, I hope to be able to share some news very very soon, WWR is looking for a director last I heard, same with ZvR. I kinda stay out of the movie stuff, until I make one. I like doing stuff, not discussing so to speak!

Q: You mentioned in one of previous sessions that Word Best Robots could come with each 1/12 pilot to feel the sense on there actual size. Will we get some comics to bring us more info on this world too?
A: Yes. you will, the world they are in is as important as the toys, they need each other, I think for everything I do that is the case!

Q: You teased us greatly with all these AP figures ( in prototype displays for NYCTF ), my money is already waiting ! Any chance that whole boxes will be made available at Bambalandstore for 3AA members? For many of us it's hard to find retailer in our country or International retailer who would ship abroad. And I was wondering how those long boots are made on Merde and Bleak? Are they solid or some kind of PU leather to help with posing?
A: Retail is a super important part of what we do, it gets our stuff out and lets people see it etc, but also your support is just as valid to us as well, and I dont want you missing out due to locality restrictions etc. So Im sure we can work something out on a large level or work with individuals etc. Re boots, soft is the intent ( still need to get the final samples ) and these figures have been made ahead of time to let us fix issues and try and make the nest mini AK we can, like out 3AGO figures for NYC, alpha versions that are already well out of date, regarding the head sculpt and body articulation, and clothing material etc. We are spending more $ and time in R&D to make the best we can!

Q: Will you be doing the box art for Invincible Iron Man? Any chance of an illustrated comic with the figure on the back of a poster maybe?
A: Well I want to illustrate them, but thats a Marvel thing, fingers crossed!

Q: Can you please share a bit more about Bravest Warriors upcoming toys? Maybe you will be doing some art for kaBoom? And an ultimate question: will there be an Adventure Time figures?
A: We have teamed with Frederator to make toys for Bravest Warriors and Puppycat, to make killer 1/6th versions, show accurate, also to make 3ASH versions of them, which is kinda awesome too, for me No Adventure Time for now, but I would love to make nice toys from that world, the more obscure characters in 1/6th, are screaming for toy life! I have varied tastes in many things, and I want 3A to reflect that, from WWR to Marvel, to Pascha to Valve to Popbot to Frederator!

Q: Drop some Marquis de Plume intel on us please?! What qualifies him to take on the fallen? Why was he chosen by the Supreme? Are there other fallen hunters or is he the only one? Does Barguest and Kuan know he is coming after them? Why does he not have N.O.M. issue guns – looks like he has reg Grunt handgun?
A: Every collective has an enforcer street gang, ice hokey, government etc, Ol Marquis is the NOM's goto guy to lay the strap down. He has taught the best, he has killed the best. Ill give a heads up soon, im hoping to show something with his sale announcement , but we shall see!

Q: Is WARBOT a single killing machine or is it a member of a crew or faction( are there more than one)? There has been a bit of debate in the superset thread (where we discussing what superset would be great next) about it, please help clarify if you can.
A: Warbot is a different world really, but If I had to write it into lore, Warbot got plucked outta the WWR universe using similar portal tech that brought Zombies into the ZvR reality. The journey messed his wiring up a bot and decided to go on a one bot Zombie killing spree. We are going to team with IDW to finally do a proper range of ZvR toys, cover some of the fun stuff in 1/6th! you heard it first here, THE SUNDAY Q and ASS.

Q: Any chance we see some new squares this year? - I'm not just talking colorways, I'm talking weapons,packs,doors,etc..such a great design with so much room for growth!
A: EVOLSQUARE is coming!

Q: It's been mentioned that the ZWARTE TORENS ( Dutch Mercs) only DOMED (headed) bots. Does this just apply to the CAESARS ( when this factoid was told to us) or is that faction wide deal (we have seen a 1/12 ZT Square so there is wiggle room)? This would make them basically a Bertie/Caesar built faction if that be the case, unless there are other domed bots we have yet to see..please elaborate if possible, since ZT appears to be the last of the MERC crews..
A: In the WWR universe what seems like a Merc could easily be a government or Rothchild operation. A lot of work is done under the premise of this or that, Merc and so on. Info coming soon!

Q: Any word on Misty Slush preorder date (hopefully sometime this year) and perhaps some info on the robots in that painting, please? Can they be included too for a Popbot Brainfreeze Superset?! (I really dig that painting)
A: Well the sisters have these Drink Handles so to cover their real identities. Lady Sham, Misty Slush, Shandy etc on sale this year, how great to make a toy called Misty Slush!

Q: Any chance of giving us a hint on the first 1/6th AK release for 2014. Who and when would be nice, I'm ready to use my new 3AA membership. Thank you!
A: Zomb MD, 10" little Shadow! I think we have a premade Shadow Merde coming too, very soon!

Q: Is there special lore behind the TK's weapons? Where do they get their swords from? TK Sun looks like he has some old school katanas, are they given them at birth or is there some fabled blacksmith out there supplying them with their gear?
A: They are made by the Weapon forger TK's, outside of the TK forces their weapons are very popular, now the war is finished the black market is the place to buy them, most have forgotten that they were in fact TK weapons, most are sold as antique sword and what not from the past, not the future!

Q: Have you been thinking about 1/6 MK2 Bertie with crying baby accessory as seen in the ZVR prints?
A: I tried to push that baby with the original Bertie release, but everyone said NO! but as no I can make it yes, the little shit will make an appearance , maybe a Warbot 1/6th set or a single!

Q: I know you mentioned MARS would be revealed at NYTF. Any chance you can share when he is tentatively scheduled for release? Need to start saving for him and can we pretty please have more notice on upcoming releases? Personally speaking I allow a monthly budget on my spending and I've had to miss out on some 3A sales because I blew my spending a few days earlier (hours once) so the more notice the more I spend at Bambalandstore.
A: Mars will be late march/april, still need to tweak bits! We do discuss upcoming stuff, but we let chaos run our system, as you know chaos can be a bitch , but dammit we will try. I woudl say this, If I make a clear ad or show may images of it painted, its close, 2-6 weeks till sale!

Q: Will the AK Book tie in characters like Merde and Bleak? Will it cover the Robot Island story arc?
A: Its just everything done plus new stuff, most have not seen the early stuff so its a nice wat ot share it. Everyone gets a mention and hope expanded upon in non linear or linear fashion. Shit I dunno, I just put them together, whatever feels right at the time! I love LOVE AK, but most have never heard of it. not seen a toy or have a poster, the first years of AK were shipped in low numbers. actually it still is, so its a building exercise still. AK is still playing bars, homing its craft and skills.

Q: Will we see more 3A Parade figures this year and if yes, than what is the name of the next release?
A: You can see them at NYCTF and online at the same time, the guy has a kilt, the girl has tight jeans, nothing else is needed!

Q: As you've probably guessed by previous sessions - there's a lot of want/interest in a 1/6th MK2 Bertie and Warbot in particular (2nd popular choice in next superset poll on 3A forum at the moment), would there be a way we could get one with an Amazon using the new seamless body?
A: Well the new seamless is on bottom half now, as shown, I know we can make the entire body like that if needed. And yes Amazon are on the list, the sisters are some of the best characters from the ZvR universe.

Q: Would we be able to see another 3A hoodie, Maybe an Adventure Kartel Hoodie to go with the shirt ?
A: I want to, but do enough of you guys want to, out tshirts are break even at best, done for fun, a hoody is more expensive too, but yea, if you guys push for it, ill make it!

Q: With Peppermint Grove pre-order two months behind us, I was wondering when the exclusive Severed Bothead may be revealed and when we might get another specific sale like that (and if there will be an announcement beforehand)?
A: We will reveal soon and put in Bamba!!

Q: With the TK classics line going back to basics, will you ever have a TK with a black eye again like how Hideo had one!? Been dying to have a TK with a black eye or even a new Hideo 2.0 would work too!
A: Yup, I love that eye, looking at the 8" ones only made my resolve to give TK's more black eyes !

Q: Is there a final word on The Maxx figure or should we stop hoping?
A: Its not up to me, if it was as easy as me saying it so, we would have them!

A: It is , isnt it. I would never make a toy without a story behind it, now I dont talk for Maestro Kenny, but Snow Pea certainly is grounded in one of my worlds. As an aside, I have a great 1/6th Snow pea figure from 2009, love it, hopefully one day I can release!

A: No Gorillaz stuff in the works , but releasing music and making videos for a virtual band…. mmmmm that would be fun!

Q: How much roughly will the Invincible Iron Man cost? Would love to buy multiples and need to plan my budget! Will it be Bambalandstore exclusives or available via retailers as well?
A: Well with 3AA is a steal, without 3AA its a bargain! Bambaland will have two exclusive IRON MAN designs!

