Re: UV | Pocket Universe General Toy Discussion
Looks nice, would love to be able to afford to collect in different scales but i need to just stay with one:sixth. Very cool though.

WWR... With Ashley Wood, worlds collide???
I just wonder how well sales are going in general and also specifically with these pocket figures? I mean are folks really into these limited articulation figures with the plethora of other action figures out there with better articulation? I mean, yes I know there are other companies producing limited articulated figures. I'm just curious if the demand is high?
Anyway, I guess I'll just watch from the sidelines to see what comes in the future...

I guess the demand is low… production prices go up and demand down. If will take a while until we see some of the more pricey stuff like 1/12 and 1/6 bots. And even for the „more simple“ stuff it takes forever… three years for 1/6 tk? Hard to fullfill the expectations of hardcore collectors that waited so long. The products are good but the game changed! Hopefully they adjust to this ne game and we will see many more releases.

Anyway
A hair and a bit taller than the 1/12th scale WWRp Armstrongs released exactly 12 years ago on Bambaland (I miss Bamabaland)
Pretty thrilled about this release since the 1/12th Armstrongs are my favourite WWRp robots.
Pocket Universe | WWR Armstrong 1G MK5
8" (approx 200mm) high
pre-orders open on April 29th
price not yet announced.

Re: UV | Pocket Universe General Toy Discussion
Armstrong preorder will be delayed until further notice. Bumped into an unexpected issue with the factory who were planned to do the manufacturing

Oh shit! Fingers crossed all my other pre orders are in safe hands
Re: UV | Pocket Universe General Toy Discussion
Dang, I am looking forward to this one. I wasn't going to collect this scale but I preordered a few from bbts. Probably do the same with this. Orange all the way.

All of your preorders are fine and are unaffected
The factory we were gonna use gave us an outrageous cost quote, so we're gonna take the Armstrong to a different factory. Will just take time to vet new factories for future production

A bit off topic but,
any idea when we can except various pre-orders to ship?
Super curious how various production pieces turned out.

Re: UV | Pocket Universe General Toy Discussion
So 180 usd for the new bots… can’t imagine what prices will like for bigger scales.

UV's WWR2 Square Mk5 did US$140 including shipping.ArtWar wrote:So 180 usd for the new bots… can’t imagine what prices will like for bigger scales.
So US$180 for a 8 inch (20cm) high robot isn't that chocking imo.
First Bertie the Pipebombs were US$330 including shipping
That makes this one is still cheaper per inch.
Would be fun though, if Underverse was able to actually produce an 1/6th robot in the price range of the original 2008 Bertie
however I assume that a toy like that will be pretty hard to sell these days.
Tons of articulation on this Armstrong.

Re: UV | Pocket Universe General Toy Discussion
Hard to pick. But I will be doing custom gunmetal and chromes on the DIY brambles. I went with Frost Armstrong for now. That price limits me but wonder if this is the last of the line for WWR pockets?
