MK2's are not quite as popular as the original Square²
Maybe it is the single eye in the square box.

Maybe one eye only really works in a dome.
like Bertie, Ankou, Ankou EX, Nabler, Nabler guy, Soot Diver and Caesar.
Although Caesar also comes in a flathead variant which looks pretty good.
One eye original Dropcloth looks pretty good while one eye Heavy Bramble is not as lovely and awesome as his two eyed MK2 counterpart.

The MK2s may not be very popular but I really love them. The solitary eye gives them an alien feel and there is something quite elegant about the way they pose and balance on the long legs.

MK2's work better in certain colorways... Ghosthunter is a perfect example, but also JEA... it seems to me that the single eye design needs more decals/color around it to make for an interesting "face".

Whereas MK1's can be plain and still be charming.

what are the four-legged squares, MK3's?

Here's a challenge for you all. My wife can make the same mouth as the squares. I've never met anyone else who can form a point with their upper lip.

Heyo! Does anyone know if the legs of mk1 and mk2 squares are interchangeable? The socket of the legs to the ball joints of the "hip". Thanks!

Hmm... possibly. ThreeA tends to use similar ball and socket dimensions on many of their robots. I've even seen some WWRp ball joints fit relatively nicely into larger WWR figures. Worth a shot I say.

Thanks, Argentix. I'd rather know for sure though. I want to buy a mk1 specifically for a custom project. The plan is to attach the mk2 legs. Bummer to buy a mk1 if they wont fit.

As i didn't get myself anything this Christmas, i decided to open these guys.

I spent a year debating whether or not, because the clamshell is signed by Ash, but life is too short and i can enjoy the squares and still keep the clamshell Razz

I had considered buying a second set, they're still available at GoodSmile, but it seems pointless to spend more.

As for display, I have my squares distributed all over the house. Though all together would look cool too.