Q: A couple of years back 3AVOX newsletter featured some shirts that were only available at a particular show. As I remember there were both olive and black shirts featuring insignia such as the Nightwatch, Dark Deed, Grave Digger etc. Point being, they actually looked like military shirts. I always thought they were the best shirts I've seen from 3A, or anyone else for that matter. Any chance any such things will ever be made available at Bambaland?
A: I think we sold some on bamba, lt me talk to Brent Ashe about teaming up to make some more new designs!

Q: You mentioned (in past Sunday Q&A) that you wouldn't say NO to Iron Giant figure…any chance 3A Legion could assist to make it happen?
A: mmmmm Legion help is always appreciated, good ol Iron Giant huh…

A: Eggs, coffee, drawing, design, paint, set to repeat.. bacon is good, I mean cmon…good lord... crispy bacon...

Q: You already mentioned in past Q&A that you will think of ways how to offer Action Portable figures teased recently on the blog on Bamba. Any chance that they can be sold on bamba in a AP AK cathedral box? So the box will double as a play set? Making that release diff to the retail?
A: I want to do a Cardboard Cathedral in a big way just need a cardboard engineer designer, I dont have those skills! cmon world, send me a cardboard cathedral designer!

Q: Will 2014 see the unveiling of a new, never before seen or mentioned, robot for the WWR Universe in either scale?
A: yes, I dont talk about many of the toys we are making, I still want a sense of surprise for much of our output!

Q: Have you ever considered making a map of the Popbot world? It'd be pretty crazy with the Underverse, outerverse, Europe is a wasteland, etc. Maps of AK and WWR would be cool too.
A: I have, but im no map maker, have to be pretty big too! I want one!

Q: Project TOTEM was created to stop the spread of the Strigoi infection or existed before that? How can a T.H.U.G suit kill a Strigoi? Does it have any weapon systems?
A: How does a thug stop a Strigoi, bashes the fuck out of it, tears its limbs off etc, standard gun fire doesnt have much effect on Strigoi, a more brutal path is needed. A popular weapon of the THUG is the steel pole, blunt trauma wounds and all! My vision of EVENFALL isnt a smart or elegant on an invading alien force, its good old fashioned grit, if the aliens hit hard, hit em back harder! The Strigoi are just one of many things that are around, the thug suit is one of many offensive weapons...

Q: In the OSM Evenfall line can we please get some large Ashley Wood style Project Totem spaceships?

Q: With the recent news that Nintendo will be expanding their character licensing have you thought any about going for the license? I don't think I'm alone in saying that I would love to see your interpretation of characters like Link and especially Samus Aran (in both Armored and Zero suit of course) I think your art style would suit them perfectly.
A: Well going forward the only licensed stuff 3A wants to do is when we can redesign on top of the original idea ( sure I love some stuff as is, but I will always stand up and have a whirl at classic stuff too! ) But I have to be honest, no Nintendo stuff at the mo. I want a Princess Daisy figure, always cooler than Peach!

Q: Now that you have said that Warbot is originally from the WWR universe is he a faction on his own or does he belong to another faction say perhaps Iron Panda?
A: I said he isnt from WWR, but I gave a way he could be! He is technically a ZvR character. BUT if he was from the WWR universe, he would be an experimental bot I think, maybe plucked from a ROTHCHILD experimental division!

Q: Great to hear the update about Bravest Warriors (in previous Sunday Q&A) - are they going to be offered up separately or as a four pack, and when you say 1/6th are we actually talking 12" figures since they're kids rather than adults?
A: Well they are big kids heights will vary! I think depending on how they are released will depend on packs, but a 4 pack would be great. My damn Beagle just ate our Catbug plush this weekend, really sad to see my youngest son giving first aid to it with bandaids.. especially when it was obvious catbug wasnt coming back..

Q: With the expansion of OSM to World War Robot Universe, is there any chance that we will see a 1/35 scale Bertie Dropship and Berties set in 1/35th scale?
A: Thats the intent, like I said, get behind this stuff, the 1/35th really lets us have fun!

Q: Will we see gigantic boxed sets of Microman?
A: Well if you guys want them, of course, the first wave is released next month, then all going well the next wave and some vehicles, the new 1/12th body has the peg holes on the back for micro action etc I have high hopes for this line!

Q: Do you have any plans to make another TQ with the Irimi headsculpt and clothing? I know that many would want this to happen, thank you!
A: Yea, I should, wow I forgot her, she was supposed to turn up at Bamba.. I thought she had...lets do it, ill draw up an ad

Q: Since we seen many characters being made in 1/12 recently is there any plans for 1/12 AP Nablers? Maybe a pack with different expressions and transparent stands? Or Nablers don't play in that scale?
A: Nablers don't do 1/12th, but saying that they suddenly will. Need to get pass the new 1/6th Nabler series coming up!

Q: You said once that Iron Panda don't have Caesar and they gone rogue, is there a chance they have Caesar if legion supports Iron Panda superset? From black market maybe? Maybe there's story in EVOL world, that there is hacker who steals robots and sell them in black market, and one of them got sold to Iron Panda fraction?
A: Panda gone Rogue superset is 1xClassic Square, 1xSquare long leg, 1xPanda Soldier, 1x Original Bramble, 1x1G Armstrong

Q: Are you aware of the success of Harold (among it's owners)? Everyone keeps their Harolds (and so do I), they are quite hard to find in aftermarket, and last time when Harold on sale at bamba, you said that if there's enough support, maybe you will release another Harold, now maybe we can see another Harold in the future? EVOL Harold maybe? Iron Panda, Dutch Merc, and Deimos need Harolds too!
A: Im not aware, but how cool is that, I love the Harold design, the tracks etc. I think I would like to see some of those colorways you mentioned at retail maybe ? Ill get onto it!

Q: Can we get some Adventure Kartel redheads please? Soft spot for the firey haired ladies.
A: Well a new Cherry Shadow is on the way!

Q: What type of bots do the WF use? We know they have Dropcloths, MK1 Squares, Harolds and Caesar's. Do they also have Brambles, Bertie MK2's, new style Dropcloths, Square MKk2's and Bertie MK3's? WF YO!
A: WF used them all, because they have access to all, they are not a simple corp, but, a ROTHCHILD CORP, they are one of Rothchilds ground divisions, always have been! In the Evol story they take centre stage! The EVOL WF superset really should be one of each robot ever, but maybe too big, you tell me ? BUT THATS A FUCKING SUPER SET!

Q: How does BcELL deliver the bots to Rothchild customers? Heavily armed convoys? Dropship? Or something else entirely different?
A: Actually they are a logistics group, they deliver everything, from weapons to tech to food, imagine an armed FEDEX!

Q: Are we going to see the release of the TKYO back-up singer "Girl R/C" anytime soon?
A: Working hard as we can to get GIRL R/C ready to offer, I just wanna do the dumb ads, TKYO are a lot of fun for me, this is their next stage in the musical evolution! Plus GIRL R/C is from the same stock as QUEENY, but much younger, she is their to lead the YO, who re intact a crack team of TK under the guise of a band! Their story isn't over by a long shot!

Q: Can you give us an estimate on next AKLUB and TKLUB releases?
A: Soon as possible, Zomb MD and nurse Zomb soon, then HEAVY SLICER for TKLUB, Chinese New Year slowed them down a little, but soon! Want to offer some standard TK non club as well!

Q: Any chance on the booster frame from "Halo Legends" for the 3A Master Chief?
A: I just want to release Master chief, soon, but a complicated toy!

Q: Marvel The Invincible Iron Man looks fantastic! Any chance we'll see Doctor Doom, Ultron, Spidey and the others at NYTF?
A: We wanted too, but Marvel approval process rules and time wasn't on our side. Plus this is Iron Man's moment!

Q: Speaking about NYTF, it's a closed for general audience or bloggers…so I was thinking whether you will be blogging or posting photos / videos on Instagram?
A: I dunno about any rules, but we shall post and I'm sure the visitors to our booth will as well!

Q: Adventure Kartel Hotfoot has such an awesome and unique weapon. I was wondering if there was any thoughts on using the flame-thrower in other designs such as the previously mentioned Bertie MK2 or, say, a new Grunt?
A: I think so, I love the flamer!

Q: Would you consider doing a remote control for any figures with light up features? It's such a pain having to take down the figure, find the switch, put the figure back up and then reversing the procedure to turn it off. A universal remote that could be used on all figures would be handy and look cooler.
A: I shall ask the engineers !

