3AA 2017 Discussion

You have to take into account what these would cost on their own. I'm guessing $75 shipped. Now for two they would subtract a bit for the package so lets say $135. Add the card +$10, fancier packaging +$10, and of course the Discount +$30. Now if there is a shirt or something, it could be about $200 total. It's all hypothetical, but if these were sold outside of the membership, they would be $130-$150. Membership packs have historically cost more, so I don't think you will see a cheaper price.

Totally agree.  The EVOL Squares were $80 each, and that was two years ago.  With the way ThreeA's prices have been climbing, I'm hoping for a best-case scenario of $180 pre-discount - same as last year.

I would love $150. Settle for $180. My gut tells me it will be $220

180 Range seems normal to me on this one. I always appreciate a smaller package..but not sure how they can accommodate these.

The blog says $180 for 2 squares, history of the square book & card.
Nothing extra for 3aa, then again it looks like 3a might have abandoned the whole 3aa exclusives anyway.
I'm not sure yet, I guess I was either hoping for more stuff in the set or a price reduction. When you break it down, the book will probably be just a paper back catalogue and the card won't cost a lot either so basically squares work out at $90 each.

Almost as cheap as the first 3AA, which contained a WWRp Bramble Mk2, T-shirt and membership card and 15% discount.
(Relatively of course since the US$ is fucking expensive for the almost 7 bilion people not living in the USA)

Anyway.
Exactly the price I expected and hoped for.
This will put the Squares in the price range of the 2 year old Rothchild / Cordoza TF001 4Square.

Price seems reasonable for membership, but when you're not too much of a square fan, well...I'm still on the fence. I guess I'll decide on membership day. I wish we'd get a roster of what would be sold in 2017.

I dont think it's possible to get a roster of future products, things that are on schedule end up not being on schedule for all kinds of reasons..but it would be good to know what it coming month to month...or something like "here are the next 3 items that will be on sale" type of thing.

Well pretty sure its what that doesnt got a release from the last year roster. hehe

So much is in development at any given time, it is not very realistic to even say "here are the next 3 items that will be on sale" - any 3 of X amount have the potential to be the "next" items... as soon as something's ready, the promo materials are made and it's announced, it's not like items are sitting around collecting dust waiting for specific planets to align

Happy to hear there's no increase from last year's price.  I'm totally in.  Buying for the Squares, not the discount, as there is nothing on the horizon I'm aware of that interests me.  Glad to have the discount just the same, in case something I want does appear this year.

I can understand the disappointment from those who aren't into Squares.  I had no interest in the 3AGO membership from a couple of years ago, but renewed that time just for the discount.  Given how little I've bought over the last couple of years, I wouldn't do that again.  But just as in previous years, you can always buy for the discount and sell off the figures if you don't want them.  I doubt you'd be stuck with them for long.

Also hoping this won't be the one and only appearance of the Attila Square.  I'd love to see some traditional WWR colorways (JEA, Dutch Merc, etc.) down the road.
