Saturday, supposedly for me.

Received my Brambs today. I'm pretty stoked, but I'm a little concerned with some photos posted by another collector. Some of the paint and weathering work looks horrendous. Will open mine soon.

Holy shit!!! Just had a look at some pics on Facebook and I'd say being a little concerned is an understatement zbrushman! It looks like 3a just said fuck it, we've run out of black paint and sponges give me that sharpie and I'll add the final touches! I mean what are those dots on the feet all about? I've been so excited for this figure to arrive and for it to get the worst weathering treatment I've seen in a long time is just a kick in the face to all of us that supported 3a when buying this guy! I know they didn't sell many and probably took a loss but that's no excuse! I'd rather it have been canceled and get my money back then for this beautiful bot to be finished off like that! Sorry! I love you 3A, but WTF?

Yeah we need some pics here! It'll take weeks for mine to arrive and I've been looking forward to this guy ever since I saw the first image. I'm also so glad I didn't hold out for another Bramble like the marine that would be coming "soon".

I didnt get to pick mine up today, delay on notice being left in my po box until after they closed Dutch door service... damn them.

I dont have the Facebook, so I cant see these pic I guess... how bad are they? Youd think as long as it took for this thing to get shipped it be a homerun?!

I really wanted to preorder this but it was at the time when Ash’s Paris show was on the horizon so decided to save the cash for that.

After the show was cancelled I was gutted that both had slipped through my grasp.

I hope that this one is an exception rather than representative of the entire run for the sake of those who have one on the way.

The photos begin to be published. It seems that the "default" also appear on this one ... for the "weathering" the old model is better realized, just my opinion  ....

The weathering certainly isn't what it used to be. I'm still holding out hope and will wait until I have mine in hand before I make any judgement.

Yeah, opened mine up and the paint and weathering work is the same. Those magic marker spots are just plain ridiculous and the top part of my Brambs is slightly sunken in. Unless 3A decides to rectify the situation or offer replacements (which I highly doubt due to the expense involved), I'll be keeping mine. Although the weathering and paint work is not like it used to be, I expected less quality with this final release. 3A is not prioritizing Ash's stuff anymore and well, we can see the results of that with the Brambs. A beautifully weathered and detailed robot with all the bells and whistles of yesteryear would have been appropriate. For me the weathering and paint application is not superior, but fairly good on most areas; in other areas, the use of a magic marker or some sort of tinted wash is spectacularly bad. Some areas are untouched and clean!

Again, the bot is a beast and I like it. I always wanted a 1/6th scale Brambs, so I couldn't pass this up when offered. If only 3A would have taken the time to reach into the past and create a truly epic piece.

For a $320 figure I was expecting what we paid for in the promo pics! And what we got is just like Ash said, unacceptable imo! I want to be able to proudly display this guy but I just can't look at him like this! Looks like a child got to him with a sharpie! I hope CS does the right thing and helps us out!

I absolutely agree! If 3A will offer replacements (again highly unlikely), or at least a partial refund to make amends, that would be acceptable. Here's to hoping Ashley Wood puts his foot down and demands 3A rectify this immediately.
