Actually kind if fun. But today I am doing employee evaluation so I am away for hours at a time... Big sis lass are hopeful!

Loving the dark lass, hoping she pops up while I'm online. 3AA hasn't had many exclusives this year so nice to see one.

Landed the dark lass a while ago. I was trying not to drop coin on 1/12 so when I get her in and not satisfied I will possibly sell her.

I never understood the appeal of the all-black shadow variant figures.  Could someone explain it to me?

For me she might look cool with death mask hunter. Sometimes when a figure is all black you focus on the form itself vs the the details of color and graphics. For example: DIY Guist Shogun looks stunning and almost like a statue without any paint. There is a purity to it. see the link.

Dark Lass appeal? I was on the fence about getting the traditional Lass - she's great but I've the 1/6 and 1/12 isn't my favourite scale (to be honest I'd much rather all these figures in 3AGO) but the Ash drawing is great, the boots look ace, the final appearence might be a total win.

Overall I think its on a sculpt by scuplt basis, my Shadow Merde has never been out of its box as its not a patch on Cold Merde.

Just noticed the cowboy and horse set says (boxes pack)!! Guess that means it will just be individual blister packs packaged together! Wonder if they'll be in a nice additional box or just straight in the shipper??

all AP wave 2 bamba release was boxed pack as I understand, and retail blistercarded.. cmiiw

I'm not a huge fan of 100% black figures, though having something that gives off a strong silhouette is cool.  This one looks like a dark grey/black based off the contrast on the art which could mean absolutely nothing but it's what I'm hoping for.  With the dark grey/black figures, you still get a bit of the form and some contrast between the different surfaces and textures.  It's less striking, but since the darks are so heavy it still attracts the eye.

In this case I also thing the two Lasses will look boss standing next to each other.  Thank god this is AP though, the only time I bought two of the same 1/6th figure with different variants was the new Rothchild and I'm not sure that was a smart decision.

I think Dark Matter Lass will look great displayed with the original 1/6 Lass. It'll be like her dark alter ego!

At least we saved some coin on a colorway. Dropping $150+ on a1/6 dark lass probably wouldn't sell as well knowing people have the OG lass. They why question would always be there however. Hopefully popbot9 book talks about dark lass.

Well, 3A just saved me some money. Im got paid yesterday but I couldn't buy any of these until today and now there gone.

^ Exact same situation for me as well. Went on to bamba to finally make my purchase and they are all taken down...not sure why but I expected these to be up for a week or more to be honest. Oh well money saved I guess.

Yes, disappointing. Wanted a Lass and a DGA and then I saw the Dark Matter Sis, would LOVE to have that out of all of them. Sale put up on the 16th and taken down early Sat the 18th. It's not like I stayed glued the 3A news. Would love to know with each sale how long we got.

Now that I have some spending cash i'm going to pick up some other figs from other companies i've got my eye on.

I never really see the sense in making these so short sales - its not like they are ready to roll out on the production line this week.

I guess some sort of 'optimal numbers' for production is in play on a production time-line schedualling basis and the 3A know what they will get with a 24 hour sale of this line but still, seems odd especially as they are going to be adding in retail. Obviously the faithful try and buy immediately but credit-card timing can matter for folk and 3A defo loses some sales like this (in my case Andy last year just came at the wrong time of the month).

I wonder if there is anyone we can contact to order if there are still some available, or if we had the product links if they could still be added to cart...hmmm :\ Been waiting for these for quite awhile and the only reason I even had to wait on buying them a few days is because I just spent a huge chunk of change on the TK Hunter

It is definitely worth contacting 3A CS and asking if you can add an order. No guarantees, but they have been kind enough to allow me to place an order on two occasions after a sale ended on Bambaland. One instance was within an hour after the sale ended and one instance was a few days later.

That being said, on another instance when I found a link showing an item as available after the sale had ended, I contacted them asking if it really was still available and the answer was no.

So, you never know - it's worth a shot because it can't hurt to ask.

If you order from a sales page after the sale has ended, they will cancel your item.

Best to email CS and ask if it is possible to place an order. Retailers will be be able to offer AP wave 2 next week.
