TTE2023 ONYX TK v2

The new TK Onyx figure looks nice. I must admit when I first started collecting 3a figures, I preferred the more colorful variations. Now I really enjoy the inky/shadow/dark colorways the most.

Yeah, I really want that one! Always had it for the monochrome releases.
Still regret missing the black fighting Jesus from a while back! I simply wasn’t aware that it was offered.
Also bought the Sneaky 71 and especially appreciate the black in gray color scheme.

Going to set my clock to try for the onyx v2. Fingers crossed.

Seen a picture of the Bippu interloper and while the regular version looks nice… It’s a pity there was no interloper in my box.

Maybe first logging into your Paypal account in another tab might help.

But don't take my word on it.
They might as well decide to fuckup your complete order process anyway.

I highly doubt we'll see recycles of these on the store, I think the allotment was just too small. I did get lucky with the Modern Gal MoMo on what I assume was a recycled order. I was a day late to the sale, but I went on the site around 10am China time and there was one available. Kinda bummed but its just as well, $260 is a lot compared to what these use to cost during the 3A years. Collecting is becoming a bit too expensive, and I unfortunately need to be a lot more selective.

Yes, recycles are probably no more. But maybe I should follow your example and try again tomorrow, but getting up around 4AM again, while it’s very unlikely that they put up a unpaid/left over/multi buy cancellation… I don’t know.

Worth a shot but that time differential is rough for sure. Who knows though, it maybe worth the attempt? The sale stipulates 1 per but there are always people that like to test the limits beyond. Worst case scenario, you start your day a little sooner.

I've been camping the site and haven't seen it pop up as a recycle, so I'm fairly certain it is gone and done.

Apparently there’s still stock at the con guys, so it may be worth keeping an eye on the UV site once the show is over! They might put any leftovers on there, who knows! Worth a look if your still interested!

Against my better judgment I was keeping an eye on the UV store all day (which started pretty early!!) long.
Fingers crossed UV put a few more in the store, and that us folks here can grab us one.

About the PayPal check out… these days, I ALWAYS have to confirm my identity with the PayPal app, AND they send me a code by sms, despite they have registered my phone as a safe device or so they tell me over and over.
Anybody else having to go though such a cumbersome PayPal process?? It just takes too long. Is there a way around that? Or an alternative way to pay UV??

Same for me, always a SMS code generated to access the payment selection method. I think PP is the only option as the site doesn't seem to allow stored payments. I guess it's not so much of an issue when the item in question isn't some super limited quantity sale. Really just boils down to who has the faster fingers and better connection at the time. I fumble in those situations, mostly because I'm too cautious when I go through the payment process by double checking the information... I guess I just need to push faster and read less?!

I logged in on PayPal a couple of minutes before the sale.
Received an SMS code and, etc. as well.
But since it was minutes before the sale, I was ready when they dropped and I just walked through the order process, including PayPal payment.
Still, my lack of ninja keyboard skills made the whole process take close to a minute.
Way too slow for Onyx, quick enough for Choco.
I do this since I missed the first Raven Boxer drop on Saturday and it helps a bit.
(Although that all black unnavigable UV website which came a couple of months later sucked massively)

gar, is that on a PC? Its not so easy on a phone, not for me anyway. Despite being logged in to PayPal, I still get to do the whole ‚ sms-code and verify with app‘ routine all over once I go though the UV ordering process.

Seriously, it took me about 4 minutes to get to the „there is a problem with the item in your cart“ msg.

Next time I’m going back to the PC… and still have to confirm by sms + app probably.

It’s a drag. Anyway, hope we get a second chance.

iPhone.

I logged into PayPal via web first. confirmed SMS code.
(PayPal app gets completely ignored about 100% of the time when I shop online on my phone. Just in case, I logged in there as well after logging in via web)
I opened a new tab for UV shop, logged into my UV account and was ready to go.

It works a bit quicker and saver for me, because of the erratic nature of PayPal, besides I don't want to wake up my girlfriend by using my MacBook in bed in the middle of the night.

Guess ebay is the only way to get one of these now. No desire to pay $500+ for this though... Would love a preorder sale for this, wouldn't mind it being released later on. Pipedream obviously..

Yes I’ve seen that there are couple on eBay, but as far as I’m concerned, those sellers can rot.

Still cheaper than Fukai on eBay.

Rumour mill says Fukai didn't sell very well.
So it is possible UV produced more Onyxv2's than Fukai (Hence the fact there isn't a HackerLoper)

By now, I think it’s safe to say that all onyx v2’s are gone. Better luck next time.
