Since 3A staffs needs to work from 18-20 full day, and I only need to work on 18 and 3pm on 19 Sep. I will do most of the stuff alone that you guys not interested on 17 (Thurs evening), 19 (Saturday morning) and 20 (Sunday) all day.

Mechanic Designer Okawara Kunio at Ueno
Tsukiji Fish Market take photos and sushidai at ridiculous 3am in the morning till 7am on one of the weekdays.
EA airsoft gun shooting BAR - to have few drinks AND doing the shooting range. One of a kind.
Visit Asakusa Sensouji Temple and get some lucky cat figures home. (it's a traditional hand made in japan lucky cat)
Eat Fugu together.

Working the 18th - 20th. Playing it by ear if I have to work on the 21st and 22nd, assuming both dates are actually free. Busy on the morning/afternoon of the 23rd.

Any recommendations on bars to check out?

Sideglide just alert me it's a public holidays on 21-23 in Tokyo. This means everything I've planned such as Gundam gallery etc will be packed with people.

Looks like I have to do all the stuff I need to do before Sunday 20.

Wilbur,  Asakusa temple is nice but if you want lucky cats,  I  recommend Gotokuji.  It is the origin of the lucky cat and not  far from shinjuku. They have handmade ones and an impressive collection!

Haha well it's at 11:00 or 16:30 either Monday or Tuesday and I'm okay missing Gundam stuff.
Gotta' work Saturday and Suday.

Tip on Kabuki, they sell tickets for the whole show or each act. Honestly, most of it is boring and you can see people sleeping in the theater.

BUT!, if you get the last act, it is when everything comes together such as battles, big reveals, etc and is quite enjoyable. They also have speakers you can rent with English explanations for what is going on.

Go for the last act.

Good beer places are called Craft Beer Mart. They have a few in tge city including Jimbocho that was mentioned earlier (book district)


Edit: Damn, there is a HUGE beer festival in Yokohama from 21-23. Anyone wanna go?

whenever I travel I always like to plan time to get to know the place before getting to the good stuff.
