Obsidian landed in San Diego. About to crack him open right now////

[EDIT: opened it up - - - nice classy minimalist shadow OG TK in all its glory. I really dig him. The OG packs, belt, shoes, one sword,.. all great. No body issues to report. The new "re-tooled" bod seems nice and solid in the shoulders and still has all the articulation. Definitely feels sturdier. I did get some chin scuff that took a minuscule amount of paint off. That's it though. Finally, an OG TK in my collection! Very happy with the shadowy fella.]

It looks like everything will only be sold together as a bundle at roughly 500 USD.
You get "1 set" (Ash TK and Siu TQ), 1 "random RARE item" (Stormy TK), plus a poster.

So the Stormtrooper/Lonely Star Warrior TKs are going to be blind box style at TTE at least!
I wonder if they are going to sold the same way on Bamba?
Only 300 premade possibly?  Half at TTE and the other half on Bamba?

As far as I know there are other really RARE items at Thailand Toy Expo.

I imagine there are only 300 at the expo. Makes no sense, business wise, to have to fork over the money to Lucas just to make 300 toys. If anything..3A wants to sell as many of these as possible to make the profit gap a little easier.

Noticed in the shipping update that the 3AA Heavy Duty Slicer is delayed, regular set for late April. Can't wait to see that big 'ol bot head.

It says in H3ADLINES issue 7, that the TK Lonely SW Sergeant will be for sale at Bamba during or around the Thai show.

I think you're right gar, if you add up the cost of the 1 Ash TK, 1 Siu TQ and 1 Vampire Hunter = $500.

So the Stormy TK Bamba sale details are still unknown, besides the price.

We will have a handful for the Thai toy expo next week.
Will offer online soon, the Thai could be considered beta versions.
I can't wait see what guys you do with our 1/3rd size toys,
from photographing to clothing diy, the larger size really helps helps in all regards !

It's RARE and random and threeA was able to pump out 150 of them in total.

actually I still confuse about TK K1971 and TQ BO, thai exc and bamba.

Ash should be more clear about this, maybe admin can help us to ask to Ash:

There has been a teaser blurry of the bothead in one of the previous headlines

Would just be tickled to the point of pee leakage if we had all the info at least 24hours in advance of any figures being dropped on Bamba.
Not sure if this will be one of the first sales where our 3AA perks will be utilized or what,...

Obsidian arrived today, and I have to say that I'm really impressed! The, joints are nice and stiff, I'm looking forward to trying out some different poses with this guy. Also, is this a new belt clasp design? Much easier to take off the belt now, and my fingertips don't hurt afterwards which is an added bonus.

The belt clasp design I believe is either exactly or similar to the original old school belt clasps. I think they might be exact, but I'd have to pull out my original TK from underneath my pile of boxes to be sure. Maybe someone else can confirm or deny.

Every time I see a post here, i keep hoping its Obsidian landing in the states..at least close to my area. This pics I've seen so far have got me pretty excited.

Obsidian TK in AZ, no bueno on the chin though not sure what I'll do... first figure I've got in a while where they didnt cover the face... damn paint rub... damn...

Meh, fixed it myself... CS wanted me to send the head back to them so they could fix it... seems like more trouble than its worth after i'd have to pay for shipping and then having a headless figure for a month or longer...

Yep, this is one of my personal fave TKs now ... big time OG Negro feel on the guy for me and I love it.
Weird that the chin scuff seems to be showing up on this guy. I've seen it on a few on IG as well. Mine was really really minor and I don't even feel the need to fix it. Cthulhu, yours looks as good as new right there. Shadowy badazz.

Have to break out the paint later and get it covered up.
Should've invested a few pennies in those head plastic bags 3A...

Man, I hate hearing about the face problems with this. I guess we will see how widespread this goes..

Obsidian arrived! Looks perfect...actually one of my top figs now. It has such a simple appeal to it.

Strangely, the shoes are a big appeal point for me. The weathering is great. I fee like Ob'y was working in the coal mines all day, hah.
