Re: WWRp Bramble Mk2
Since you already made a new thread for your 1/12 scale WWRp Desert Attack Bramble Mk2 from the 3AA 2009 membership pack, I removed your post from the WWR Bertie MK2 thread.

Cheers. I did realise that I posted it in the wrong place and thought I had deleted.

Re: WWRp Bramble Mk2
No problem.
Did you get yours on the aftermarket or did you sign up for 3AA back in 2009?
The pouches look so insanely pristine and clean.

That bubble card is beautiful but makes me want to keep him that way. Ash keeps finding new ways to mess with our heads

Re: WWRp Bramble Mk2
looks like the paint is nearly the same on every single one of these from others peoples pics and on mine. kinda miss the old heavy weathered style that had more variances.

Re: WWRp Bramble Mk2
Got my bramble in the mail and cracked that sucker open from its clamshell. This dude is TIGHT! Joints are incredibly stiff and makes posing a dream. I swear WWR and WWRp are threeAs redeemers. The arm shields are posable and the weathering is solid. Not my all time favorite color scheme but still very solid.
More bots threeA. Put TKs and ISO dollies on hold and make it rain bots!

Re: WWRp Bramble Mk2
I must say that the blister card looks good. I hope 3A will do their card like that of gentle giant jumbo starwars figure where u can remove the figure without damaging the card n still put back the figure if need to.Ā
I believe that won't cost very much more in bulk production n the toys can be release fm their 'plastic prison'Ā

Release the Bramble!!!
Excellent bot although the weathering isn't as good as 3a's usual he's still up there with the best of them.

Re: WWRp Bramble Mk2
I carefully opened the card leaving part of it like a hinge, technically it is damaged but if you put it back together you could glue it or leave it and it still looks good, either way there was no way he was ever going to stay trapped inside his plastic coffin.

Re: WWRp Bramble Mk2
One of the first 3A purchases i ever made was some WWRp Brambles.
I think these particular editions may have been some of the earliest WWRp bots ever sold. I bought four that came packed in a single 3A Shipping box so they may have been sold on Bamba as a 4-pack possibly, or maybe they were just sold as singles and happened to ship in a convenient 3A Shipper that happened to hold 4 boxed Brambles.
The 'pack' consists of the Winter Defence, JEA Marine, Merc and Medic colorways. Does anyone know if this was a pack or not ?
I also bought the Euro Bramble around the same time but from a different seller and by itself. Sadly that colorway was shipped without it's packs/pouches and, as i'd bought it secondhand, when 3A did eventually ship out the missing parts they wouldn't help me out making my Euro Bram complete. I could understand that i wasn't the original buyer but still couldn't help but feel it was kinda' lame. What can you do hey (fuck-all apparently!) .
I still think the Bramble was one of 3A's best ever bot designs.

Re: WWRp Bramble Mk2
There were times when CS went out of their way to help people out and then other times just a straight up NO.
Recently I asked for replacement hips/legs for a WWR Bromwich Bramble, I explained I didn't mind the colour and would take the Winter colour and paint them up myself or even blank unpainted ones. At the time the Winter ones were being made so I figured there would be bits and pieces left over, I even offered to buy the pieces and cover shipping but just a straight up no! Recently I was told to try threezero since they would be taking over that end of things, they told me to email ThreeA to see what parts they had left, I didn't even bother, so annoyingly close.
But I've also had good experience at other times with ThreeA CS, maybe it just depends on who is answering the emails on the day?