Q: There have been a lot of images and posts going up around the internet about threeA producing a Helghast Hazmat Trooper from Killzone, places are even taking pre-orders for it, does this mean a licensing deal with SOE? If so will we see figures from other Sony lines like The Last of Us? Going back to Helghast again, is it retail only or will make it to Bambalandstore and are there other characters in the works?
A: Hazmat is a retail only figure we are making with Sony!

Q: When we might see the new Dropcloth for other colorways?
A: Soon as the samples are done!

Q: How many colorways you plan to offer TK Hunter in and do you have the names for them? Does all TK hunters use the same weapon(s)? Will we see any other weapon(s) being used for the Hunters?
A: As they are really big, they use their fists, feet, and grappling hooks! they need no other weapons. There will be a few a colorways!

Q: I can't wait for EVENFAL TOTEM 1/6 T.H.U.G suit! Are we going to see different colorways and Zero G versions?
A: Just one for now, the classic ORANGE

Q: You mentioned 1:1 bear head and showed bear claw during Kuma Pascha release? Are you still planning on releasing it?
A: YES, we changed it a little, the 1:1 bear head and bear suit will appear soon!

Q: Excited with the Marvel line! Will there be lines showing on the seamless rubber parts of Iron Man (you can see on the recent photos) and will Steath's chest and hands have red lights too or will it just be the eyes?
A: The connection lines will be as small as possible, but its very hard to make them 100% vanish! , only the eyes will be red on the Stealth!

Q: In recent releases of Adventures of Isobelle, both Beer Girls figures (Xmas and CNY ) were offered in transparent boxes. Will this be the new packaging for future Adventures of Isobelle ?
A: Nope, in fact new Pascha releases apart from BEER GIRLS, will be in illustrated boxes!

Q: I regularly keep an eye on Ask thread at threeA forum and see that various people are asking whether you would be interested to make this or that line of licensed figures and I am curious whether you find these questions interesting and what licenses you would love to pick and make eventually? Maybe Ashley Wood's Batman or Superman?

Q: Do you remember the first comic you ever read and would you like to flip through it now or perhaps you already have an art from it on your walls?
A: Donald Duck ( a reprint, cant remember the story ), won it in art contest age 5. left it behind afterwards, ran back to get it….

A: Not removable, why, because it make the aesthetics of the design change when accommodating the removable mask. Yes there will be a Bamba version, different in some way!

Q: Would LOVE to see your take on Batman and some of the darker DC Universe figures (swamp thing, zatanna, sandman, black orchid)…would you be interested in something like that?

Q: For your collaboration with Marvel you revealed few iconic characters, like Spiderman, Captain America, Doom and Ultron, but all of them is male, if you want and can make female character, who's the first on your mind? Storm, Psylocke, BW, or who?
A: We are making Black Widow and Ms Marvel. We are developing a new female body for these and upcoming female characters.

Q: In last Q&A session, you said that your first comic to read was Donald Duck comic, would you like to make your version of classic Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse Steamboat Willie? Classic is gold!
A: mmm, I dunno, I like Scrooge best, evil duck with the bucks!

Q: Do you have any estimated date in mind for when the first 1/12 2000AD figs might hit Bamba and what it might be?
A: Well we are working on 6 of them at the moment, its an ASAP thing for us and Rebellion!

Q: The 3A Parade line seems to be the umbrella for fashion figures/collaborations. Will we ever see releases from this line pop up on Bamba, especially two new figures shown at NYTF? Parade is our fashion line, but we have she other plans outside of 3A as well.
A: I think the two figures seen at NYC will be a March or April sale.

Q: Will EVENFALL see any human characters in toy form? Are there people who hunt Strigoi without THUG suits?
A: We will have the Thug pilot, a TOTEM agent male and female in the short term.

Q: Since you mentioned that the R/C girl TKYO is going to use the Queeny sculpt, will she be getting a staff-like weapon; like a mic with stand or some such ?
A: Not the same sculpt, same stock, as in genetic, Queeny is what would be considered an older TQ, not many TQ's make the age of Queeny, GIRL R/C is much younger, had her age! All new sculpt etc, she brandishes a Mic and quick witted verses as her weapon of choice. Or a snub nose blaster if that don't work!

Q: When we might see new Popbot and how he might look? VON5 maybe?
A: I want to do a new one, but have put it off so not to make it look like an annual event, its been a while since the first one, maybe the time is coming for a rework!

Q: Any estimated about WWRp MIM price?
A: Ill talk to Siu Yin about that Monday, ill get back to ya asap!

Q: Will The Beautiful War be available on Comixology? Or that's the question for IDW Publishing?
A: Well yea, I want it out there!

Q: Was amazed by 24" Pascha! What are the plans for the 24'' figures, is it just for shows or you plan to launch a new line?
A: 3A is going to launch a large range of female figs, 24", just to see what kinda of detail we can do, realism juxtaposed against stylized design. Going to be fun!

Q: When can we expect the first 3A Transformer fig to be released? Will they be modeled after the G1 characters?
A: I ask that myself, as they say, its complicated, they toys are very complicated but moving along, we have a few projects that are slow in the works and unannounced but will be worth the wait!

Q: Is the Mega Zomb slated to be released soon (after the Zomb MD)?
A: Just finalizing now, mid year I would say, maybe May!

Q: Great news on possible collaboration with Todd McFarlane on Spawn figs! Not sure how specific the details are around just creating characters from his Spawn property, but would love to see your take on the Creech, Poacher, Gravedigger, Mandarian Spawn and some of his Curse of Spawn characters (like Dessicator)! Any specifics you can share yet on this upcoming line like scale? I think many of your fans have been wanting this for a long time.
A: Well I have always wanted to make 1/6th Spawn toys, and at the start of 3A I talked to Toddy about it, Im glad the times has passed between now and then as 3A has grown in its tech and ability to give a series such as SPAWN the level that is needed. As anyone who knows me well, my time at TMP is important and special, and the chance to work with Todd again is exciting! More info soon!

Q: Will the new WBR MARS robot have a nemesis baddie to fight with? How soon will we see such a WBR evil bad bot if so.
A: I never said WBR were the good guys ?

Q: Can you give us an idea as to when the next TKLUB will come out, or even when this new chapter will wrap up - culminating with the bonus TQ? Thanks!
A: I know, give us the TQ yo!, well we have a new HEAVY SLIVER very soon, and some other options too, TKLUB will be picking up steam soon!

Q: We know there will be a EVOL version of Rothchild, are there EVOL versions of any other characters we already have in toy form as well? Any other characters undergo a visual change in EVOL?
A: Well some will see revisits, a Bramble in May is a EVOL version ( not that different but cool), there will be a new Earth Coalition peace keeper ( Grunt ) and so on.. Kinda excited to release Rothy soon, a cool fig I think!

Q: Have your kids ever came to you with character designs/ideas they wanted you to make into toys? Or are any of your existing or upcoming characters been inspired by an idea your kids came up with?
A: Hell yea, they say things, or throw ideas that mesh and make me think, OH YEA COOL!

Q: Have you ever considered grabbing the license for Indiana Jones 1/6th scale figures? Or that's not threeA / your thing?
A: Not my thing, I see INDY and think Fuck Han, whats with the hat, there are Greedo's to shoot!

Q: I dig the punkish look of UKTK. We already have Golden Doplhin and the question is: will 3A release more figures influenced by punk imagery? Also will there be a UKTQ?! That would be awesome!
A: Well Punk is important to me, on the level of the thinking behind it, DIY and shit, thats a major part of my ideal, also when I was a kid, and Punk was in its visual golden period, it was kinda scary, yet cool, alienating yet saying, join us, the world is wrong etc… Its fun to dip into that world, still looks good today! UKTQ is go! I think PUNK for me has always been a wink and nod that you are not alone, when you feel outside what the immediate surroundings offer! Go put on a Buzzcocks record, by some Docs, tartan skirts re timeless..

Q: With the announced next series of Nablers, is there an update on next Miss + Mrs book?
A: Update, Ash is working as hard as he can, really ( completely disregards health in this dept ), want to finish this more than anyone, very fond of the original book!

Q: When we might be seeing Archer TK or next 7Bones?
A: I want Archer first then another female 7bones!

Q: Any word on how limited is UKTK for Toycon and will there be Bambalandstore variant of him?
A: 50 for toy con, and there are some bamba version, all different, but at last you get a chance at a mohawk TK!

