Finally got my desert mechanic in today. That was quite a long wait. It's been one month since I got the email with tracking. Thought he was lost.

Hey Grish are you in the GTA? I'm a couple hours outside of TO but hopefully if yours just showed up mine will arrive early next week. I don't mind waiting for things but this tracking number mess-up certainly isn't helping my patience any.

Yeah he's great! More dirtier than in the promos which is a good thing. He's got some soot on his chin.

Picked up Ross today at the Post. I'm in the west end of the GTA. Never got a tracking email. Thumb, try checking with your regular post office. I went to the Post with no notice card and it was there!

Yeah got mine in BC on Friday.

Great photo, Grish! I was also starting to worry that mine might have gotten lost in the mail ether, but hearing that others just got theirs is reassuring. Will probably arrive tomorrow and then I can laugh it off.

I love how well the desert mechanic matches the Harold hope to snag one secondary hand I'm really liking how he turned out.

So Paul arrived here today with no issues and I'm glad the wait is over. I like how the mechanics bring another element to the WWR universe, and their almost mythical status is intriguing. I would love to see a WWR story from a mechanics point of view; get in, take care of business and get out all the while staying under the radar. Total bad-ass.

Has anybody had the ball joints stuck in the straight hands? I was going to put the wrench and tool box hands on Jenkins, but can't get the ball joint out of the straight hands. Suggestions to help a newbie get his "fixer" fixed.

try heating up the hands with hair dryer or dunk them in boiling water so you can remove ball joint easily, hands get all soft and its easier to get ball joint peg out.

I will give the hair dryer or hot water a try tomorrow, thanks. Just want that wrench in Jenkins's hand as he's tuning up the Dirty Berties!

If you still can't get the ball joint out you could always dunk the hand in boiling water for about 10 seconds, then the hand should be soft and poseable so close his hand into a fist then hold it in that shape run it under the cold tap. This is also useful for making some hands into tighter grips or making gun holding hands on other figures, sometimes you may need to separate the trigger finger with a sharp knife.
