I keep forgetting about Barquest, I have him in 1/12 & would love a 1/6 also NOM27. The list could go on and on. But I never liked Supreme, kinda crossed too much into the Pascha world for my liking.

I like gasmasks and boobs! . (buT noT the gigantic 3A titten ((tits)) ...Small or medium for me...like fiona from shameless U.S. Just bought season 1&2 for binge watch fun.. )
Barg and 27 are my favorite NOM designs and the first 3A figures i noticed back in the days and instantly bought in the evilbay...can`t go wrong with NOM!

Totally agree about NOM 27. Took these photos in December 2012 just after it arrived and I'd done some tweaks.

Oh hell yes. Looks awesome. I can't wait to have him standing between my Commanders.
Re: 3AA 2016 Discussion
Don't care for the faux leather coat. Should have gone with cloth.
But I'm in. Dems be a lot o' hoses. And interchangable fist hand? Cool. Wonder what the back tank looks like?

Haha, Grish. I'm thinking long term that coat will disintegrate. That's why I've never like faux leather clothing. Boots are good though.

Re: 3AA 2016 Discussion
I'm feeling the coat, and if it peels and cracks later on well that's just more weathering, right?
Re: 3AA 2016 Discussion
Good point, IronChap. Never thought of it that way. We'll see once in hand or I'll probably go for a more minimal look and just remove it.

Von looks great! Another fantastic NOM design. Good thing too, because he's the only reason I'm signing on for 3AA this year...

loving that leg holster with the broomhandle gun. Love that gun just hate the real life problems it has (Jams easily, the damn bullets seem to get caught in the slide if the bullet doesn't cycle the chamber all the way. Maybe I'm confusing it with the luger)

I'm sure the hoses are made out of rubber just like Marquis/Sombre/Dead de Plume which are similar and wrap around the back.

Re: 3AA 2016 Discussion
I'm just going to copypaste my comment from the Von thread because I'm lazy.
I like him... HOWEVER!...
It feels like one of countless generic mainstream steampunk movie troopers, instead of a truly unique mysterious character from WWR, as it lacks some of Ash's trademark gritty aesthetic.
Too clean in execution, to mainstream in design.
...
I'll try to elaborate a bit, try to put my finger on what exactly I feel is lacking.
A few pages back, Barguest was praised (by geisT) as "pure OG greatness". I agree, even though I don't own Barguest, you can see how even though he's very simple in design, he's very evocative of the whole WWR vibe and aesthetic. Paint and weathering have a lot to do with it, but also the hose...
I think it's because he has a long thick hose. Yes, it sounds dirty and maybe that's the way Ash intended it all along. He's just incorporating his phallic fetish in less subtle ways now (JJ McKee dildo thingy), but other WWR characters ranging from bots to Supreme Nom have had a degree of phallic elements going on in their design.
One big long thick hose instead of many short ones. Even NOM4th worked well with several thinner hoses, but still very long hanging on front like a biomechanical Cthulhu beard.
It gave these characters a "weird", unsettling appearance. Not very practical in battle, i guess, having cumbersome hoses hanging from your face and a heavy gas box clipped to the side of your belt. But NOM are so badass that they don't mind, they don't need comfort or practicality. They just strap on a mask and a gas box and go fight.
This guy, Von, though visually cool, feels more "normal". Like we've seen him before in X or Y movie or video game. And Ash has always given us characters unlike anything we've seen before, even if they seem unsettling, and even if they are simple in design. The trick is done by (usually) one single element placed where you would never have expected it (like the gas tank between Supreme's legs).
This guy looks cool, but all his elements feel kinda expected, if you've seen enough apocalyptic / steampunk / SciFi movies or shows or games.
BUT he's cool, and as many 3A figures he probably will grow on me, and I need the 15% when those 3AGO Berties and Squares go up.
And I could always use another JJ McGee thingy as I'm sure Ash will include a noir version with this pack

Re: 3AA 2016 Discussion
I really diggin the VON design, as he has the vibe of "evolved" Nom Commanders and will surely match with Marquis/Sombre as these have a similar vibe to me!
Personally, the OG NOMS and Commanders have some WWR 1 and 2 aesthetic (AW style of course), then the Grunts had some "modern warfare" style, and the NOMs from 4th (27, Marquis etc) Nom on, went into a more retro-futuristic style which i also love....so the old OG`s became a more older or ancient NOM leadeship feel to me, through the evolution of newer Noms...
As speaking of Barguest, the most impressive is the facecloth, a simple addition to the OGs NOMs ..(imho boring but iconic) .boring, but changed the whole look/vibe of the figure (i loved to play with the mask and put a smile or sad/evil "mouth" expression into it, like DC`s Scarecrow or Watchmen`s Rorschach) and it gives him a super spooky vibe...
But speaking of Von...to me it lacks some dirt on the coat, but it will surely be fixed when the production starts and the 4 different hands are also a nice and unexpected bonus! (same with the grenades and cool holster)
For 180$ we get alot of fabric with Von, as the coat alone surely adds some $ to the production costs, and i would be fine with a single figure in a small box!
(... no need for a huuuuge box like Blanc Hunter...just too big to storage)
Okay, a cool AA shirt, comic or a Von print would be always great..

Yep, thanks zzzzz he looks great.
It was a definite buy because it's 3AA 2016 but seeing all this makes it a definite buy if it was a regular release as well.