Q: Let's talk baddies! Without skeletor there's no he man, without mumra there's no liono, who is GiJoe without cobra? And to really drive this home, without vader, there NEVER would have been a Skywalker. So, TK hunter looks great! But we need more bad guys? What surprises do you have from the Dark side of Popbot?
A: Well its hard to answer without giving away the main plot of the TK, new we can make seamless female bodies I'm interested in a Mortis fig, I have some ideas there, the 13 shit heels are villains in a way, 5 bros etc. Remember Popbot isn't SW or GIJOE with a linear good vs bad storyline, its a story of a young man who loses himself, and needs to find his home. He is probably his own best villain and hero.

Q: Will we see a more general release Beer girl Isobelle at any point? Also, a cosplay Lizbeth.
A: Yea, more Beer Girl in March ( Pascha ) and we are also working on a Lizbeth + Pascha cosplay two pack!

Q: Did T.P. Louise write the Isobelle Pascha book? Your recent interview seemed to imply this.
A: Isobelle Pascha wrote it, we just published it.

Q: Will we for surely be seeing the Chief in different renditions throughout the years of him some time eventually in 1/6 scale? Also, would the Elites be doable with all the different joint articulations from a human?
A: We have an Elite.. We have a Chief..

Q: When you mentioned a Bramble in the Iron Panda super set, did you mean a 1/6 bramble with a mini-gun or rocket launcher? We need more Brambles with mini-guns.
A: I mean 1/6th

Q: Can you please tell us more about UKTK character, like his name, story and whether it's coming with EDO style hands?
A: Original hands, UKTK was deployed due the Manchester war bleeding out into the general UK, TK not only fight the MORTIS but are general peace keepers, especially DEVIL SOCKS!

Q: When Zomb MD might hit Bambalandstore?
A: Zomb MD and Female Zomb two pack is soon, not long and you can set up surgery!

Q: MGS REX been listed on some retail sites as the pre-order, is it re-release of MGS REX or they have their info wrong?
A: According to Kim we have some old stock and parts, the demand is there Im told due to RAY.

Q: How many pages are in Art of TK mook? Can't wait to get it in my mail and would love to hear more details!
A: It keeps growing originally it was 48 pages etc, much bigger now, Brent and me are moving to lock down asap!

Q: I stopped by at your NYTF booth and I must say that you had amazing displays and great team, and marking up the event with some vinyl boobs was freaking great! Thank you for that! What are your impressions of NYTF? Will you be returning next year?
A: Let me say this, NYC was great, 100% credit to the 3A team, I don't think enough is said about them, from Gimbys and Gregory for their hardwork in the back ground, to Brent for his design and Siu Yin who really was the gate keeper of the entire booth and the way it was put together and run! Anyway ill dry the tears from eyes and say NYC was a blast , we are what are and that was on display , its always fun to get our tits out too!

Q: How does N.O.M replenish it's ranks?
A: They actively search for new members that fit their cause! Like any organization! Granted most don't meet the minimum standard...

Q: Have you ever considered doing a Warhammer 40k line of toys or art? Have you ever played any board games in the past or do you still play any with your kids?
A: I think Warhammer would due great to make into 1/6th, fuck off crazy detailed figures etc, absolutely! I used to play trivial pursuit and monopoly a bit, good fun!

Q: As I understand 4th NOM is an anniversary style homage to original Nom de Plume, but is he also apart of WWR canon as the 4th disciple?
A: YUP, he just changed up his gear, same guy under that mask!

Q: You mentioned that the new Evol release coming soon is Rothchild, is he going to be a major departure from the clean cut Rothchild we had previously, like a beat up dirty bearded backpacker sort?
A: Well he is a departure but Rothy is still the same guy at heart, plus he cant seem to grow any facial hair! Actually the new Rothchild figure is a huge change for WWR, maybe it won't be that dramatic to most, but it is, and it opens a door previously shut firm in the world of WWR!

Q: Since the last couple years I have seen 3A grow substantial amount. How has the hatchery grown as well? I'm sure with so many releases and upcoming lines, there has to be many working hands producing our favorite toys.
A: The hatchery has grown the most I think over the years, I'm still in my bedroom on fold away table ( no shit ) but I kinda like that, guerrilla warfare style….. Its a growth of technology and skills too, not just work force. The future for toys is very different from now, with the advent of 3D printing and other less mainstream tech the possibilities and requirements of all toy/product makers will shift massively. It won't be good enough just to make stuff, you will have to make the best, with tech and features that push way beyond todays. This isn't just a situation for toys, but for many consumer products, its exciting, it will make us all strive and push beyond what we know! Which is in turn great for our audience, our supporters.

Q; Who have been the top 5 most influential people in your life, dead or alive? And how have they affected you to transform you into the person you are today?
A: It changes daily, where once I found inspirement, I see only failure and weakness now, so Ill have to wait and get back to on this list!

Q: For AK, do you have Public Opinion or The Spank on your radar for figures in 2014? I can't wait to learn more about these characters!
A: The SPANK yes, part of the Dolphin, Tommy Woo triad.

Q: It seems the web is buzzing with your Killzone figure with Sony. Are there plans for more Killzone figures?
A: Yup!

Q: After seeing Red Atonement or Palm in the face Sunday JC, is there any chance we'll see some more JC versions 'based' on biblical themes? Calming of the storm, cursing of the fig tree, cleansing of the temple, crown of thorns or transfiguration (GID?) could be tons of fun…
A: FIG TREE JC is must! JC will have many faces as AK continues!

Q: Any plans for Adventure Kartel 3AGO? A little 8" Zomb love would be tight (that's what she said).
A: Ha, well its like this, I want the 8" to feature heavily on new stuff, but it also brings up such must haves as TK and Deplume, and I have to say Zombi too. Best way forward will probably be a mix 70% new, 30% old. Time will tell, I thin kits fun to make 8" figs, hope the line can expand to rival the Mego lines of old!

Q: What's the story behind Red Atonement JC and Shadow Merde characters? And of course when we might see them up for sale? Will there be a prior notice?
A: Red JC is really SUPER PISSED OFF JC, when he goes beyond his sedate knee the evil state of mind, he basically turns red and beats the living crap outta anything that moves! Shadow Merde is the original of the shadow mode seen in AK, its like a virus, he was the first to get it and introduce it in to the family. Adventurers will adventure! Re selling, we never really know either, I think the best notice will be a new ad, once you see that, its close!

Q: Now that your making toys for Frederator, is there any chance they'll be making cartoons of your IP's? Perhaps an Adventure Kartel cartoon series on Cartoon Hangover?
A: Im happy with what I'm doing with Frederator for now, these toys are not easy throw stuff, want to make sure the energy is focused on them to make some special totems that fans of the show and the ideals of Frederator can enjoy!

Q: Any chance with the 24" Isobelle line on the way and the plan to sell the body once and the clothes afterwards that she could have removable, swappable hair pieces in different colours? Pack her with black, blond and red or whatever so we can mix and match her hair colour too?
A: Well this is how I intend to sell 2foot iso in May.. Iso will be sold separately with a basic set up of clothes and shoes, then you would buy the accessories/clothing packs and whatnot as you want them, Im going to launch with a separate Space Pascha pack ( like the sdcc 1/6th fig ) I would like to sell the ongoing heads separately to, and hands etc. Saying that each character will always get a full release like Lizbeth, Miyu etc, then the separate parts. Im hoping this size of action figure can lead to really nice details and inspire you guys to do your thing too and kit bash. Im not sure how this line will do, but I think its a fun and interesting experiment! We will also release a 24"TK experimental fig this year too, cant have big Iso getting lonely!

Q: You mentioned Farrah in Marquis 3AA set info, "time to replace Farrah!", who or what is Farrah? What is his/her/it connection with Marquis? Or was it a reference to the poster?
A: it was a ref to the 70s poster, nice catch.. maybe showing my age a bit.. actually I was all about the Barbarella film poster… mmmm

Q: Large Martin seems to be forgotten, so I want to know will we see another huge & bulky WWR bot, like Large Martin?
A: New version maybe, like with articulated fingers? And Oscar too, would love to see him made. I have not forgotten him, but we had many LM, I have a one more variation ill try and get too! Oscar would be fun too!

Q: In a previous Q&A you told us ON THE RUN TOMMY was coming this year, a Tommy in disguise. Will we also see who or what he is running from?
A: Running from everything, remember this kid is the king of emo! But as we know no one reads this stuff, ill tell you.. On the run with lil shadow ( note the name ), running from whom you ask, the DEAD ASTRO!

Q: Dead de Plume is GIDDY, is it going to be like Oppenheimer whit all the details, and color in the clothes?
A: Dirty GID in parts, but not all white etc, he is a character, has a reason to light colored he is cool, I think our direction with GID is better than just clean glory stuff, which is cool, but I think the WWR universe needs to show usage and age!

