What is your favourite WWR colourway?
Well the bot poll is getting some good response so how about a fav colorway ... choose one .. its hard ..impossible .. which one ..
Thanks to Gar whom made this possible by making the poll bigger..and harder!
*Note..not every single colourway is here .. most are ... where more than just one bot or more than one release ..eg. euro defense or dawn patrol are absent ... even with 25 choices..could not put em all in

Deep Powder and JEA are the 2 colorways i have most bots of, but even within these factions i would rather talk about favorite implementations of said colorways.
JEA: Large Martin and Bertie MK3 are the best, IMO.
Deep Powder (any winter faction, actually): Large Martin, Bertie MK3, Bramble, Dropcloth.
Other stellar specimens that don't form (as of yet) complete squads: ModChip, Ghosthunter, African Defense.

Re: What is your favourite WWR colourway?
Implementation and application is certainly ..well contentious .. Deep Powder is my fav .. Deep Powder MK3 1/6th is the bomb..saying that Deep Powder Harold is ..meh. JEA I think is the most consistent in all areas ...and Medic also a stand out for me .. so I suppose when you think of your fav colorway it is also your fav execution within it ! ..well for moi

Re: What is your favourite WWR colourway?
you're right bubs, about Bertie MK3... that's the one i meant, i have corrected it now. I keep confusing MK3 and MK2 because i still see MK2 as the "first proper Bertie".
MK3s (and 3.5) are impeccable, most of them. And i still regret not getting Pinky in his day (i can only afford 1/12 for the time being).
Medic has had some variations too (Caesar, Harold), but Bramble, Dropcloth, Armstrong, are all perfect in their own way (Dropcloth being the star, IMO... with those beautiful silver accents).
Winter Dropcloth is beautiful too.
Harolds are too duo-toned (DP, Medic, JEA) and a step down in color application.
Except for ModChip Harold and the Desert 7th if i recall correctly. Those are glorious.
I give ModChip an honorary vote. Brilliant colorway and flawless execution, in both Large Martin and Harold.

Re: What is your favourite WWR colourway?
Lots of good and great colorways, however for me, WF has been consistently the best. Factions like JEA, DP, 666 have been changing their color palettes in perhaps not the best of ways

Consistency?
Try Dutch Mercs
But that's easy with such a small number of figures.

Re: What is your favourite WWR colourway?
My Fave was JEA marine, 2nd was Iron panda and jungler WF
I think the most consistent colourway was Sand Devil.
DP & Deimos was the least consistent, JEA also not consistent.

Trust me, I know that list is much longer. Didn't want to be a total negative nancy though

You need two more options: None and Other.
Personally, I don't have a favorite, I have to evaluate each iteration as it comes, because the results on the different figures vary significantly.

Re: What is your favourite WWR colourway?
For my absolute favorite, I had to choose JEA. It's the faction I've been collecting the longest and out of all the old colorways it's maintained the most cohesion between bots over the years. My second choice would be the Medic bots, lots of personality in that colorway and the Caesar Surgeon General might actually be my favorite bot in my WWR collection. I also really like the recent Civic Defense colorway, I'm probably one of the only ones to vouch for it, but orange and white is one of my favorite color combinations and I actually think that the light weathering fits the colorway perfectly - as well as sets them apart from the rest of my collection.

EMGY is my favorite with Bromwich as second.
I didn't actually realize there were so many colorways.

There is more than this list ..however could only get these up and limited the list ot releases of more than one bot as a filter ...Gravemaker wrote:EMGY is my favorite with Bromwich as second.

Re: What is your favourite WWR colourway?
I voted for 'Deep Powder' but I really like all the winter themed factions, like 'Frosty Choad' and 'Winter Defense' the most.
Another favourite is the Uncle5 Commando Dropcloth, that one is just great!
Beside those I also like 'Deimos' and 'Bromwich' as well as some desert themed bots.
For someone, who discovered ThreeA only recently (in my case 2014) there are just too much great figures...
So it is very important to find something that you can focus on, isn't it?

Re: What is your favourite WWR colourway?
I wish threea would stay more consistent in their colourways. I mean if you look at Frosty Large Martin, Deep Powder Bramble and Harold they look nothing alike. Also Mod Chip Armstrong and Harold totally different. Diemos Dropcloth and Heavy Bramble don't really fit together that well either...
And before anyone starts with "in war colours change/modify etc." I'm not talking about real life here, I'm talking about toy design.

Re: What is your favourite WWR colourway?
..Just more consideration for those investing into building a squad that looks like a squad .. variation is fine as long as there is some common connection..aesthetic consideration ..which would mean more sales ... I passed on Harold Deep Powder for that very reason.. and Deep Powder DC ... is well really a Frosty DC not Deep Powder .. and makes it even harder if based on a sketch release ..Skipper11x wrote:I wish threea would stay more consistent in their colourways. Re: What is your favourite WWR colourway?
So, I am not the only one with colour obsession
For me, variation in the same shade of colour like the JEA is acceptable, but 2 different colours like in the pictures of the Deimos is completely off my the game.
