Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
GID Mighty is amazingly good! I never imagined it would turn out so good, judging by the sale drawing.
You see, when you buy based on a drawing (and, at most, a description) you're risking putting your money in something that might turn out "bad" (ugly, underwhelming, etc) when you could be investing it on seen product.
In this case, i think those who bet on GID turned out to be winners! The drawing never hinted at the eye's sculpted detail, which adds an unsettling and menacing aura to this otherwise cute robot.
A bit out of topic, another recent GID release that turned out to be superb was the Zomb MD set... I think after the blandness of DC 1.5 and Bertie 2.1, Ash is starting to make GID interesting and well executed again

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
ughhh to each their own but oh man the over use of GID is the worst now IMO, that bomb square would be bad-ass all weathered and looks so silly in GID, if it wasnt in the form of a square i wouldn't even know it was WWR. looks like a toy at walmart.

With the new Mighty Squares arriving, it reminded me what they do.

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
great pic, Mouse... JDF is one of the best designed factions and the mighty is a classic.
has anyone tried contacting CS for the purchase of a mighty? maybe they have some left... for those who missed out.

I did and they said they'd get back to me but that was a long time ago. Hate to have to go to eBay for um

Seems like all of the good recent sales have left no extra stock at CS... they're out of EVOL Rothchilds, Zomb MD & Nurses, etc...
It's becoming increasingly wiser now to order something and then sell it if you don't like it (in which case you would get your cost back, and maybe more)... than to pass on it and pay much more in the aftermarket.
With so many colorways offered at once, there may be relatively little made of each option... unless it's Medic or some other long time favorite... and i doubt anyone would let go of their Medic during preorder... most likely they would resell at a premium when it arrives.
Some Mighty colorways may be very rare... I ordered P-18 Maid because i love the stark yet humorous design of it... i suspect P18 was not a very popular choice during the Mighty sale. I got Gravedigger too, to contrast with it.

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
Good points Pezbana, I wonder how many were made in total and how many of each colourway? I know they'll never say but it would be nice to have a hint, such as less than 200 of each colourway, less than 100 or what is the Laurent effect.

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
For your info, if anyone missed the sale and want one, you might try to email CS, I did it just now, asked them for DD mighty and yeah, they still have extras for that, so I got one now

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
Yay, incoming in-hand pics are one of the best parts waiting for the parcel man!
(or better, the letter from the customs office aka "please add 19% taxes here and wait 7-10 days longer" ....
but its a 50/50 chance that Mighty will slip through customs... )

Both mk1 squares have the same face decal too, so there's probably some collusion.

Re: MIGHTY SQUARE
My Desert Rat Bertie has the dick and "get fucked from the 11th" on his right forearm.
So does 1/12 Desert Bertie but not on 1/12 Deeds.