Q: Will we ever get a Hammerhead Bertie fitout as depicted in your painting "There" with duel engines. Is Hammerhead based on the MK3 frame with different loadout options, or a new model ie MK4?
A: I think that would be cool, I would say MK3 frame with mods, you guys need to push and remind too!

Q: Do you think we could have a warehouse sale on Bamba this year for anything that's in overstock? That would be awesome! Melting Bambalandstore server and all that…
A: Me and Siu have discussed that, but we don't hold much of anything, just for replacements, I know we have some stuff though… Il get back to you next week. Now if you can all get to West Australia, Ill sell my stuff at retail I have massed one the years

Q: I think most people can only pay with paypal. You know how it works, if you don't want to have extra charge, you need to have money on it. But they take about 6-10 days to transfer the money from your bank account. The problem is that the sales are usually announced around one week prior, is it possible to make it 10 or 11 days prior announcement, so everyone can transfer the money before?
A: Good point, as said before we such of this, but this is a good point, will try for 14 days from now on, and keep asking this question, don't let us off!

Q: If you are able to produce an iron on/sew on patch for the MIM set, any chance of seeing them for other WWR factions too? A: Well because its cool to get it in context to the set or toy, not just a box or bag of them. Its also a price thing, the sets can absorb cost, to sell separately or even bundled will make them pricey coz that shit aint cheap as they say! Im not a guy to say thats it, ill think on it, maybe try an experiment to see how they do without toys etc.

Q: Can you please share any intel on Sombre de Plume and is the cloth under Marquis de Plume helmet and mask supposed to be like a kevlar/bullet proof cloth? Like found on bomb specialists protective suits? Added protection for Marquis going up against the Fallens, wondering why you decided to not have it frayed or worn around the edges? And it being not ordinary cloth would explain that.
A: The Drape is a ballistic shield to a point, and it also separates their clan if you will from other deplume. NOM attribute much strength to imagery and the way perceptions alter, so each deplume and his circle like to have the differences, whether it be mask or clothing etc.

Q: When we might be seeing single Squares in EVOL or maybe a whole new set? Have you thought about Squares development at all?
A: Well as we developed a ton of mini square colorways lately for WWRp sets, the consensus was these are cool, lets make a 1/6th box set for Squares fans, so thats next, but the next Square is coming, it doesn't take much to imagine the logical EVOLution of him!

Q: Is there any chance that we will see the return of the mighty Bamba Boss? I really miss that guy and pretty sure that I am not the only one!
A: mm I love the boss, but I never feel there is much love him.. cue the awwwwwww audio, but I have a big ass JETPACK bamba vinyl nearly ready and want to make some more of the articulated one, mainly a time thing, maybe I should offer DIY articulated one, let you guys do your thing! Actually I want to offer a DIY of all our robots on bamba...

Q: You seem to be a very honest and open person about using adult imagery and language, so i`m curious do you have any censor policy for your kids or they have free access to your world? Thank you!
A: Well as a parent I make sure my children are only exposed to material they can handle, and as their parent I know what that is. I think the key to sexual imagery/any kind of hyper imagery or thinking is to make sure that there is an inherent maturity to understanding the real from the fantasy of what they are viewing. I don't believe in censorship, as it can lead to repression and control of our basic liberties , but I also do not want my children being exposed to hyper sexual or violent images until they can digest it in a mature way and not come to unrealistic and dangerous views of the world, which is simple as I give a shit and take time to care and talk to them about such stuff, I do not rely on the powers that be to handle it for me and bitch and moan when it goes pear shaped! Like anything, some simple logical thinking and care can negate most of life's tribulations!

Q: You are asked a lot of WWR questions, hope you aren't tired of them…but that's only because we do care about the story and would love to see more development and bots! My favorite is Jung de Plume, is he going through any significant changes in WWR EVOL and what is his story?
A: The NOM play a major part in EVOL, and I want to bring together and tie up much of the threads I have laid! I appreciate the questions and interest in the WWR, very flattering and the questions never get old!!

Q: After UK TK do you think it would be a possibility to create a US TK? Something along the lines of a WWII pilot, painted bomber jacket, cigar & guns…
A: mm well it has to be canon right, the Manchester war is Popbot lore, makes sense the TK are there, the US has another fate, or doesn't time lines are funny like that.!

Q: Do you like fast cars and racing in general? If yes, which brand you like most?
A: I do, but its the engineering I'm attracted too, not the speed, I'm crap at driving so thats probably why.. Im a BMW fan I think, M6 is a great car, the general finish is alway stood, and they look tough. I like AUDi for the finish too. If your listening BMW send me DIY car, ill paint it, really... WAVES TO BMW!!!!

Q: I know for a fact that you enjoy listening music and have very particular taste, are you picky about the sound quality? I mean, whether you listen your tunes everywhere you go or specifically on nice hi-fi system at home?
A: I like a warm deep sound, my parents HI-FI system from the 70's made me fall in love with that rich sound. I personally like listening to music in my car, blue-toothed from spottily on iPhone, not the greatest sound I'm sure, but the car makes it sound rich and have a depth that doesn't fizzle on the top end. Cmon one of lives greatest things is listening to music while driving!!!

Q: There had been talk about getting into making spaceships a while back. Is that still in the works and if so, in what context? Steampunk spaceships? Retro Rockets? I thought that would be a cool line to make.
A: I think any kind, I have the desire to make ships that I design, and also make ships from universes that I enjoy, I think its a great un-explored area for us.

Q: Will WWR Evol include the Newel 43 faction, or have they disbanded? Or perhaps Evolved into something new?
A: They are always there, good money in that part of the war, long as people are being named, there will be NEWEL!

Q: When War Nurse is released, she should come with a Medic patch. Do you agree and perhaps you can hint when she is coming?
A: Soon as she is ready, I think a patch is a must, she is a member of NEWEL!

Q: After seeing the fantastic new JC head sculpt, are there any other classic figs that will get an updated older look?
A: I think all will get a polish and tweak, as I refine my ideas and the story continues! Glad ya dug it!

Q: Can we please get some WWRp super and mega sets for other colorways (Gravedigger would be great for instance), freaking epic deal - offer em up as sketches, we never mind!
A: This is how Im gonna do it, I know you guys want different sets, so Ill offer them all( as in colorways), if enough support it gets made! easy! The fact that you guys buy off my mangy sketches is a great compliment, never fails to make me chuffed, I'm honored

A: TK's a TK. Be cool to release many different ones, but have to see what the response to the larger size is. I imagine this size will work great for the photographers.. Guess we will see!

Q: Can you please hint the colorway of Popbot Kozo? Is it red? Any update on Bamba version? Hoping hear to hear some good news soon.
A: All we give is good news, I guess a Bamba version of an Underverse explorer is needed, won't be KoZO, but a different character with similar gear!

Q: Whatever happened to the Stasia and Rouge feet? Were these made for a show? Any more news on these?
A: Made for me, I guess, have a quite a few more too now, will display here and there, or sell, never thought on it too hard!

Q: It was awesome to hear Nom 4th is the Nom de Plume in disciple gear, will we ever see him as Noir in disciple gear? Green lenses like the OG etc. ?
A: maybe..

Q: Why did the supreme choose a Plume to hunt the Fallens instead of a more fanatical Disciple? Is it a advantage to have a Plume hunt the fallen Plumes oppose to using a Disciple? Or is it Marquis is just the perfect man for the job? Known for his Legendary hunting skills or brutal nature to all Nom?
A: NOM have their reasons, but the Fallen actively move against the NOM, they are a direct threat to the Supreme NOM and her plans of trinity.

Q: How can Rothchild stand a chance when Nom's have the ability to take control of robots? We know that its a challenge for a Nom to take control of a Caesar and more often than not loose there life trying to do so but it can be done… will Rothchild ever develop a bot completely immune to the influence of nom?
A: Rothchild isn't a robot, hence he has a chance!

Q: Can you show us any box art for Dead Astronaut Gangsta? Would be great to see and help with the wait, thank you!
A: I had some on my blog a while back, let me get the office to dig op some photos of the boxes etc. they will ship soon, but as always we tweaked bits to make it better, delays suck, and we apologize, but its not coz we are lazy, but we are making stuff better!

Q: Do Gaistaz still have a role in WWR Evol, and will any of the GID Bertie Mk2.5's be Gaistaz aligned?
A: Yes, most of the same parties are there in some way, but as the name suggests, they have evolved whether in look, ideals or just plane changed sides etc.

