Would be nice to get a partial refund, or better yet, a non-defective Fang Gal.

Wow that is ridiculous. I mean that is an obvious flaw. I wonder, can the vinyl be heated and the legs be repositioned so that she can stand or is this just a lost cause.

Mine was to arrive yesterday, but upon checking tracking later in the day, I found there was an issue with the address. Rather than hold the package for a day, or even a few hours, they shipped it back to the sender. I really don't want to pay anything extra for return shipping so I sent ThreeA an email requesting a refund. But that has bounced back since their mailbox is full....

I signed up to follow the developments of this fiasco ( same short leg on mine ) and to see if it's being addressed in future. I went back and looked at convention photos and an entire row of Fang Gals all have a short stand attached to their short leg. I don't know how anyone could see this problem this far in advance, display it this way and then just paint it and ship it to people without fixing it first. I think there should be some compensation or replacement, or Ashley Wood should design a base to go along with the figure ( even a DIY one, I'll paint it myself ) and send them to everyone. Melted ice cream, high heels, something to put over her feet. Visually they look fantastic.

I agree. If they knew it beforehand, trough a little stand I. There, otherwise it’s useless unless the buyers rigs something up themselves.

Do you have any pics you could post that show the Fang Gal’s with something under the foot? I’m curious to see.

I also messaged Ashley Wood directly on Instagram, maybe a silly thing to do, and for no response. Also haven’t heard back from customer service.

Heh - if 3a cant fix their email inbox after 10 years good luck with sorting Fang Gal.

Those stands look like the ones you’d get with an anime action figure, the act 4 or act 5 tamashii stands might work as a good stand.

I ended up missing out on the couple I wanted, due to their short runs. I definitely would have been disappointed if I dropped the coin and they couldn't stand, so I feel for you guys that got the ones you wanted. I'm sure I could have figured out something to make it work. Some kind of makeshift base or a thumbtack under one foot, or something. But it's a bummer folks have to even go through that trouble.

Stick a blue tac under the short leg in the meantime

I haven't opened my Neapolitan to see if she's short but my other two Orange and blue Fang are short like CLCTR1 pictures on the previous page.

I always thank the gods when I receive something, and see it is in good condition.

To be honest, my Neapolitan Fan Gal legs aren't exactly the same length either, but the difference is small enough to stand.

Does she lean to one side ? Her feet look pretty level to me.

it is pretty level. The left leg is a bit slanted and so in the middle shorter than on the side.
Fang Gal's weight and balance makes it stand.
But it's like a high heeled Pascha, relative unstable.

Got my reply from CS! Attaching below. Not satisfied with this response at all, but whatever... they’re telling me the leg “couldn’t be shorter, because then they’d all be short.”

Dear Customer

The leg will never be shorter than the other leg as if it is the case all orders will have the same issue. The main reason of this could be the leg being bent inwards or outwards which makes the leg look like shorter (as the picture attached). You can use a hairdryer to apply some hot air around the hip joint and then adjust the position of the whole leg to make both linear again. Feel free to contact us if you have any inquiries.

Yeah this whole thing is pretty sad.
I'm very happy I didn't buy one now.
I'm loving how CS is totally brushing off the public as if you are all wrong and their toy is perfect.
Can someone for 3A please pull up their big boy pants and admit they screwed up during the mold process and didn't want to spend the time and money to fix the error.
"money saving tactics" like this where they will brush it off and hope we'll forget about it 2 months later is pretty sad.
3A should offer a store credit of at least half the value if they don't want to do refunds.
Ugh...sorry for the rant but the steady decline of passion for the company is definitely growing.

If you look at the all black one above you can even see the difference. Why are ThreeA being so dismissive when the fuck up is so obvious even in their own display.

It's definitely a design flaw. The hips/garter belts are level it just her left bottom leg is short by 1/8.
I was thinking of using a hair dryer but it's something that we should have to do in the first place.
Either i'm going to lop off an 1/8 on her right leg or add something to her left. If I add I would have to figure out how to blend the paint to make it seamless.

Don't take any drastic measures. I'm sure one of us will eventually come up with a creative solution. Maybe.
