Re: Bertie MK2
I've had pretty consistent joints on both of mine. Hoping #3 holds up just as well....and then 4, 5...maybe some others.

Hoping all future Bertie's are the 1/6 variety- as the scale is fucking perfect for these babies...hoping to also get word of when #4 will hit da sto' or perhaps when the first if other factions become available...also- there needs to be a 666th Bertie - McQueen and chad need a lil brotha!

My mind races when I think of all the great possibilities for these. I would LOVE a Brom to round out the pink squad, Mod would look amazing as well.

Yussss bubs. On the mark there (with black bags)
1/6 scale is just so proper on these,... the only other scale I could consider would be 1/3.

I'd do an mk2 at 24"! Could probably only swing one so it would have to be one hell of a colorway!

Re: Bertie MK2
Yeah- a 1/3 Bertie would be as awesome as it would be costly...I would surely have to have at least one- would probably sell my a lot of my collection to have it...

Re: Bertie MK2
This is a perfect time to use the classic ThreeA/WWR colorways- there are plenty of factions that never saw a Bertie mk2 that would be enriched by the addition of a 1/6 version- IP,666th,Deimos Lib,WF,Brom- all have a selection of 1/6 bots and would be wanted by crew builders everywhere, not to mention 1/6 versions of the original assortment...

Re: Bertie MK2
I'd like a big multi drop like Mightys, Harolds and Caesars although I would like to see Deeds as a separate sale, not part of the multi. I have 3 Deeds on the way and would like a few more but I'd also love some older factions like Desert, Jea etc.

Finally got around to popping open DD#2 Fantastic!
Seems a little glossier and darker than #1 when looking at them side by side.
Makes me a little nervous proceeding forward with the dozen

I'm super torn between wanting to see OG bots (EMGY / Hatchery Guard would be lovely since they're so rare / Medic) and new berties for old colourways that never had them... No reason not to do both though, I suppose!

Re: Bertie MK2
QC on my DD 2 is perfect. good times. wish weapons were abit bigger but other than that very happy. my WWR boner was at attention. blood spattered with hand print would have been so great.
im sure i will get hate for this but im good on needing anymore berties i think. i love my new DD but its like the 10th bertie figure i have gotten.

All I want is my Medic Bertie and of course my gatling JEA Bertie. I'm excited for the Civic Defense Mk2s to arrive, my CD squad is fantastic!

Re: Bertie MK2
I think it is interesting how many people love WWR, but yet how differently.
I've ended up with zero interest in the Civic colorways entirely. I also have divested myself of all WWRp toys. I once had an army of the things in every colorway, including some of the really rare ones. But once I sold off a few, I ended up going all in (or out), and opting to stick with a handful of 1/6 figures.
I got into 3A because I wanted a Nom and Deep Powder Bramble to go with my H2W pegleg Desert Bertie, and because the designs were AW art given dimensional form. It was that first 1/6 Bertie with his articulated fingers, and his silly pegs straight out of an AW painting that brought me in. The story snippets and fragments in the original book gave me more to chew on and I started to branch out. Plus, in the absence of more 1/6 WWR bots, I filled the desire by grabbing other stuff. Primarily the WWRp gear.
One thing I did gain form having all those WWRp Berties (etc) was a love of the layered grit and grime, drips and scraped metal from those gorgeous 3A paint jobs. Really reminded me of the texture in Ash's original art, which is really where it all started for me.
But now that I've left go of 1/12 scale, it has freed up a LOT of space. Space I plan to keep open except for a few select bots. Leave myself room to grow. After like 8 years of this, I realize it's not a rance, and I don't need a massive collection to be happy. I don't have an urgent need to fill space.
I'm hopeful the rest of the DD crew gets made, though optimistically skeptical for now. I'll be thrilled when the 3rd arrives. At least it will feel like a genuine group together. If the other 9 happen, I'll do them all, because... the magnificence of all 12 at that scale.
Beyond that... for Berties, I might go for a Medic, Emg, IPanda, or other old colorway. Something that carries over the feel from Ash's WWR art. But not 100% certain. I'm curious to see what other concepts arise over time. I didn't buy any of the last 2 rounds of squares. Or the bird cage thingy. Waiting on what else speaks to me I guess.
As with art collecting, I've switched from buying what i like to only buying what I love and MUST have or else. Because otherwise I'll have nowhere to put it all. Amazing how prolific 3A is, and the breadth and depth of choice they have given collectors. Now if they keep the QC to the level of the 1/6 DD Berties so far, I think there will be a LOT of happy campers coming up.

I haven't sold off anything yet since it all still fits for the most part but I have to agree that I'm getting a lot more selective on what I pick up, now.
