Been away for a while but made sure to make the Halloween sale to get Zombkin and hope for a secret drop....

Definitely a hurried paint job, but still cool. Anyone in the USA received him yet?

Angry Zombkin is here! Another great addition to the Zombkin family...

I can really see why he is angry now, they burnt his poor pumpkin face =\ seems to be a common production paint.

Looks like a bit much of over spray ... I didn't buy this at release but might try to acquire one down the road.

My Angry Zombkin is also charred face. I don't like it. It feels off and not as fun as the promo, like less detailed imo. I may touch it up.
Not happy with it at all.

Yikes, bamba version looks terrible.

I've never been a fan of the Zomkin although I do have the first one but the paint app looks terrible. I hope these are the exception and that most will look like the promo pics.

Bamba's is certainly missing a bit of the promo art charm.

It's missing a lot... received mine yesterday got right down to work.

BTW I hear the con version's head is solid resin, whereas the bamba is the ol hollow vinyl.
You can see how sharp the edges are on Noir's vs rounded on the bamba

You can remove all of the weathering with a cotton swab dabbed in paint thinner (mineral spirits).
One swab was enough to get rid of all that excess paint on the face.

Re-weathering is up to personal preference.
I used matte black acrylic paint, diluted with alcohol and dabbed it on the cleaned area with a sponge.
Lots of trial and error here, but the cool thing is if you screw up just wipe everything off with alcohol and restart, will get it to your liking eventually.

One swab was enough to get rid of all that excess paint on the face.

Re-weathering is up to personal preference.