Q: I was really hoping to see Zomb MD and Nursey soon, any chance of seeing preorders in April?
A: Thats the plan, we are trying some new techniques with Zomb MD, re clothing etc, might work, might not! Its a fun set!

Q: What's the story behind MiM squad? What's their target operation? Are they assembled for special mission?
A: They are a strike force, for the JEA Marine corp, say a beach head is making a landing difficult for the grunts, they send the MIM in to clear a path etc. MIM is larger than the set etc, thats the core standard load out, but a MIM force could consist of 5 Armstrong 1G only if the mission dictates. I think there should due a MIM Large Martin... what ya think?

Q: I really like the original Ghost Color Little Shadow (Beijing Gathering exclusive), do you have plans to make Ghost Color variant of LS2, right?
A: I hear that a lot, I think I can swing that, or maybe redo the set with new versions.. SUNDAY MORNING FUCKDOWN SET! yup, thats it..

Q: Talking about WWR supersets and Iron Panda which was the most popular set, would there be any difference in terms of layout for a African-Defense or a Warbot superset (if they will be ever made), as opposed to the Iron-Panda super set?
A: When you say layout, you mean load out as in what robots in the set. If so, yes I want to mix it up, have two of something, add in Brambes, Berties and LM etc.. Iron Panda soon, see you IP supporters are up for a challenge!

Q: Really excited for up coming releases of Marvel The Invincible Iron Man figures, and upcoming release of Dr. Doom. Have you thought of doing both stylized version of Marvel figures and traditional figures? Have you thought about 1/6 Rhino or Juggernaut in ether style. I'd love to have those two figures – I think your company would be the ones to do it right, as well as the 1st company to do it at all. And what about Doom bots? Need them too!
A: Well they are not stylized, but my versions, I guess you can see them as either or either depending on what side of the table your on… I love the Juggernaut, some of my favorite X-men are the one's with Juggy in them around the time JR JR was illustrating the comic so maybe, be a big ass toy too!! which is awesome!

Q: As far as i know, from movies, literature and history, war is hell and civilians are suffering governments are prick, how's the civilians in WWR ?
A: Well up to the EVOL storyline most were not effected directly, sure their children joined the War effort on Earth, robots deployed, walls put up, same old stuff, but actually seeing or being affected was still largely kept to a minimum. Much of what has happened has been unseen by the general populace. Most on Earth see a PR push against MARS, using left and right politics to tell different sides of varying tones to build up a fair view of Mars conflict, but the subtext was always, FUCK MARS< THEY HATE US, AND THINK WE ARE GOD FEARING MORONS! This constant barrage made many feel they were in the conflict personally, in the trenches with the bots. That being said, the EVOL period brought the war home, as countries tired of this began to back MARS and call for an end to hostilities, which lead to more traditional conflict on Earth. War isn't simple, just looks it, there isn't a way to win, just a way to lose less.

Q: I know it has been asked a bunch of times already. But just for good measure I'll ask as well, when exactly will the premade figures JC and Merde be for sale? I never was able to get JC yet so I'm really excited for this release. Especially now that I am part of 3AA.

Q: I understand exact release dates can’t be given but can you give a hint in which state of development WWR Bertie MK2 is?
A: Soon as I can, we are working on it, we had one, but it wasn't the right size, might use as a 2.5 one day , the transition between MK2 and MK3.

Q: With the release of WWRp NOM Field Commanders Berties and Graveyard Shift Bertie Mk2.1, does the design of the previously announced WWR Bertie MK2 have design cues of them, like the Stork Eye and Hinged Feet? Or it's WWRp Bertie MK2 look?
A: Its a little different, the larger size demands some changes, but the MK2 is the base model, I would like a stork eye version, or even the unseen FLAK Bertie!

Q: Will we see the old school and insanely awesome bulky revolver (30mm) of WWR Bertie MK1 and Bramble MK2 return with WWR Bertie MK2 or will we see different weapons?
A: Different, and just as bulky!

Q: In last Sunday Q&A you mentioned a Dual Engined Hammerhead Bertie MK3. Would these be a WWR or WWRp release and if this is WWR would such a release bring a WWR Damaged Bertie MK3.5 release any closer?
A: 1/6th is my thinking!

A: I don't see why not, female Commando would be cool!

Q: Can the Dirty Giddy Graveyard shift Bertie MK2.1s come with the all weather coats, just like WWRp NOM Field Commander ones?! Pretty please!
A: Well the Coats are NOM coats, they care for their bots a little more, the Stork eye doesn't have them by default… they are cool without them!

Q: Caesar type WWR preorder, Bertie mk2.1 some of them have the stork eye some dont depending on faction but all have new feet. Any chance of that happening? DIY could come with both stork and non stork heads etc.
A: Yup, I want to offer a few options for the 1/6th MK2, also working on ALBERT a Bertie EVOL variant in 1/6th.

Q: What's the transformation process to become N.O.M…Can anyone survive the gas that augments their abilities?
A: There is no process, they are NOM from the day they are born, they always find their way to Supreme mother. There they learn to use their natural gift more effectively.

Q: How Irimi TQ plans are coming along? She has the best looking TQ headsculpt and we need one at Bambalandstore. Thanks you!
A: May at the latest, she is on the schedule, we have an internal list of projects, but ultimately its just me and Siu chewing through it all, so sometimes stuff is held up a little!

Q: Will threeA make an SDCC appearance this year? Will you again be sharing space with IDW if so?
A: mm Im not sure, SDCC is fun, but I feel we need our own booth now ( not so easy to get it seems) I feel like the younger brother of IDW, kinda getting in the way of them and their date. Which is kinda cool but I also recognize the aggro that can bring. We will have some kinda of toy regardless selling somewhere, a TK is the target, ill bring this up Monday morning!

Q: Any chance we could/would ever see a wooden Square become available ? With the tech of today this seems like it could be a possibility without an insane manufacturing cost ( I might be totally wrong). A little laser engraving and a few wood stains,they could turn out quite nice. Hell, I would even take a oversized MK1 just painted like wood to be honest…
A: I like tree's more than squares… but I kinda like the idea of a large Vinyl MK1 painted in a faux wood style. I wonder how big we can make a MK1 without getting into crazy money...

Q: Have you considered doing more 1:1 scale stuff? A 1:1 De Plume mask and 1:1 TK sword or jacket would be killer.
A: I would love to make the Deplume 1:1 mask and helmet, I guess we are not set for that kinda of stuff, but yea, that on some kinda of stand, baller! Likewise for the TK jacket!

Q: Would you ever consider including interchangeable heads with different expressions for the 1/6th scale Adventure Kartel or World War robot figures? It would be cool to have different expressions for characters like Tommy or Shadow.
A: Be great to have heads that can change expression, Tommy doesn't change his expression much, only the MY NADS ARE AFLAME expression is an option, post Little shadow kicking!

Q: Do you have any updates, which you can share about new F-Legion Cyborg?
A: Working on some weapons for him, then we can drop, be great to make the whole F-Legion, the idea of war vet mercs never gets old, robot or hume!

Q: Please give us a clone of andy Warhol in 1/6 form, with all his packaging squares tagging along, that would be so great!
A: It would, I can make the Popbot version, as he isn't Andy Warhol, and like I said before there is a chance to make an official one too, its on the list!

Q: Do you have any news about EVOL AMMO DROP set? And speaking about accessory packs, what do you think about offering clothes packs for humanoid figs?
A: The bottom line on the AMMO RECHARGE pack, its there, but we are so stretched on the figures and waypoint toys that the smaller things kinda slip through. But its on the list, the load out is done, maybe ill spend a weekend and get it sorted!

Q: So I was wondering if you plan on releasing a figure with the new books coming out, because it would be awesome if we could get some sort of special figure released with the Adventure Kartel book.
A: Every AK is special, but hey I want the book to kinda be its own thing, we have a slew of new AK characters coming and they are all kinda special!

Q: Now that JC has most of his Upper body covered in tattoos, the logical next step should be his lower body. Will we see a JC with leg tattoos down the road? And will we see some extreme and funny versions of JC, like let's say Hobo JC with the shopping cart and "Repent, the end is nigh!" sign?
A: Funny, his shit is getting more serious, his war on Zomb MD and evil in general is just warming up, leg tats are next, glowing tats too, the story of JC and the AK is really just out of beta, I think the release of ZOMB MD kinda heralds in AK V.1. No hobo, fuck man, HE IS FIGHTING JC, he kicks the fuck outta hobo's for shits and giggles, lazy fucks he thinks they are!

Q: Actually not merely a question, but an answer for your question about Large Martin MiM, it's great to have MiM squad addition, please throw in MiM LM on sale, Damn Large Martin would be cool!

