All credit for the custom goes to the great Muffinman.  True story - the concept was mine (a Vietnam-era Bramble), but we never once discussed a medal.  Muffinman took it upon himself to add it as an award for my patience (it took him a year to complete).  It was a very pleasant and welcome surprise and a really nice touch..

It wasn't that bad. Just a little nudge on some of the joints and they loosened up, but everything is tight. I was surprised that the medic brambs was still a little tacky on the back after all these years.

Good to hear about the joints, a lot of my early WWRp robots have some kind of unsolvable paintlock.
Tackiness can stay for a long time in some cases, the hands of my 2010 JCs are still tacky as well, even though they have been on display for a while.