Q: What's the story behind graveyard shift Bertie MK2.1? Are they following Dead de plume? What's the target of Dead de plume and GS Bertie MK2.1? Are they rise to haunting other factions?
A: Graveyard shift Bertie is more a term, operating at and after midnight etc, the term Graveyard shift I think refers to working after midnight etc. If Im wrong about, meh it sounds cool anyway! Certain sides in the WWR enjoy the imagery and myth certain names and operating tactics conjure. Humans have always thrived on it, no different in the WWR universe!

Q: Will the Campbell Mighty Soup Square be a normal Bamba release? Or perhaps slightly different variant for Bamba please?
A: Actually, they were made for the Thailand Toy expo with two other epic Mighty squares. PYJAMA and LOGO PORN, but we also made some for Bamba as well of all 3, ill have more info on it and the availability soon. Kinda cool that it got some love, its a guilty pleasure to mess with such iconic art, Im a Warhol fan, big time.. but I guess you guys know that!

Q: In regards to SGRJC: what happened to his blind oracle head? The atonement version is being offered with a Zomb head - would this be the head of the oracle or a new head/oracle? Is there a story behind its absence? Also is there a chance us owners of SGR/PAF/DSGR could buy a Zomb head for our JCs? Maybe a tattooed head one? Thank you for considering!
A: The Oracle/Oracle's works for Zomb MD, not for JC. The head with RED JC is a Zomb, not an Oracle. We are gonna offer a Oracle pack, too small to sell separate! The shipping costs these days are nuts, so to offer the single head in limited numbers would cost around 10 bucks with limited packaging + shipping. I can speak with Siu on what can be done etc. but if it was simple as offering them at a reasonable price, I would put them up today! The new head will be used on a new Zomb, different colors and whatnot just an FYI. Lets me see what we can do!

Q: What is your main inspiration for the robot designs in the WWR Universe?
A: Me mostly, but a love for real military shit like tanks, canons,trains and other heavy machines. Of course thats too simple an answer, I'm sure on a meta level Star Wars with its grimy world of robots and used machines had a huge impact, Astro boy because the human robot interplay ( at least as a kid it seemed important ), and vintage Hammer films.

Q: Any chance we could see you at Sydney Supanova this year Ash? Getting my copy of ZvR signed by both Chris Ryall and You at the same Con would be fucking awesome!
A: That would be cool, at least you can get a real sig on the book, not that wispy Ryall thingy. If I can make it, I will be there, I want to hang with my IDW lads, do a panel, take the piss outta them. So maybe, fuck I should make a toy, 10 of them for a one day visit.. actually they shoulda demanded 3A have a booth there, right ????

Q: Could you elaborate a bit more on how and what future TK releases might be?
A: Well I have a ton of characters on the go, I just completed two new ones SLIP OYA and an UNDER SNIPER, which could have the largest gun ever made for any 1/6th, intact it has to be, and if it isn't ill add an inch!

Q: Can you share any progress on the development of Lasstralander? Always cool to see your drawings showing different variants and angles!
A: Banging away on it, vehicles are not my strong point, so I have to work harder at it!

Q: Will the rubber covered body be applied to the other female figure in the future? Who will be next to get on?
A: Well as I have said at the moment we have a the lower half covered, but we are working on a full body solution with the latest tech!

Q: Is the WF Armstrong still on track and going to be offered and would you be able to give us an estimate (or specific date) of when it will go on sale? While I'm at it, will we ever see another WF Grunt/Soldier?
A: The bloody sample is AWOL, I'm moving a load of stuff this cooling week and hope to find it, I want to offer it and a WF set asap, I know some of you want it!

Q: Future Mort news please? Mort is one of you classic characters, one that solidified my enjoyment of your art and stories. Not having a threeA ver of Les Mort is just… so, so sad. This year? Please?
A: I agree, he is on the list, and pretty far gone in the process, I really want to get him out, as he plays into the Dead Astro storyline which is the next soft toy release arc.

Q: Can you please share any estimated date (quarter of the year would be great) for HALO Master Chief release?
A: If all is approved Apri! Master Chief isn't a simple design nor did we want to just dash it out, totally worth the wait for Halo fans I think!

Q: Will we see Beer girls in March? Or they are pushed to the later date?
A: Well we kinda have sumin in for March, and you know you just gave me an idea to tie it in with the whole thing!!!!

Q: Aside from the Mr. Bridger hand puppet, will we ever see a full Devil figure (or any other super-spiritual figures like JC) and speaking of Mr. Bridger, how about a wearable 1/1 hand puppet?
A: I was once given a wonderful Bridger hand puppet, I agree there should be one! There are many devils in my worlds, all wearing sheep suits! The devil might be seen a soft option compared to them. Here is a funny ref for you to hunt, in a Hammer film called The Devil Rides Out, there is a scene near the end showing the what could be considered the devil sitting on a small hill thingy overlooking some worshipers etc, BUT the face on the devil is priceless, kinda smiling etc. Worth the hunt to see it. Actually its a cool film, might seem hokey by today standards but I could make it sing today! Someone give me 10mil for a remake!

Q: When will the 1/12 or 1/1 Labs go on sale?
A: Maybe Ill pack them in with the next 1/12th AK fig, or maybe a mini set like the big one, that large set still sits near the top for 3A releases for me, the figure to the box, just works for me!

Q: Speaking about different figures, characters and variants – are you moving creatively at the pace you want to?…Or are there things you wish you could finish so that you could move on to something new?
A: Always want to be better and faster, but Im feeling on the right path, which is nice, for me being an artist is having the ability to express and show what i do, I have that these days, a privilege to be sure! I don't think I move on from stuff, I evolve and push the initial idea further, its still sex and death, shoes and swords, raising one' head where the suckers duck. Faster, better, honest and cast a deep shadow.

Q: You dedicated the first Evenfall release to the GREAT Carl Sagan. What part of Sagan's Life / Work is most influential to you and your body of work and or life?
A: Everything, a great man there, smart, funny, and kept it real, showed that the real magic, the meta, the profane happens everyday, every second close to us and light years away, that kind of insight elevates and informs.

Q: Do you think that anything what humans do can be called an art? I keep noticing that nowadays people tend to overuse word art and artsy, and use it regarding making porn or carving pumpkins. Or art is in the eye of beholder, just like beauty?
A: Well there is an art to most things, if art pertains to a specific technique or skill that elevates ones position above the average. I think calling it an art, as opposed to art is different, and basically a contextual line. Or what is art? Mostly a load of old wank sold to us as being special yet it falls flat when viewed or experienced without a doctorate or gallery expert to fluff the art erection. I see more art in porn these days than I see in many galleries, I can say that, coz I can. That's the art debate right there. Old wank, at least with porn you can wank. Severed animal parts covered in a childish drawings showing a day at the circus, to counter the brutality in infinite failure of the human spirit is just wank, or is it? Art is great, it causes debate and conversation, both such moments can introduce you to a new person or situation that you might have missed out on. If said Animal parts with drawings covering them never existed, there would be no need for debate, and that's a bad thing! I personally never say, "Hey honey, I just made some art yo", I might say, "hey honey I just painted a nude sitting on a robot's head", which I'll hear, "AGAIN!" from TP!!! Which leads to the conversation, nude on a robot's head, or humanity sitting on God's shoulder?... C'mon that at least sounds good.. or a load of ol wank, or art, or...

Q: Who are the 13 Shitheels? Can we get a little more information on their characters individually? Are they bots, lopers, er something different altogether?
A: You will find out one by one, some are robots, some are kinda not!

Q: My friends and I are planning to go to the upcoming Thailand Toy Expo mainly for threeA. Will there be more events exclusives other than the Squares? Thanks!
A: Yup, there is a brand new TK called THIDDY and a Pascha, representing THAILAND YO!

Q: Are the majority of releases coming out of the Evenfall line going to be centered around aliens/monsters and robots?
A: And human characters

Q: If JC turns red when he is angry, what color does he turn when he's embarrassed? In this last Q&A you said that JC kicks the shit out of Hobos, but what ever happened to He does not love you, but he will save you anyway… ?
A: Except hobos ! and JC never gets embarrassed!

Q: Is there any chance of doing a WH40K collaboration, I mean with their strict licensing? It would be huge to be able to get a 1/6 threeA Space Wolf...or a DIY marine! I only have two loves in this world threeA and WH40K…oh and I guess my family too.
A: I asked them, tell them they should! 40K is great!

Q: The WWR squares have a big following. Might we see a MK 3 Square at some point? Maybe a stealth version, one able to move very fast or amphibious version etc.
A: SQUARE4 is coming soon!

Q: Will we see Girl R/C in 24" line?
A: Not for now, she would have to be 20" tall as well!

Q: Could we ever see a line or a figure that is a mix of say Game of Thrones meets Popbot ? Like the mix of sorcery and steel - like robots infected with/by magic ? There are bits of that kinda stuff in WWR and what not,maybe looking for a more overt version of the concept..maybe more is to come that we don't know…yet.
A: I have a story set in a fantasy type world, want to get it all down and designed asap!

Q: Who will be the next TK released under "Classic" label and when?
A: A new Heavy TK!

Q: Will we ever see "3A clothing sets" released for 1/6 figures? example - when you choose your character for certain video games, they might have an alternate outfits/clothes on to play as. Something similar, like some new threads and outfits that can be purchased to make alternate looks to your 3A characters, old and new ones, but without having to develop and promote a whole new set in order to do it. I am not saying do away "Shadow/Soy" modes, or "Cold" modes versions, but more along the lines of offering us a different look and display options via different clothes. You mentioned that you are into fashion so I think this could be a fun way for us to enjoy the styles on his characters even more!
A: Well the characters are who they are, and are dressed as they should be, at least when released by me!

Q: Will there be anymore TK Shoguns?
A: TQ SHOGUN AND SHOGUN+

Q: Well it is no secret that my favorite character is AK Johan. I was wondering if we might ever get another version of him?
A: Ha, he is awesome, and being little Shadows personal trainer and sometime bodyguard I think he should get a another release!

Q: Can you give us an idea of how many new AK characters are coming this year? I know plans change but can you give us a rough estimate? I'm ready to start taking advantage of my 3AA membership!
A: 6 minimum, we got new F-legion, Handsome Wu, Zomb Md + nurse, 10" Little Shadow, Big Shadow, On the Run Tommy, Future Mort, and the very soon Mega Zomb mmm more than 6! and there are more!

Q: With the advancement in your GID process( doing Giddy and dirty GID) is there any room or chance a'crystal/glass/ice figure would ever be produced by threeA?
A: We can but then you see the joints, we have experimented with this… I guess we will see !

Q: What material is used to make the shoe for Parade April + Shoe release (especially crystal - clear one)? Is it crystal plastic?
A: No its a special resin, looks great, but hard to control hence the limited nature!

Q: Speaking about Parade is it still 3A Parade or it's now called simply "Parade" and second question, are Garland + Faust coming to Bamba in April as well
A: Because its a imprint label called PARADE, owned by threeA but marketed under simple Parade, April is Parade month at Bamba!

Q: I have a question about Miyu Race Queen, is she WWR or it's World of Isobelle Pascha Universe? I mean she is coming with beer bottle like beer girls and with Square (which are WWR), I am confused
A: The race girls transcend the universal walls, and why not! Regarding the Square, as they were the race girls for the Square Race it only made sense they get a little Square!

Q: Can you tell us please what the initials on the UKTK punk box stand for?
A: huh ?

Q: Ash, why retire the MK1 Square? Everyone loves them and wants more. You've changed your mind and backtracked before, what would it take to keep the MK1s alive? Lists? Polls? Whatever just let us know how and the Legion will show the support.
A: Well the best thing about owning your own shit is you can change ya mind, but I think for the future Mk1 is retired, at least at 1/6th! but saying that, the Legion is always listened too!

Q: Is there any way we could get the original Bertie MK2 and MK1 Square in WWRp Gaistaz? One set I'd dearly love to own that was never released, a last farewell to the original MK2 and MK1?
A: ill put it on the list!

Q: So it's been a long time since we've heard anything about the Solid Gold Deathmask line, are threeA still likely to be doing figures for it?
A: Thats a Rufus question, and Im sure it will happen one day, the door is always open for Ruffy!

Q: Any progress on the witches of AK? Are we gonna see Tommy's Mother or some of her coven in toy form?
A: Totally! I love a good witch!

Q: Any chance of having a grunt army pack a la Harold sale. I would love to have a proper flesh army with my bots! Maybe for the next Grunt wave?
A: 1/6th right ? Well the WFP and IRON PAND STRIKE sets will have a Grunt 1.5 in them, no reason we cant offer that in other colorways!

Q: We know Jung is Kuan ti Plume's apprentice… so does Kuan hang in the jungle then? If so will we see a camo Fallen Hunter?
A: There is Deplume coming that is a Jungle hunter…

Q: Can you please give us some idea how WWR EVOL Square might look like?
A: Like a Square, but EVOLved.. its nifty, its always hard up against the classic one right, but I try! Has a fun feature, a little of this, some of that, all square, all ash!

Q: Any possibility to see NOM Commanders again in Gebi or maybe sand devil 666 color way? Our Sand Devil bot squads are already out of control. Need immediate back up.
A: We have been playing with their coats, different material and designs, we have a Dirty GID set and I agree a 666 Commander sets would be cool. 2014 will see much WWR, the 1/6th MK2 Bertie and ALBERTO are looking great, ROTHCHILD EVOL this month!

Q: Since MK1 Square 1/6 will never be offered again after 31st March, what happens to 1/12th MK1 squares? Will we see the set? If you decide to stop the MK1 forever, at least please give some love for WWRp squares in the futures too, 1/12 lovers need Square set too, maybe you can use pure color Square from Taiwan show, and give them decals/insignia?
A: I want that set too, 1/12th isn't being retired just yet! I guess I ll say it here, we are making a large MK1 Square, doesn't fit any general ratio of size, but its fun!

Q: Can we get some details in April on the new Spawn line? And maybe around when the first release is planned for? Hopefully sometime this year! (Crossed fingers)
A: Well we are working on a 1/6th Spawn, I have designed a fig and its at sculpt now,but this is Toddy's baby and will work with him to make as great as we can. But I say this, 2014 is the target for the first release!!!

Q In last weeks Q&A you mentioned that "you like trees more than squares" when someone asked about making wooden squares. A few years ago there was a line of vinyl toys called mighty muggs (maybe your familiar with them) they were "made from 100% recycled awesome". I've bought hundreds of figs over the years, probably 90% of all that was/is plastic of some sort, so ive got a little guilt over it. Have you considered making your figures out of something similar to lessen the impact? And my guilt?… to be honest, if it meant prices were to go up, Id happily cop it on the chin…

A: Maybe the new 1/6th Bertie

Q: What's a WWR colorway/faction that you're absolutely done with? That we'll never see a return to?
A: mmmm, I don't think any, they are all part of the family of WWR… Im going to re jig and change up many, but none are 100% gone!

Q: Any new 1:1 items in development? Or perhaps what's the next Ashley Wood collection release might be? I'm still upset here about missing the 1:1 Kowloon leg!
A: Don't be upset, we have some other 1:1 legs coming soon, not GID but cool! we have some 1:1 AK busts, more feet etc

Q: In the latest Q&A you mentioned that the 1/12 Labs might come with the next 1/12 AK figure. Does that mean there will be a Bamba 1/12 AK figure soon?
A: yup

Q: Will the Bambaland version of TK Kozo be a 3AA exclusive or available for all?
A: mmm maybe all as TKLUB has its line up now!

Q: Whats the craziest and most insane 3AA exclusive or surprise release you have in your head for this year?
A: We shall see, a lot of the best stuff is adhoc, just spur of the moment, hey thats a cool idea shit! We really are quite bad at planning ahead!

Q: You had mentioned not being so sure about doing more Bertie Mk. 3.5's – what about doing something like you've been talking about for supersets? Put 'em up for order, and if enough don't sell, they don't go. Or hell, put some in supersets please!
A: Well we have some Supersets combos and options in May, ill use that to gauge the interest!

Q: Will the Bramble in The Iron Panda super set have a Gatling gun or a rocket launcher? We need more 1/6 Gatling guns for robots. Another question I have: are the upcoming super sets going to feature Evol versions of the robots or regular versions?
A: Gatling!

Q: What is a FLAK Bertie you mentioned recently? What does it look like?
A: Flak cannon etc, attached to his head basically…

Q: Would you be interested in making diecast figs one day?
A: yup, but thats an extremely expensive option, but a metal MK2 really makes me smile!

Q: You have great series of nudes paintings and drawings which study and expose female sexuality, what part in female body inspires you the most? Legs, breasts, neckline, cleavage? When you starting to work on the nude painting, what part of the body you draw first?
A: Its a combo, the female form, the nude in general is a fascinating landscape. I love it all, truly a lives work is needed just to scratch the surface of possibilities when portraying!
